Decking the Halls

Isah had been the first to get to work as he had already placed the mistletoe above the door to the employees room. He moved down the hall to Venis open door, where she was standing. He smiled at her. "Hi Venis." He reached up and placed the mistletoe above her door and stapled it in place. She surprised him by leaning up and placing a kiss upon his cheek right beside his mouth. He kissed her back in the same manner at the same time. Then he moved on to Tasha's door. She too had opened her door and was standing there. He figured it had been the noise that had brought the two of them to their doors. When he placed Tasha's mistletoe she granted him a kiss as well. A chaste peck to his lips. He smiled. "Merry Christmas Tash."
He crossed the hall then to Shuda's door. Seleen was standing there watching as well. "I guess the three of you tend to come and see what's going on when we make so much noise?" He placed the mistletoe and smiled. She kissed his cheek as Venis had. He smiled as he returned her kiss and then moved onto Casandra's door. He was starting to love being on mistletoe duty. But he knew that the only door on this floor after Casandra's was that of The Marques del Stry. He shared his room with his assistant Leo. No hopes of a kiss at that door. He reached up to place the mistletoe above Casandra's door. What Manny hadn't planed, was something that had been Isah's idea. As he did each room, he placed a round candy cane type peppermint ring on each door handle, like a little wreath.
Shamus and Derek got started at the employees door. Their paper had more green than any other color. But there were hints of other colors as well. The one that seemed to need to be drawn out the most was red. So once the paper was stapled in place they ran a red ribbon down and a second red ribbon across the door, stapling them in place. Then where the two ribbons crossed a big red bow. Then they moved to Venis' door. Her paper, as well as Tasha's had been two types mixed together. The proper paper was placed and rolled down the door, stapled into place. The ribbons were different to match the papers. Because on the top half of Venis' paper it said 'naughty' in white letters on red paper, a white ribbon was stapled up in the corner at an angle from the top of the door to the side. And the bottom half of her paper read 'nice' in red letters on white paper, a red ribbon was ran across the opposite corner, parallel to the red ribbon on the top. The bow was placed in the center of the door where the papers met. It was a white bow with red designs upon it. They both received a kiss for their work, same as Isah had.
Tasha's door was done exactly opposite of Venis'. Hers said nice on top and her bow was red with white designs. Tasha had also graced them both with kisses. The men wished them both a Merry Christmas before crossing the hall to Shuda's door. His paper was silver with mostly purple design. So his ribbons and bow were purple. Seleen was nice enough to grant them both kisses as well. This was getting fun. They moved to Casandra's door and rolled her paper down her door. Her paper had a lot of gold colors to it, it was very pretty. Her ribbons and bow were a very shiny gold. Next would be The Marques del Stry's door, they chose a dark blue paper, the Star of Bethlehem was the theme. The stars upon the paper were glittery and reflected silver. So they chose a shiny silver ribbon and bow for the door. Once they were done, they would head for the second floor.
Keven and Andrew got a step ladder and started at the end of the hall by the employees room. Andrew climbed the ladder and began to staple the garland in place at the bows. He used the yard stick to make sure that the little red bows were evenly spaced apart. Keven was feeding the garland to him as he moved up and down the ladder moving the ladder down the hall. They were moving rather fast, making sure to turn on each strand as it was hung up. They would not be fortunate enough to collect kisses from the ladies, but they would have their chances later.
As they finished the hall and headed for the stairs, Keven reached into the bag and pulled out some multicolored garland. He stapled it at the top of the had rail for the stairs and as he walked down he wound it around the hand rail. Andrew had a special surprise as well. The men all had bad habits of adding their own personal touches to things. The large pole that ran down the center of the spiral staircase, Andrew began wrapping some lighted garland around it as well. This would definitely brighten the stairs. Once they reached the second floor they began again with the garland up and down the hall.
Jorge had grabbed up the first box of center pieces and had already headed down to the bottom floor to place them. He had the two runners in the box. So he placed one on the piano in the main lobby and then went to place one on the piano in the Lounge. He left the candles unlit in case someone wanted to light them later. They had red candles in glass and plenty of evergreen branches, pine cones, holly leaves and berries, and poinsettias. He returned to the main lobby and placed a medium sized one on the table by the couch. He had a third, shorter runner for the fireplace. And his personal touch ... Stockings. He placed a row of various stockings across the mantle of the fireplace. With a smile he headed over to the bar and started placing the center pieces upon the tables. Once he was done he headed back upstairs to get the next box so he could do the other rooms.
Joseph had gotten the box of tree shaped scones. He went along placing small nails in the walls. He measured by the bows from the garland. Every third bow he placed a scone upon the wall at just above eye level. And he was 6'8", so just above eye level was a good place to put them. Instead of candles he used some battery operated plastic candle looking lights, the bulbs looked like little flames. This way they could be turned on and no one had to worry about changing out the candles or blowing out the flames. And what did Joseph do to personalize his work? He hung a candy cane from each of the scones. Joseph had also managed to get his kisses from Venis, Tasha, and Seleen. Once he was done he moved to the second floor and began again.
Bo had the hand truck and he began to load boxes from the employees room. He had a good time getting them down the spiral stairs and then the hand truck back up. So before he went to get the next load he went to ask Venis a question. In doing such he got his Christmas kiss as well. He asked her for a portal to get the packages through so he didn't have to risk breaking anything on the stairs. She was happy to do so for him. She would go from the third floor to the second. Then she went from the second to the first. And from the first to the Meeting Hall. Bo had followed her with his second load of gifts. He returned when she did and he went after a third load while she returned to her room. She had said something about changing and helping. Bo said he would get to her room as fast as he could.
He finished the gifts from the employees and went to Venis' room. She was ready to go by the time he got to her room. She helped him get the gifts from her room then she remained in the Meeting Hall while he went to retrieve gifts from Tasha's room. He received a Christmas kiss from her as well and moved her boxes for her. He collected from Seleen, getting another kiss. He began to think that they all needed chapstick to make it through this day. He got all the gifts from Seleen and headed to Casandra's door. He would go to The Marques door after, then to the second floor. His idea was to knock upon every door make sure that everyones gifts got to the Meeting Hall to get wrapped and added to Santa's bag to get passed out.

