"Breathtaking huh? A mote, that is good that means i will have something to drink when i get there. I have not had some water for a while... wait Mote water stagnant gross. I never hurt innocents... i protect them or hunt them for food."

He continued to run his tail stiff and raised behind hi mto help him keep balance.

"There is a well, for fresh water if you wish." She chuckled at the comment about innocents. She still longed for her glory days, before Venis went all good on her and dragged her along for the ride. She was a vampire after all.

"What in the the Eastern Forest is whale water. sounds gross"

While he ran sometimes he would fall down to all fours, or kind of pounce. He would flip gracefully and do leaping bounds. No he wasn't trying to show off or anything, but he was a cat still at heart. He had to play didn't he? If not he would have been bored and lost all attention on what he was doing and end up lost.

Seleen chuckled again. "Not Whale, well. Fresh flowing water, not stagnant. I am not fond of stagnant water either. Heh, well for the last couple of hundred years I havn't been fond of water much at all. I have to remember to ask Venis if they even have Whales in Rhy'Din."

He stopped playing for a moment and gave her an odd look. He didn't know anyone who wasn't fond of drinking water too much. Then again he was having trouble recognizing her life signature as well. It was there but wasn't

"Rye Don? is that where i am? I thought this place had a different name. Well water that is well is well enough for me i guess."

She laughed some more. "You are in New Haven, well, leaving New Haven. That is the name of the town. The continent is Rhy'Din, on the planet Rhy'Din. Most of the enhabitants of Earth fled here when Earth was no longer safe for them. Earth was thought to be dead at one point. But it survived. But so many of it's inhabitants had fled to Rhy'Din, it was mostly humans and plain animals left. Even though I'm no longer what could be considered human, I stayed behind, I was safe from attack where I was at."

She sure did miss Earth though. But she dared never return, for he would find her and she would become history rather quickly.

"Earth that is where i am from, I belive a different era however. You seem a little more advanced in the years then i. Did htey belive the world was still flat when i left or did humans never ever figure that out... period."

Humans back when he was alive were to scared to travel to see where the end was. They were cowards afraid of everything different.

"I did not have anything back there to miss. I had no family, ther ewere other anthros but none of my kind. the reason why i wound up here was because i was curious. I was pretty positive what i was going to do was going to kill me. I was going to ascend however when i did it. Instead i ended up here."

He shrugged as if i where nothing and continued to look foreward he wasn't homesick because his home was just him alone the same familair things everyday.

"You mean you were making a choice to die? I had no choice. That was not in my hands. Oh how wonderful it must be to be able to choose." No, she wasnt loosing her mind.

"de... dead? You are not dead i see you right here. The choice was in my hands. I don't know what happened but i will be trying it again soon to see what happens."

He had stopped paying attention ahead of him as he ran so caught up in her saying she was dead. Suddenly he ran smack into a branch into his gut. All the air left out of him as he went flipping over it. He landed on all fours and kept running not even losing a step. He was out of breath though.

She gasped as he hit the branch. "You still don't want a ride?" Then it dawned on her that there were no such thing as vampires in his time. The first wasn't even born until many many years later. "I'm sorry, you don't know what a vampire is do you?"

It took him a second to catch his breath. He held on to his stomache as he tried to gasp out the words. His face looked calm and composed but it was clear that it was probably pretty painful. He played it off well though.

"I no va... Vamfire? No understand vamfires."

He seemed to lose a lot of his articulation when he was confused about things.

She shouted out over the sounds of the beating hooves. "Driver, stop." She waited while the coach slowed to a halt. She hoped that he would stop too.

He stopped ofcourse! He was curious as to why their journey had suddenly stopped. He managed to catch the wind that was knocked out of him extremly fast now that he was not running.

"Why you stop?"

"To give you a chance to catch your breath. I could hear the way your breathing was a little labored and the way your heartbeat was rather rushed. Not a good thing around a vampire."

She wanted to wait for a second or two before they got going again. It just wouldn't do for him to get injured. Everyone in the coach had dozed off, so if he ended up hurt in some way, it would totaly suck for him, plus there would be no one to prove she didn't do it.

He gave her a very dignified look, despite hte fact that she was only looking out for him.

"I will have you know that I was going to catch my breath just fine running... It may have taken a little longer but i would have caught it. Why wouldnt i want to be out of breath in fron of a... va...mfire?"

"It wasn't you being out of breath around me that was the problem, it was hearing your heartbeat. Vampires are the living dead, and they live off of blood. I can easily control my bloodlust under normal circumstances. Butit has been a while since I last had a snack and I did get a little riled up earlier. That makes me get hungry faster. I will be fine and you are perfectly safe. Once we get to the keep I'll get some bloodwine and will feel much better."

She figured that would scare him a little, but he had to know. She wanted him to understand that he was safe though. Especialy now that they had stopped for a moment and his heartbeat wasn't as loud in her ears.

He thought for a moment on her words and heard now that it was Vampire not vamfire. He completly had his breath back and was ready to go now whenever she was.

"Just the blood, that seems like a waste of meat to me. I always use everything in a kill."

He was still a cat of prey and was not afraid of the thought of someone preying on someone else.

"That's why those of us who are civilized drink bloodwine or the blood of animals who are being slaughtered for food for others already. No sence in draining the blood and wasting the rest. Ready?"

She hit the side of the coach again through the window on the door that she had been talking to Sky through all along, signaling the coachman to restart the horses. When the coach jolted forward, she looked to the others within to see if they were awakened by the movement.

He nodded and started to move along with the carriage again. He didn't understand animals getting slaughtered but it sounded horrible. He figured he was better off not asking at all He smiled over at her jokingly Though with his teeth it was hard totell teh difference between that and a snarl.

"I am not... civilized as you put it. I am quite feral, and i do not waste meat no ferals i know do. If i was a lesser cat i would take offense to that!"

She chuckled, how would he take offence, then she realized how what she said must have sounded. "No, Sky, I was talking about vampires only. Too many of us just drink the blood and let the being die needlessly. But some of us prefer to not be so wastefull. I meant no offence."

"I was just teasing you uh... well Ah... What was your name again? I am sorry but i got introduced to a lot of people today and i would hate to call out the wrong name."

He felt his cheeks getting warm in embaressment. He was lucky that he did not have that very obvious blush affect humans had due to his fur.

"You may call me Seleen. And trust me, I understand. I am horrable with names myself. Yours just kinda stuck in my head for some reason." She looked forward for a moment to see how much farther they had to go. Not that she was in a hurry to end this conversation or to wake the others.

When she looked foreward he looked foreward. It wasn't like he knew what he was looking for but he might as well take a look around
