Call him a glutin fer punishment, call him outta his e'er lovin' mind. Either way, Jimmy Ray couldn't find his way home. So he returned to the only Inn he'd been able t' find. The Tell rain aimin' Inn. He had remembered meetin' a couple a fillies there b'fore. One o' em had been rather nekked and had some cute lil pointy ears, the other one, well she was a right wicked speakin' that one. She had some sas in her words that didn't quite sit right with him. But, some were just brought up that way he reckoned. The slow canter o' the hooves o' his horse could be heard comin' up t' the Inn. It was the middle o' the night and he was rather tired. It had been a while since he had stopped at the Inn the first time. But this time, he was a little more ready fer whatever coulda been awaitin' fer him at the Inn.

He dismounted his horse and tied him up. His footsteps were heavy as he slowly made his way t' the door. He stomped the dirt and dust off his boots b'fore he walked in the door. He could hear the clank o' his spurs on the floor as he walked o'er t' the desk. "Guess I should be a gettin' me a room this time. No matter what manor of beast or babe be a comin' t' the desk." Words spoken t' himself more than anythin'. He pulled his saddle bag up on his shoulder better and leaned against the desk. He was tired and had seen things he had ne'er imagined could exist. This was one crazy mixed up place he had ended up in. But this Inn had been the least crazy o' all the places he seen. So this was gunna be where he was gunna hang his hat fer a while.

Azlin was on her way in from a day out in the gardens, when she would spot the man standing at the reception desk. Bare feet would pad quietly over the floor as she made her way to the desk. Not sure how to do this whole checking someone in, but she thought she could either attempt it, or at least be social till someone that knew what they were doing showed up. Surely if someone heard her say the wrong thing, they would pop up or something right!?

Slipping behind the desk, for she knew there was a book behind it, that would say whom was in what rooms, and there was also the sheets that one had to sign to get a room as well. Unlike the two past females he had met, she had no pointy ears nor was she nekked. She was wearing a long white flowing gown, and her long locks of silver and golden locks were flowing about her, sometimes seeming if it had a mind of its own, but yet not like Medusa's hair.

" 'ello there...I', Azlin...most just call me Az. Can I try to help you today?" Would be said with a smile, for she was honest she was going to try to help there just was no guarantee she wouldn't mess it up. And it was always best to get introductions out of the way before she forgot. As she spoke she was beginning to look for the paper and ledger that she would need.

Jimmy Ray was caught a lil off guard. He had been restin' his eyes while he waited and hadn't heard the lady approachin'. His eyes shot open an he offered her a smile as she spoke t' him. "Well, howdy there young lady. Az you say, I'm Jimmy Ray. 'Tis a pleasure t' make yer aquaintence. You sure are a perty lil filly. That is one thing I can say 'bout this place, they sure ain't lean on the perty sights." He smiled again as she looked around fer the stuff to sign him in.

She sure was honest. She said try t' help him. That sure was an admireable trait in a lady, heck, in anybody. "Well, Az sugar, I would love fer you t' help me out. I reckon I should be a gettin' myself a room. I've been travelin' fer a bit and ain't seen no place t' stay other than this here Tell Rain Aimin' Inn. Figure this might be a good 'nuf place t' hang my hat fer a spell." Ok, so this cowboy could chat up a perty girl when he wanted. An he was feelin' a bit talkative at the moment.

Which is proabably why he kept on. "So, Az, do you work here too? I met miss Madeline on my ast visit. She was perty too, but she took offence to me sayin' so. You ain't offended is ya? Met a miss Emilia too. 'Bout dang neer nekked that filly was. Pardon my harsh language. I wonder iffin she's still 'round these parts." Yup, he'd had a passin' thought or two 'bout that one. Maybe, iffin she was still 'roun, he could keep her company fer a drink one night. Heck, he might e'en ask miss Az here t' a drink one night too. Just not t'night.

Here it was late and she coulden't sleep. She checked on her daughter and smiled. She then went back into her bedroom and pulled on hip huggers and a tank top. Just a little of her stomach was showing. She figured maybe a walk would help her sleep.

