Re: In Need Of A Genius!
"Yeap." That's all Archer had to say about his photographic memory. It was dangerous when it came to getting along with other people. Just ask Caddy, who got the 'No, on the night of January 14th you were doing X and you said Y and I said Z'. Drove her nuts. And sure, Archer knew he shouldn't do that. But when they got to fighting
well, he was a logical man. A logical man who liked to win arguments because he was the genius around here, not anyone else. Call that a flaw.
Archer stuck around to make sure the sandwich and orange juice got down okay. He knew sometimes people got queasy after blood work. So boy was he relieved when her head hit the pillow, because you better believe holding back someone's hair while they lost their lunch was not on his list of favorite things to do. Once Gwen seemed comfortable, he headed back across the hall to his lab. Left the dishes behind, he'd take care of those later. Right now his sludge needed him.
Was it dark? Not completely. The hall light was on, and Archer didn't close the guest room door behind him. While Gwen slept, he finished up with his glorified stink bomb brew, turned on the fans to air out the place and started on the blood tests. When she woke up, he'd have something to tell her.
In the meantime, in between running tests he also got to work on tracking down Arcadia. Doing that was about as easy as getting to the moon on a tricycle.
