"I would be honored to travel along, however i will walk or jog along depending on hte speed of the horses who i would guess are the power to this machine? I am no fan of enclosed areas."
He took a step toward the coach again but paused and hesitated to wait for the Centaur Nephalei. After all she was so far, his closest friend and hte person he trusted the most here.
"I suppose it is customary for the ladies to go first right?"
Yes it was a serious question. In his tribe males and female treated eachother exactly the same depending on wht they were. ranging from mother to warrior.

"I also don't like the idea of using these fine horse to do what i do naturally. It is not my thing. I pretty much run stalk or walk anywhere i go anyway. It is easy for me"
He looked up to the sky and took another deep breath, then he put his hands in hte pockets of that denim jacket. How he had gotten a denim jacket when he did not even know what a carriage or gun was will be a question that would probably remain unanswered.

"It is yes. You may ride atop if you feel you can hang on without causing damage to the coach. They belong to the Jordianthan's, not me personaly. Or if the man at the reins doesn't mind, you can sit with him, or even the seat on the back. It folds down and one could sit quite comfortably." She continued to hold the door waiting for everyone to get in.

"You may run along if you wish, I know as a cheetah you can probablyt keep up just fine." She smiled then.

He laughed then at her comment and shook his head slowly, it wasn't often he laughed so heartily outloud esspecially in front of people he didn't know.
"There is no horse.. or being alive or dead or anything inbetween that can naturally move faster then me on hte ground, even other cheetahs."
He also usually wasn't that cocky about anything, however his sprinting speed was quite literally unreal.

Seleen smiled then. He had a nice laugh. "Glad to hear it. Well, I guess we'll see you when we get there. Since you can keep up I won't need to give you directions, yes?"
((Girls, if neither of you posts in this next few minutes I'm going to assume you're inside the coach. Nothing against you, just want to keep the SL going and stay busy. It's helping me deal.))

Nephalei smiled and nodded at Sky's polite gesture. "Why thank you," she said, batting her eyelashes in a teasing, over exaggerated way. "I'm flattered."
She stepped into the coach. She was dubious as to whether or not she'd fit at first, but it was amazingly spacious in there. Plenty of room for all.

"You right. I do not need directions i will be beside the machine the whole time."
Yes he did leave out the are in you are right. He was feral after all. Since Nephalei had already proceded him he went to the carriage as well. He dug his clawed pawed and still very very cat like feet into the dirt gaining extra traction.

((Oooo, something else for me to do. What kind of homework? Can I help? I'm very smart, a little dingy, but I am still very smart. Well, not at math, but like English and Science and stuff. I'll do my best, I mean it's been like 14 years since I graduated, but I can try.))
"Lady Nephalei, don't worry about the upholstery, climb on up and get comfortable." Yes, we were back to miss manners. She chuckled at Sky, he looked like he was getting ready to run in a marathon or something.

Re: Getting settled in / a big day of adventure
Talk about someone who needed to take a major chill-pill, or who needed to go beat up on something to let out steam. She chose to take out her steam on Vesta of course. She was still while Seleen talked.
Knew she was trigger happy. Vesta didn't lay a finger on the lady and yet she was the one who had the gun to her throat. "Some people can't fess up to what they've done and that's not my fault. Just because she's a god doesn't give her the right to interfer in other people's lives. That's the choice she made. We all have to live with our decisions. Not use them as an excuse to parade around power and mess around with things that are none of their business. It's called letting people have free-will. Ever hear of it?"
"I don't believe in gods," making her way back to the coach. "Not an insult unless you think I'm not entitled to an opinion." A shrug of her shoulders. "It's like this, if I have the ability to read your mind and know what you're thinking, do I act and never let you experience things on you own? Butting in everytime I know that you're going to do something wrong, or you should be doing other things? Or do I let you carry on so that you can learn someone? No one ever learns anything if people never let them do anything. Again. Just my opinion. like it or not."
"If your goddess continues to 'help', lets call it that, then people will never learn and they will grow ignorant, and that ignorance will kill them."

Re: Getting settled in / a big day of adventure
He smiled a little embaressed at having someone watch him like that. he stopped digging his foot in the ground and a little laugh slipped out
"I do this so that way when im running i dont slip in grass. Trust me even with pawed feet and a tail, and mine is quite long it is very easy to fall..."
His attention was once agai ntaken away and caught by the arguing women. He didn't want to be involved but things like this were like a train wreck. It was horrible but he just couldn't take his eyes off of it.

Re: Getting settled in / a big day of adventure
Seleen sighed. "Vesta, she cannot simply choose to ingore the things that go on with you. It's not even possable for her. When you guys get back tonight, you can come and meet her. You will see what a wonderful person she is and that she means you no harm. But you do have the right to your oppinion and your beliefs. No one wants to take that away from you. You also have the right to refuse her help when she offers it. But you were not the only person or being present when Sky landed on the roof of the coach. I assesed the situation as did the men on duty. We informed her we needed back up just in case. It is better to be safe than sorry. And believe me, I like you, I would be very sorry to see you get hurt or die from an attack I could have prevented."
She hoped that she made her point clear and cleared the air between them. She was in danger of loosing someone she might someday call a friend. She didn't really make a lot of friends. And it wasn't because she was trigger happy, or even overly cautious. She just wasn't much of a 'people person'. She prefered to be alone in a dark drafty castle where no one can bother her and she can offend no one with her not wanting to be the prim and proper lady and wear dresses and do her hair and nails and all that stuff she considered crap.
"So can we just call this situation over with and done and get on with our lovely day. Sky and I have gotten past it, can't you and I? I know of this wonderfull pair of distressed jeans that are at the keep, I'm too tall to wear them, but they should fit you wonderfully. I would love for us to get back to the way we were moments before all this mess so that we can play, oh how did they call it back home, mall rats?"
More of Seleen being homesick for Earth shinning through. She giggled and winked at Sky. After all, she had been spending time with the Goddess and the Healer, being around them and their family was enough to turn anyone and everyone into a brat.