Venis' door had been open. And when the men had made noise she had gotten up to go see what was going on. She saw Manny and Epiphany leaving down the stairs. She figured they were teasing the two of them. Isah appeared in her doorway and she smiled. "Hi Isah." He hung some mistletoe above her door and in keeping with tradition she leaned up and kissed him on the cheek.
Right behind him Shamus and Derek came to wrap her door in holiday paper and make it look like a present under the tree. She saw the paper and couldn't help but laugh. "Cute, very cute." She gave them each a kiss to their cheeks as she had done to Isah and let them move on. She saw that Tasha's door was done the exact opposite of hers and she laughed.
When Joseph got to her room with the tree shaped scones she gave him his Christmas kiss. She was watching Keven and Andrew work their way down the hall. And while she watched Bo showed up. He got his kiss and some portals to make his work a little easier on him. She even volunteered to help get the Meeting Hall ready to wrap gifts. She liked wrapping gifts, so of course she would volunteer.
While he went to get more boxes she changed clothes. She pulled on a pair of red leggings, the kind that had the strap that went under the foot. She also pulled on a big over sized green sweater. A pair of socks and she pulled on her black boots. They had four inch heels and fur around the top. The tops went half way up her calves. She rolled her head to the side and continued to a bent over position. She pulled her long red hair up into a pony tail at the crown of her head, slightly forward. She secured it with a red and a green hair tie. Two ties made it easier to hold all that hair up.
She put in some ruby earrings and grabbed up the only other ruby she had. The amulet was set in yellow gold and hung from a 30" yellow gold chain. Anyone who knew Venis knew what was in that stone. It was only half, given the other half had been banished. But even some who hadn't known her very long would know what was so special about that ruby.
By the time Bo returned, she was ready to go. He looked at the amulet and shook his head. He wouldn't question her about wearing it, but she had a feeling he thought it was a bad idea. She was a big girl though, she could take care of herself and her amulet. She grabbed up some boxes after helping him load the hand truck and they headed to the Meeting Hall. She stayed down there because she wanted to do something for Santa while she had the chance.

Cas had been resting in her room reading a book when she heard a lot of comotion in the hallway. She opened her door to see Isha hanging mistletoe.
"Merry Christmas Isha."
She kissed his cheek and smiled as he moved on. Her eyes lit up when she saw the wraping of the doors. She gave Shamus and Derek each a kiss on the cheek as they started her door.
"I'm helping."
She grabbed up the paper that she thought had to be for the Marques and Leo's door and began to unroll it waiting for them to come behind her with the stapler to affix it to the door.
"Merry Christmas Isha."
She kissed his cheek and smiled as he moved on. Her eyes lit up when she saw the wraping of the doors. She gave Shamus and Derek each a kiss on the cheek as they started her door.
"I'm helping."
She grabbed up the paper that she thought had to be for the Marques and Leo's door and began to unroll it waiting for them to come behind her with the stapler to affix it to the door.