As she was coming down the stairs she heard voices. Who was up this late at night. She went to the main entryway insted of out into the gardens. She smiled as she saw that sexy cowboy from before, he was talking to Az.

Jimmy Ray was talking about her. It seemed the perfect moment to step up to him and tap him on the shoulder.

"You remember me, how sweet. Hello Az."

Perhaps if she wore shoes one might hear her coming, but her bare feet barely touched the ground as she walked, so she did move rather silently. He wasn't the first she snuck right up on and he wouldn't be the last! She would give him one of those smiles, "Tis a pleasure to meet you." She would give a small nod of her head, at his words, for she noticed the fact that most the people in the place were not hard on the eyes as well.

The girl couldn't tell a lie, though it did depend on how one asked a question, for she could be a crafty one when it called for it. A girl had to have some secrets right? Though she was being honest about trying to help! And she was rather glad when she found the papers she needed him to sign. And the one that let her know what rooms people were in. She would look to him, "Did you need just a single room or something larger?" She had heard the rooms grew in size by the floor that they were on. Though she wasn't quite so sure about that, for not having been in to many herself.

At his question of her working there, her head would shake back and forth, before baby blues rested upon him. "I actually don't....I would hope if I did I would be more organized! Or at least be armed with more information. I just happened to be coming in from gardening, tis a passion of mine, and noticed you at the desk and thought I'd take a stab at helping out." She nodded as she spoke, her hands were moving in a sort of fluttery motion. She did let out a giggle at his words, "Offended? Me? It will take a lot more then that to offend me!!"

And that would be when Em walked up and Az would give the other woman a warm smile. " 'ello there Em."

Jimmy Ray was havin' a hard time believin' miss Az didn't work here as good as she was doin'. He understood everythin' she was sayin' t' him, and that was a helluva good start right there. As for the size of the room that was easy. "I'll be needin' a bed, an a tub, an maybe one o' those chests o' drawers. Not much else. But I do also need me a stall in the stables. I reckon that hay an feed can get charged t' my room like my meals? How much would this room be costin' anyway? Need t' make sure I got the cash fer it. Actually, all I got is gold nuggets. Know anyone who could buy 'em off a me?" It was possible that she didn't have the answer t' those particular questions, but he figured he'd ask 'em anyway.

He smiled at her when she told him that he hadn't offended her. "Good t' know." That was when he heard her. Just as she was a tappin' on his shoulder, she spoke t' him in that oh so perty voice o' hers. "Why there ya are beautiful." He looked at her clothes and grinned. "An with clothes on too. Well I'll be darned. Oh, pardon my harsh language. How's that daughter o' yours miss Emilia?" He remembered her mentionin' a daughter when they last spoke. He turned to sign the paper an put his name in the book. Someone sure had some time on their hands. They'd done doodled all up in the book. 'Course, it just made him grin.

Emilia smiled at Az and nodded to her.

"How are you?"

She then turned back to the cowboy, a smile spread across her lips.

"I was wondering if you were going to come back. Yes I am wearing more clothes tonight, and my daughter is fine."

She did put emphasis on the more because she had been in clothing the last time he saw her just not as much. As for harsh language she had used much worse herself.

Azlin had a thing for people, it was a natural talent if you will, she was very good with social situations and with her past, she was quite good with some organization too. Seeing that the lady's that she saw usually greeting and getting people rooms, kept such good records made her trying to help out that much easier. As he spoke of the requirements she would give a nod of her head, for that was simple enough, it sounded like the next floor up where all the rooms were single beds, and the things that he did require. "Sounds like you need a room on level one...simple rooms, single beds, a bath. Do you have a problem with stairs?" It wasn't that the man looked like he did, but one never knew. The main floor of the Inn had no rooms to let, seeing the bar and the check in was there. As for the stables she would give another nod."I am sure that hay and feed would be charged the same. It would make the most logical sense." The last bit was spoken softly, though she was pretty sure that this place did have logic to its workings. When he spoke of costs, she was looking at the paper work, yet she saw no price there. She would lift her head and blush, "I don't see a listing of costs...I just know from when I checked in that the rooms got more expensive the higher up you went." But hearing him speak of gold nuggets she would shake her head, "That I don't but perhaps the Inn would be able to make some deal with you, and the gold? I am sure that they would give you a fair shake?" She thought she had heard once that they took many different kinds of payment here at the inn.

