There's No Place Like Home Empty There's No Place Like Home

After kissing her father goodbye, Madeline stepped through the portal. On the other side was a place she hadn’t been in fourteen years, The Society of the Blood Rose. She took a deep breath. It’s was amazing that even after all this time, the place still gave her a warm fuzzy feeling. Even though it looked deserted, it still looked as majestic as it did when she was a child.

Before she headed to the battle arena, she walked around the grounds. She walked past the old armory, the recruiting pub, and other places. This is the place where her life you could say began. It was ironic now, it was a place that could help save her father’s life.

Placing her hand over the delicate trinket, she made her way to the battle arena. Her dad had told her to go where the practice dummies were and tap on each panel. Eventually she would find one that sounded hollow. Once she found it, she took her dagger out , and slid it into the side of the brick, prying it out. Putting her dagger back, she took the hollowed brick and opened it. Placing the necklace inside, she closed the brick and slid it back in it’s spot.

Satisfied she turned and walked away. “Well this should do for now.”

Madeline walked outside the arena and looked around the grounds one more time. This place would always be home for her. Madeline opened a portal to head back to New Haven. She feared they were running out of time. With this in mind, she stepped through the portal. And went home.
