Venis' escaped had been halted. She had been seen as she traveled through the garden. She knew the voice, she didn't even need to turn and face him. "I'm going to play in my playground. Here comes your girlfriend Shuda, don't let her follow me." She walked off again in the direction of the woods. She needed to get away, and she needed to get away, now.

He chuckles a little. "I understand.....well I don't understand but you know what I mean. Have fun." With that he started to whistling (Ive got a lovely bunch of coconuts) waiting for Seleen to show up.

Seleen burst through the door to the garden and saw Shuda. He seemed to be ok, but she ran over to him anyway. She reached Shuda and hugged him. "I'm glad that you're ok honey, I was worried about you." She looked up and saw Venis. "Hey V ...?" Venis didn't respond. So she looked at Shuda. "One second honey. Let me go make sure she's ok." She started to withdraw from his arms. She was just going to take a second to see if her friend was ok.

He grabbed her arm and pulled her back to him. "Sweety I am fine the fresh air has helped out a lot. Venis asked me not to let you her. And normally I would not care but right now it looks like she would eat me if I even looked at her wrong. So why not just stay here ok?"

Decking the Halls - Page 7 Empty Re: Decking the Halls

Post by Guest Tue Jan 20, 2009 12:17 am

The men were just looking at each other as Venis went wild. What else could they do. They hadn't been trying to instigate a fight, they hadn't been trying to get into the middle of things that weren't their business, they were just casually observing the situation. But Venis was 'barking' at them and even threatening them before she started just getting everything done for them.

Well, she had gone outside and decorated everything. She had said there were some things left to do though. So Shamus, Andrew, and Jorge took off to get those things done after Venis had gone upstairs. That left Bo, Derek, Joseph and Keven to go help with boxes in the Meeting Hall. Everyone wondered where Isah had gone off to, but no one said anything.

Decking the Halls - Page 7 Empty Re: Decking the Halls

Post by Toy guy Tue Jan 20, 2009 2:00 am

The kid from the toy store loaded up the box van. This was an awful lot of toys. But he understood, it was stuff from Santa. Once he had the van loaded he closed it up and locked it down. He got in and fired it up. He had never been to the other side of New Haven before. He had been in New Haven a few times, but never out the other side.

He drove on through New Haven, seeing that some area's were not exactly built for vehicles as large as this. He knew that there were parts of Rhy'Din that were less modern than others. He just hoped that nothing caused the van to stall out and die. He would hate to have to walk back and fourth carrying boxes.

He arrived at the Inn with no problems. The place looked great. It was so festive and it had so many lights. He hopped out and went around to the back of the van. He threw up the door and got down the hand truck. He loaded some boxes on it and began to wheel it into the Inn.

As he got to the front desk he was noticing just how awesome it looked inside. They had put a whole lot of work into this place, and the holiday decorations were just fantastic. He snatched up one of the little pink boxes that were on the desk and opened it up. He popped a piece of fudge into his mouth as he heard voices down the hall.

He followed the voices and found a Meeting Hall, and there were people inside. The chose to just ask out loud for what he needed. "Hey, is this where the presents from Santa Clause are supposed to be delivered?" He thought it might be as they were all decorating packages with pretty little bows and ribbons and it looked like Santa even had a place to sit to pass out the packages.

Decking the Halls - Page 7 Empty Re: Decking the Halls

The items from the electronics store had been sent out for immediate delivery, They had taken the time to use some packing tape and making sure that things that had several parts were all put with their parts. More work than most places would do, but these were gifts from Santa and so it was the employees of the stores way of helping Santa out. Everything was loaded into a truck and driven up to the Inn.

Once they were there the two men who were making the delivery had pulled up next to the van from the toy store. The toy store guy was taking in boxes as well. So they loaded up their hand trucks and followed along. They had also each grabbed up a little pink box. But when they got to the Meeting Hall, there was no reason to speak as the toy guy was already asking the only question they had.

Shamus, Andrew and Jorge had seen the van and the truck pull up. They were headed into the Inn after finishing up the yard decorations. They headed down to the Meeting Hall just in time to hear the guy ask about the gifts from Santa. Shamus replied to the guy. "Yea, this is the place. Let us help you guys get this stuff in here." The three men started helping the three delivery men get things into the Meeting Hall

As Shamus was headed out for a third armful of things he ran into Manny and Epiphany. Manny gave him some specific instructions on the unloading of the carriage. So Shamus went to doing that while the others continued to help the delivery guys.

Shamus started with Epiphany's things. A little wooden ship, some bolts of fabric, some wood, a lot of computer equipment and a dress box that contained a caplet. All of those things were taken up to her room. Shamus started putting things in the hall outside her door.

Then he unloaded the computer system for the Inn, putting it behind the counter to be set up later. After that, he unloaded all the gifts from Santa for the guests of the Inn. Manny had taken the time to label each box so nothing would be wrapped wrong. They were put in a different stack than the gifts for the kids.