Jeans. She could do jeans. She was trying to be brought with clothes! Bribery! Blackmail! Well, maybe not blackmail.
"No. I'm sorry Seleen." She drew in a deep breath and let out a dramatic sigh, spreading her hands before her. "I hate to say it. But it's over between you and I. I'm sorry. It never would have worked." trying to work up some of those fake tears. She was a bad actress. Would never claim to be a good one.
"You're a vampire, I'm a girl." She rocked back and forth. "I'm afraid that the only way to repair things is to have one of those matches in a tub full of bubbles." She held her hand up to stop Seleen from saying anything if she was going too. "I know. It's a terrible fate to have to undergo, but I'm afraid that's what it's gonna take."
Now she could have been yanking her chain, and perhaps she was. Who knows? With that she jumped into the carriage. "Bet the guys would love it."

Re: Getting settled in / a big day of adventure
He walked up to the horses who didn't seem even slightly scared of this clear predator. He reached out a hand to each one of them and brushed his hand over their heads riht between the ears. He appeared to murmer something to each and everyone. He spoke loud enough to be heard but nothing he said would probably come off as anything more then jibberish.
"Horses are such beautiful beings. very graceful, strong and proud. that why you can not break a true mustand. They are soaring with that raging fire of freedom in their hearts, no matter what happens to them."
Suddenly his attention was caught by the notion of him loving something and he looked back at the carriage with a confused look
"Now why in the world would i enjoy something like that?"

Seleen started laughing, actualy laughing out loud. She hadn't laughed in so long. "I prefer bikini's and jello." With that she reached up and used the handle on the side of the coach. She skipped the step and just swung herself up into the coach. Then she leaned out and hit the side of the coach twice to signal that they were ready and then swung the door shut. She poped her head out the window and smiled at Sky. "Let's be off." Then she went over and sat next to Vesta on the bench.
With a jolt the coach lunged forward and they were off. Headed in the direction of the Goddess' keep and the wonderful castle full of lots of fun things.

(haha! we like to talk. )
"Jello? But then we'll be all wet and sticky and, unless there are some guys who are going to volunteer to clean us...." drawing that out. Oh thoughts. Thoughts. All they were were thoughts because she never had that happen before. But it sounded like fun!
"We'll have to get in the tub anyway. So see, we end up there anyway." All talk? Maybe. Never could quite know with her. "How'd ya'll get all the money anyway? Some type of job or I don't know.. you make it?"

( could have sworn i posted...)
Sky didn't even know what jello was but apparently it made you sticky and need a path. Poor, naive, sweet Sky. The joke was completly wasted on his ears. He just gave a shrug and dismissed the whole subject figuring it wasnt anything for an anthro to understand.
"So exactly how far away is thpis place. I suppose that is a question i should have asked before i stated that i would just run along!"
He was joking ofcourse as he matched the paces of the horse so he could still be in conversation position with those inside the carriage. He could run for miles without stopping. He would need to drink afterards ofcourse but oh well.

"I could think of a few who would volunteer to clean us up. Should we make it a match for the Sparring Gym when it opens?" She was still laughing. "Like perhaps you Cad?" She didn't even give him a chance to answer. She turned her head towards the door. "A few miles Sky. You gunna make it?"

" A few miles? I won't even been winded, i have enough stamina to last all night! However i will let my acttions speak louder then words."
He ofcourse meant that in themost innocent way possible, however placing it righ there just so happened to be ironic timing. A more perverted mind might take what he said totally different. True to his word so far, he wasn't even breathing differently.

"Sure. We'll go for a bit in pudding.. or.. jello." it would make for a tasty treat anyway, and it could be fun!
Vesta stretched out in the carriage, never having been in one before this was an experience. maybe she should be dressed up for this ride? ha! maybe not. "A few miles you say? Do you all have a mote around the uh. Keep?" she had to ask.

Sky listened in on their conversation, he still was lsot on this pudding jello thing. However he did always like to watch a good fight or two. He enjoyed watching hte tactics other people employed. That was how his tribe handled disputes. The concept of sarcasm usually went over his head.
"So there is somewhere we can initiate in combat where we are headed?"

"There is a mote around the main castle yes, well, partialy around it. So yes, we will have to cross a draw bridge. As for a place to battle, well, yes, there is all the land around and there is also the middle of the castle, it is open air. You just have to be carefull, if you harm any of the inhabitants, even by accident, she will get quite angry."
She was used to this kind of place, but she loved that this was all new to them. She felt honored to be able to give them a new experience.
"I think we would draw a better crowd and find more volunteers for clean up if we waited for the Battle Gym to open back at the Inn though. But you guys will see the keep for yourselves soon enough. For those who have never seen such a place it can be breathtaking."