When Tasha had heard the men in the hall she got up and went to her door. She opened her door and within moments Isah was there to hang her mistletoe. She went up on her tip toes and kissed him with a chaste peck upon his lips. As Shamus and Derek arrived to paper her door they both got kissed as well. Derek was kissed more on the cheek than the mouth, he was a married man. She watched the others work for a bit. Then Bo came to retrieve her gifts for the people in the Inn.
She had seen Venis run off to help. She gave Bo his kiss, same as Derek's, his girlfriend wasn't the most generous woman. She showed him where her boxes were and went to go change. She put on a green velvet mini skirt, a red velvet and lace bustier, Red and green six inch mules went with the clothes. He pulled half of her hair up in a barrette with red and green ribbons and bells. She put a bell around her neck, it was a red sleigh bell that hung from a green cord. In her ears she wore one pair of earrings that looked like Christmas lights, a second pair that looked like candy canes hanging through the holes in her ear, and her third pair looked like holly. She was good to go.
"Bo, close up when you're done please." She headed down to the mens room to see what else needed to be done. She grabbed up a tree and used the portals to get it down to the main lobby. She go it set up in a nice place and then returned for a tote full of decorations. There were three tree's and two totes of decorations for each tree. So she had some serious tree decorating ahead of her.

Seleen had also heard the noises the men were making. So she had again donned Shuda's shirt and gone to the door. When Isah placed the mistletoe above the door she placed a kiss to the side of his mouth. She chuckled. "Did I hear Manny say that someone needed to freeze the lake? I think I know a guy." She smiled as Isah nodded and then went on with his work. After he had left Shuda's door he had gone to Casie's door.
She watched as Shamus and Derek hung the silver and purple on the door and gave them each a kiss to the side of their mouths as well. The other men were busy doing things they needed to do to get done. She looked back into the bedroom area of the suite and saw that Shuda was still very much asleep. So she headed over to her room that she shared with Tasha and got a change of clothes. As she was headed out she ran into Bo. She gave him his kiss and told him that her boxes were in Shuda's room.
She headed back to Shuda's room to go and wake him up. She would wait to get dressed until after he was awake. She laid her clothes out and headed for the bed, closing the bedroom portion off from the other half of the room. The main door was closed as well, but left unlocked in case Bo needed to get in to get the gifts.
She slid into bed next to him and woke him with a kiss. "Wakey wakey baby. We need a favor from you for the kids." She smiled as she continued to try and wake him.
Once they got out of bed she went and took a quick shower and got dressed. Her festive attire ... Red leather. Leather pants, leather long sleeve shirt, and leather stiletto boots with a four inch heel. What else would you expect? A green elf hat and green accessories made the look complete. "Honey, are you ready, I want to get one of the trees done. But I want to go with you to do the lake first." She had remembered to get powdered before putting on all that leather, after all, she was sans underclothes given the fit of the attire.
She watched as Shamus and Derek hung the silver and purple on the door and gave them each a kiss to the side of their mouths as well. The other men were busy doing things they needed to do to get done. She looked back into the bedroom area of the suite and saw that Shuda was still very much asleep. He was woken up from his sleep as Seleen kissed his lips and with what she said. He chuckled a little bit before getting up looking at her. He went and took a shower after she was done. When he got out of the shower. He put on his normal attire which consisted of a pair of black pants a little baggy, his boots and a black shirt not buttoned up. "Hun why do we need to go to the lake?" As he said that he puts his arms around her.

She smiled. "Honey, as I was going to tell you before we ... showered, we need something done down at the lake for the kids." She placed her leather clad arms over his arms and snuggled into him, her leather creaking a little as she didn't wear it much. "Manny asked if someone could freeze the lake for ice skating. I immediately thought of you baby." She felt so warm in his arms, but she knew she would need something on over her leather to go outside.

He chuckles holding her. "Sure that is fine I do not mind freezing the lake." With that he lets go of her and goes to the door, he opens the door for her.

She chuckled as she headed out the door. "One second baby, oh and leave the door unlocked. Bo will lock it when he gets out our gifts." She ran over to her room and went inside to get her fur lined cloak. It was black, but it looked rather nice with the red and green she was wearing and the black he was wearing.
She pulled on the cloak as she met him back in the hall and she fastened the diamond clasp at her neckline. "I'm ready honey. Would you like to help me decorate a tree when we're done at the lake?" They headed down the stairs and to the garden.
There were some people out playing in the snow, but they were in the opposite direction of the lake. No one saw them as they headed over to the lake. It was larger than Seleen had thought it would be. She looked at the water that was encircled with snow and smiled. "It's so beautiful." She stood there bundled in her cloak so she could watch him freeze then lake.
She pulled on the cloak as she met him back in the hall and she fastened the diamond clasp at her neckline. "I'm ready honey. Would you like to help me decorate a tree when we're done at the lake?" They headed down the stairs and to the garden.
There were some people out playing in the snow, but they were in the opposite direction of the lake. No one saw them as they headed over to the lake. It was larger than Seleen had thought it would be. She looked at the water that was encircled with snow and smiled. "It's so beautiful." She stood there bundled in her cloak so she could watch him freeze then lake.