Once the truck, van, and carriage had been unloaded, the three men started wrapping the newly arrived boxes and labeling them accordingly They definitely needed more help. So the other men joined them and left Tasha to the adding bows and ribbons. They had heard Seleen say that she and Shuda would be along soon. They figured she was right. So they started wrapping.

Cas just shook her head she thought of following V but changed her mind. She had murder in her eyes and even though she knew V would never hurt her last time she had seen that look in V's eyes it had not been pretty.

She looked at Gawain and then back at V and then to where Benjamin had been standing and shook her head.

"I'll be in the hall if I'm needed."

She went into the hall and sat down to start putting ribbons on the boxes, that was when more items got delivered she left the ribbons to others and began wrapping boxes.

Seleen hugged Shuda again. She was a little worried about Venis, but Venis would be ok. She would go and deal with her things and be back, she always came back. So Seleen concentrated on the incredibly warm and sexy man in her arms. "Come on honey, let's go help in the Meeting Hall. I want to be able to see the kids open their gifts in the morning." She took his hand and pulled him towards the Inn.

They headed into the Meeting Hall and she saw all the men and Casie wrapping the gifts that had been delivered. And poor Tasha was trying to get the ones that Venis wrapped decorated still, she hadn't even started on the ones the men were wrapping. So Seleen went over and got busy helping her. "Come on hon, pick a spot and lend a hand here."

Isah headed into the Meeting Hall. He saw the men and Casie wrapping boxes and Tasha and Seleen putting on bows and ribbons. Shuda was there too. Isah headed over to the bows and ribbons table and got to work. He broke the silence. "So, what pissed off Venis this time?" He had no idea what had gone on while he was dealing with Kyra.

"I did."

The answer was simple and accurate.

"I interupted something between her and Benjamin in the hallway."

Isah arched an eyebrow, but left it alone. "Ok, that's odd, but whatever. She will get over it I'm sure." He continued to add bows and ribbons to the packages. But his mind was on Kyra.

Emilia was standing in her doorway when they all started opening and closing. Her door knocked her forward into Cad's arms. She kissed him and then smacked his cute behind and locked her door heading down stairs to help with the presents.

When she got to the hall she saw all the actions.

"So do you guys need help?"

Yes she was standing in the doorway.

Joseph was seated the closest to the doorway when Emilia offered to help. Silly woman was standing under the mistletoe, intentionally he guessed. He rose from his chair and walked over to her. Kneeling down he wrapped his arms around her just below her butt. He lifted her and spun with her in his arms as he leaned up and kissed her lips. "Of course we want help. Come on in and lend a hand or two woman." He winked at her and sat her down so she could help.

She laughed as she was picked up spun around and kissed. She kissed him back and smiled as he set her back down.

"Well, I could just make the presents wrap them selves. It would go faster."

Joseph smiled, he knew that Venis had done that very thing. God bless the Goddess'? He chuckled. "That would be great, the rest of us could put on the ribbons and bows." He smiled at her lovely idea.

Emila smiled as she pinched Joseph on the butt.

"You got it sexy."

She looked at the presents and then closed her eyes. It looked liked she was surounded by a breeze no one else could feel, her hair was blowing back from her face. The presents began to wrap themselves paper coming off thier rolls the scissors cutting the paper and then wraping the boxes. The tape was the last thing to go on them soon thier were sorted boxes of santas presents till sorted by age and sex.

"There you go."

She smiled as her eyes opened and her hair fell back into place.

"Now lets get bows and ribbons on them."

Joseph chuckled as she pinched him on the butt. The men watched as Emilia wrapped several gifts at a time and somehow kept them all straight. They hadn't seen when Venis did it earlier, so they had no idea what it looked like. They were all awe struck. But soon she was done, and she said that it was time to get the ribbons and bows on them. So the men got to work.

Seleen passed Shuda a gift, a bag of bows, and a box of curling ribbon. "Here you go honey, make it pretty for us please." She leaned over and kissed him. It was lingering and yet chaste as they were not in the right place for anything more.

She looked over to Tasha, she was being unusually quiet. And she looked like she hadn't had a good nights sleep in weeks, or longer. She would talk to her later, Tasha and her weren't best friends, but still.

Emilia came in, she worked some divine magic and the gifts were getting wrapped and were staying sorted as well. She had seen Venis do such things before, and knew that she had even done it earlier, but it was still extremely nice of Emilia to do the same. "Thank you so much Emilia, that is a huge help." With Venis gone for the night and Tasha rather zoned out, Seleen seemed to be stepping in.

Everyone finished the packages in record time thanks to the Goddess'. Now everything was ready for the morning and Tasha stacked the packages up on the stage setting for Santa. She looked up at everyone who had been so helpful. "Thanks for everything guys. I'm sure the kids are going to love it. I'll see you all in the morning." And with that she watched everyone leave, she was the last one out and closed the doors behind her. The employees would open them back up in the morning when it was time.