She then would turn those baby blues upon Em, and smile, "I am doing good. How are you this eve?" She would then look back to the papers trying to find out the rest of the answers to his questions, at least she had told the man, she was just trying to help out so he knew that she wasn't just a incompetent employee of the inn.

Jimmy Ray was very glad t' hear that Emilia's daughter was good. He wasn't gunna press on the clothes subject. Maybe he'd get used to it, maybe he wouldn't. Either way, it was her choice t' dress the way she did, an not his. "I ain't afraid t' admit that I'd been a thinkin' 'bout you a bit miss Emilia. Kinda the only reason I came back. I'd a traveled fer a while longer b'fore stoppin', but you kinda made me feel a touch welcome here. So I came back." He smiled a big bashful grin at her, complete with color t' his cheeks.

An then he had t' finish with miss Az as well. After all, she was the one helpin' him t' get a room. "Stairs ain't no problem, I'm in perty good health. I'm perty sure that I can afford my room an tab at the bar as well as the feed an stall. My gold is perty good quality. Could e'en be used fer jewelry ifin someone wanted it fer that." He covered his mouth an yawned. It was late an he was tired. He wondered if one o' these lovelies would offer t' show him t' his room.

She smiled at Az.

"I can't sleep I was going to go for a walk when I bumped into you two."

She looked to Jimmy Ray as he spoke. She returned his smile.

"I am glad I made you feel welcome, and glad you decided to return."

She listened to him as he spoke, so his gold was jewlery quality.

"Jimmy Ray, I do believe I know who would want your gold, and she will pay a fair price for it. There are a couple women here that work with jewlery. How about I show you to your room and let Az here get up to bed. I'll come get you in the morning and take you to see Venis and Tasha."

She waited for them to answer.

{{Sorry t' be skippin ya miss Az, but I been waitin an after readin' the mess in that there OOC post, I's a figurin' it might be best ifin I go on ahead t' keep my thread alive. No offense was meant.}}

Jimmy Ray blushed as he looked at his feet. He hadn't expected t' be greeted so nicely from any one an especially from miss Emilia. "Awe shucks miss Emilia. Ya don't haveta say that t' me. But ifin ya are glad, then thank you." He figured that no one from the Inn had e'en remembered him, let lone would be happy he came back.

He smiled at the lady after she said she knew who could buy his gold from him. He figured there was someone round somewhere that could help him out. He had seen a lot since he'd gotten t' Ridin' so he figured someone made jewelry. "Are they close by? My horse needs some rest an I don't wanna take him too far tomorra." He figured if it was too far, he could wait til the next day.

He was just so damned cute blushing like that.

"Your welcome, the person who can buy your gold is here in the inn on the third floor. Very close to my room."

She took the key to his room from Az and smiled at her.

"I'll take the cowboy here to his room and let you get to bed."

She turned back to Jimmy Ray.

"Come on I'll take you to your room one of the stable hands will put your horse in a stall for you."

Azlin would blink her baby blues just a moment before giving a nod to Em and Jimmy Ray. "That would probably work best." So when Em did reach for the key, Az would hand it over. A smile giving to the man, "Hope to see you around." It really did not mean anything, Azlin just loved people, she couldn't help it. They were rather facinating. And then she would nod to Em, "See ya later." And then she would well, simply disapear.

Jimmy Ray listened t' the two lovelies before him. It made him smile. Miss Emilia was chalk full o' good news, and miss Az was sweet as pie. So he had him a room and he was e'en gunna get show t' that room. His horse was gunna be taken care o' too. It all worked out fer him. "I do hope t' see ya around miss Az. It's been a pleasure meetin' ya." There was a tip o' his hat t' miss Az b'fore he offered miss Emilia his arm. "Lead the way perty lady." And they were off t' find his room so he could get some rest.