He listened to her to keep the door unlocked and he was fine with that so when she went into her room to get her coat he just closed his door like she asked. As they headed down the stairs she asked if he could help her with decorating a tree. He did not mind doing that. "Sure sweety I guess I can do that."
As they got outside he saw people playing out in the snow. Anyone that actually saw him right now would think he was nuts being out in the cold with only a shirt, pants and boots on. The fire in his core made sure that he would not get cold.
As they saw the lake come up and when she said it was beautiful he had to agree with her. The sun was reflecting off the water making it look brighter then it should with all the snow around it. "I would have to agree with you dear."

Seleen smiled, and it donned on her. "Honey, you know what? I just realized I forgot something very important." She stepped in front of him for a moment and wrapped her arms loosely around his neck. "I forgot to kiss my baby under the mistletoe." She kissed him then, she couldn't resist, it was so beautiful out there, and he looked so sexy standing there in the snow.
After the kiss she lingered in his arms for a moment lingering in his warmth. "Ok my dear, the sooner this lake is frozen the sooner we can go back in where it's warm. I don't have the advantage that you and Venis have." She winked at him and kissed him one more time before she leg go of him and stepped back bundling into her cloak again.
She looked around and smiled. "The coast is clear honey." She waited for him to do what he was going to do so they could go back inside. She had a sudden urge for some warm blood wine. She was cold, and leather didn't exactly stay warm for very long.

He chuckles as he puts his arms around her when she kissed him. When she let him go and said that the coast was clear he smiled. "Ok hun this should only take a moment."
His eyes started to shift color to a glacier blue as his hair started to turn the same color from this roots up to the tip of his hair. He let out a breath the fog coming out of his mouth for more dominate now even with it being cold out. He walked over to the lake kneeling down putting his hand just barely onto water.
The response was instant starting from his hand going out he sent a wave after wave of ice into the lake and the top layer of the lake started to freeze. He kept his hand there until he was certain he got the ice deep enough about 6 feet deep.
He stood back with his hair and eyes changing back its normal red color. He let out another breath. "There you go I think 6 feet of ice should be enough to keep the ice from breaking with people skating on it." He turned around to her.

He was a redhead again, so it was safe. She wrapped her arms around him again and pressed her body against his. "You're wonderful honey." She kissed him again. After the kiss she took his hand in hers. "Come on, the tree's and decorations are on the employee's room." She was in a bit of a hurry to get back inside.
Once they were inside they headed up to the third floor and got a tree and a box of decorations. "We can use the portals I saw Venis make to get down to the first floor without tearing up he tree honey." She stopped him in the doorway of the men's room and kissed him again. Then she smiled. "Mistletoe." And she pointed up. Then they headed down to the first floor.
Once they were down they saw Tasha over decorating the tree for the main lobby. "Let's check the Lounge honey." She smiled and headed for the Lounge. No tree yet. There was only one tree left when they had gone to get there's so she figured that someone else was already doing the Meeting Hall. "Guess this one is ours to do baby." Isah smiled as he got a kiss from Lady Casandra. That was one he was definitely not expecting. "Merry Christmas to you too Lady Casandra." He moved onto the last door, stapled up the mistletoe and then headed down the stairs to the second floor. He started on the left side of the hall and was stapling the mistletoe above each door. He was going to go all the way down the left and then back up the right to get back to the stairs.
Shamus and Derek not only got Lady Casandra's door done, but the got kissed under the mistletoe and got a helper out of the deal. She had grabbed the paper for The Marques del Stry's door and was holding it up there against the door. So Shamus went and put the staples in the paper. Then he added the ribbon and the bow to complete it. "Thank you for the offer of help Lady Casandra. Would you like to help with the other doors as well?"
Derek removed the back pack with the rolls of paper in them and offered it to her. "I could go get one of the tree's done then." He smiled as he helped her put the back pack on and kissed her cheek again. "You're a Christmas angel you know." He winked and ran off to get the second tree and a tote of decorations. He used the portals and took it down to the Meeting Hall.
When he walked in he saw Venis and smiled. "Hi Venis. Lady Casandra is helping Shamus with doors now so I came to do a tree." He went over to where Santa was going to be and he set up the tree. Venis had already put up a stage for him and the tree was going to look great there.
Once Shamus and Casie were done with the door they headed for the second floor and began at the first door on the right, just as Isah had done. The two of them would be able to make good time working together.
Keven and Andrew were not too far behind once they were able to start on the second floor. They were making rather quick work of that garland. It was really pretty with all those bright colors. And they were doing a great job getting them perfectly spaced apart. They were going to have the Inn done in no time at the rate they were going.
Jorge got that second box of center pieces and took them to the Lounge. He finished that room up in no time and then went after the third box and took it to the Meeting Hall. He saw Venis and Derek in there decorating. Other people were around doing things as well. He started placing the center pieces on the tables. He knew that they would be set aside for the gift wrapping, but they would get put back when everyone was done.
Joseph was going along with the scones and candy canes as fast as he could. He had to stay behind Keven and Andrew so he could properly space the scones. He didn't mind, but he was glad that once the halls were done he could move at his own pace in other area's. The scones didn't go everywhere the garland did. He had made a good choice with every third bow, it was keeping them from ending up on doors.
Once Bo was done with all the ladies, and Shuda's, gifts, he knocked upon the door to The Marques del Stry and Leo. He waited for them for a moment. He didn't get an answer, so he took out a little sticky pad and wrote a note. 'Came by to see if you had any gifts that needed to be wrapped and handed out by Santa. If you do, come and find me and I will get them. Thank you and Season's Greetings.' Then he remembered that they were Spanish speaking men, from what he had heard at least. So he added to the note. 'Feliz Navidad. -Bo {One of The Goddess' employees.}' He placed the note upon the door and headed to the second floor.

Cassie was more then happy to help and didn't protest at all when the pack of paper was placed on her back. She loved Christmas decorations.
"Yes, I am going to help with all the doors."

Emilia was in her room checking her presents against the list to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything they were all there including her last minute present. She hadn't wrapped any knowing that there was going to be a wrapping party down in the meeting hall. Now how to get the presents down there.
She heard all the commotion in the hallway and opened her door to find Isha hanging mistletoe in the doorway. Now this was a surprise she opened the door all the way and smiled at him.
"I guess there is a tradition to the mistletoe so now I have to kiss you."

Isah looked down and the lovely lady before him. There was a small rush of crimson to his face, though it was hard to tell. "You don't have to Miss Emilia." He was not exactly shy, but he had the utmost respect for women. He liked having those long relationships. It was very rare that he did things with anyone he wasn't going to be with for the long haul. But he did take care of his needs once in a while.
But he wasn't even thinking about that at the moment. He was just looking at the gorgeous woman standing before him. If she wanted a kiss he was going to have to find a way to either come down to her, or bring her up to him. But he would wait to see if she wanted the kiss first.

She smiled up at him he was so tall just by looks she knew it was more then a foot.

Isah chuckled and even blushed a little more. Then he leaned down and swept her up into his arms like he was getting ready to carry her across the threshold or something. "Is this better?" And with those words he slowly leaned down to kiss her.

Isah blushed again. The kiss was wonderful and so much more than he had expected. He gently sat her back down upon the floor. *ahem* "Have a Merry Christmas Miss Emilia." He started to go to the next door, his head swimming a little. Once there he hung another mistletoe and another candy cane wreath.

He started putting up some lovely metallic blue paper upon her door. It was holographic and the design was snowflakes. There was some black ribbon and a black bow that both had glittery snowflakes upon them. So those were her accents upon her door. He had seen Isah's candy cane wreaths upon thew door, and thought they were rather amusing.

Shamus chuckled and leaned down. He was only six foot three, not as tall as Isah, but Emilia was still short to him. I figured it was an elf thing. All though she was taller than Tasha, by like an inch maybe. Before he went in for the kiss he leaned to the side of her head and whispered in her ear. "Are ya sure ya can handle being kissed by a Scotsman, lass?" His accent was hardly ever evident, but when he said that word, she would hear it. And he made sure she did, even calling her a lass.

She liked his accent and he had called her lass she smiled and waited, each person had thier own way of kissing and she would let him start it. Besdes there was a lot to learn about a man from the way he kissed you.

Shamus chuckled and placed both hands on the sides of her face and leaned in for the kiss. He held her just tight enough to show her that he meant to kiss her. When his lips touched hers it was soft at first, a few small chaste kisses. But he didn't stop there. Each kiss got progressively longer in duration while he wondered if she was going to let him explore her a little deeper. His hands slid from her jawline down her neck and rested at upon her neck between her head and her shoulders and his thumbs rubbed along her jawline.
