Kyra had been back at the inn for a couple hours now and instead of going inside she went to the gardens and took a seat on the bench. She had a lot of questions that still needed to be answered but she would get to those eventually since she is sure her father can answer them well enough. She also had other things on her mind that just wouldn't go away and her mom said they probably wouldn't until she dealt with them but she doesn't know how to deal with it so she just left it alone as it seemed like the best thing to do. She was dressed in a long blue dress with glitter on it and a diamond pendant necklace that was given to her by Sheena for Christmas and matching anklet, bracelet and earrings. Her hair was going down her back as it usually did and even flew a little when the wind picked up. If anyone was watching they would would almost think she was sleeping because she was staring off directly in front of her and not blinking almost like she was in a trance. She let all the thoughts she was having gather in her head and she was separating them out in order of importance so she can deal with everything but there was that one that just kept pushing it self to the front of her mind which would cause a sigh to escape her lips as she continued on.

She finally comes out of her trance after about an hour and still not clear headed like she thought she would be. She thought she would have at least a few things figured out but sure enough they were still there confusing the heck out of her. So what does she do she decides to go deal with one of her issues at least the one she wants to deal with now. Kyra has a feeling of where she might be able to find who she is looking for and heads off toward the stables to see if her hunch was correct.

Isah was cleaning out stalls with a pitchfork. Right at the moment he was in the stall that Willow had been staying in. It was not originally intended to be a stall, but she needed a place to sleep. So the men had relocated the equipment that had been being housed in that area and out it in a smaller space where it fit just as well.

Cleaning up after a dragon was not quite the same as cleaning up after a horse. He had to use a wheel barrel rather than a bucket. A whole new layer of hay would have to be laid down as well. But he was shoveling away. He had his shirt off and kept pulling it from his back pocket to wipe the sweat from his brow. Every muscle in his body rippled as he would scoop up the hay from the floor of the stall.

The thumping of the large pink tail would alert him to the fact that something was going on. But when he looked up he only saw the unicorns playing. He wasn't as tall as Willow, he didn't see someone approaching yet. When some of the other horses started making noise and playing in their stalls, he thought perhaps Andrew was back from the break he took. So he payed them no mind as he listened to the soft whisper of music coming through the ear buds in his ears.

Kyra made it to the stables and seen who she was looking for after a few moments of looking. She stood by the unicorns and hoped they had remembered her from the when she rode one of them. She remembered riding the female and held out her hand to see if she was going to let Kyra pet her. She let herself get distracted until she figured out how she was going to approach him. This wasn't an easy subject to talk about considering she has disappeared on him on more than one occasion now. Even though she had her reasons it still wasn't fair to him. He was a good guy and deserved someone more than her and she was fully prepared to tell him so if it came to that. She just stood there with her hand to the unicorn to pet it...if she would let her.

Rapture did let Kyra pet her. And it was the sounds that Rapture made that captured Isah's attention again. He peeked his head out of the stall he was working in. "Kyra?" A bit of surprise to his voice. He was happy to see her, but he was rather shocked at the same time. He was going to wait right where he was and see if she wanted to come to him. He didn't want to chase her away yet again.

Kyra was petting Rapture when she heard her name and at first she didn't look she just whispered to the unicorn "It's him isn't?" She took a deep breathe and let it out before turning her attention to him while still petting her. Given that she hasn't mastered hiding her feelings he would be able to see the sorrow and turmoil in them even though she tried to hide it because she didn't want to upset him more. She spoke a little low not sure how to address him.

"Hey...I thought I would come by and see you and talk about....."

She just left it there not sure what they needed to talk about or not talk about or....well she just didn't know what to do she is a 17 year old young lady after all.

Kyra stood there watching him hoping he would have something to say and when nothing was said her heart began to sink. She lowered her hand from the unicorn and doing her best to not show the tears that were beginning to well up in her eyes she turned and headed back to the inn since further discussions were not needed at this point. She sighed as she let her feet lead her to where she was going. Not being spoke to was not on the top of her list of things she was prepared to deal with but she supposed at this point she deserved him not speaking to her for having disappeared several times in the past.

Isah was waiting for her to finish her sentence or come closer when Willow sneezed. He jumped back from where he stood to avoid the masses of snot and flames that shot fourth from the big pink dragon. He took a moment to douse the flames before returning to the edge of the stall to talk to Kyra. "Sorry 'bout that Ky ..." He stopped mid sentence when he looked to where she had been standing by Rapture and Empyrean.

But instead of finishing her sentence, or at least coming closer to him so they could talk, she was walking away ... Again! He had already shrugged off his duties to spend time with her once. He wouldn't get away with it a second time. Venis was lax, but not that lax. Luckily for him, Willow was his last stall. He started mumbling and cussing under his breath as he returned to cleaning the stall.

Her little feet were taking her off in the direction of the woods to the one place she felt safe. Kyra knew at this point it was a mistake coming back to the inn and she should have stayed away. Her heart was hurting because the friends she thought she had when she left weren't really her friends after all or so it would seem to her. It didn't take long before she made it to the waterfall and using her wings she went out to the middle rock again and sat there staring at the water. What was she looking for in the water you might ask? Who knows....she sure doesn't.

He had been heading back to the inn after a taxing day at the forge. He saw Kyra walk right by him without so much as a word. He saw the look on her face and knew something was wrong.

His scaly head swiveled back the way she had come from and he saw Isah. of course, it had to be something to do with the heart. He sighed. Timed to be a father. He walked over to Isah and stood there.

He spoke enough to where Isah would hear him, no menace in his voice at all just concern. "Hello Isah." He waited a moment and then said, "Look, I do not know what is going on with you and Kyra. But here is what I do know, she is hurting and you are the cause of it." He lifted a hand to stop any protests. "I know she cares for you, and I think you care for her. So right now I will say this. Go after her. Now. If there is backlash then you tell your employer to come see me. Now off with you."

After a great deal of time and thinking Kyra was no closer to an answer than she was when she got there. Given that she decided to head back to the inn and get something to eat and a shower. Soon it would be St. Patrick's Day and she had heard there was going to be a party. She grinned to herself thinking it was time to be a teenager and have some fun regardless of how that fun comes about. Once she was back at the inn she went to her room and took a shower and got a nap. After waking up she went down to the bar to get herself some food and drink and see what all she has missed.

(At this point the thread is done and anyone wishing to see Kyra she is in the bar.....she has appeared in the drinking one with Archer. Have a nice day folks.)

((Well, done after this post that I have been TRYING to put up. I have lost it twice and thought it went up the third time.))

Isah was almost done cleaning the stall. Willow had sneezed again. Then he heard Dre. He turned around to look at him. He listened to what he had to say. There was no need to put his hand up, Isah would let him finish. But once he was done. "Kyra is the cause of her own pain. She is the one who can't stick around long enough to finish a sentence. I have been nothing but nice to her from the day I met her."

He had to dodge yet another sneeze from Willow. "That employer is your mother, and you know that. And you know how she is. Now as far as telling me to chase her down yet again, perhaps you should take your own advice. Spoken to a certain Furgirl lately?" The flames were out again. "Now, I need to go talk to your mother, could you do me a favor and look Willow over, see if maybe she's catching a cold or something please. I have no idea about Dragon health stuff."

He cleaned up the tools he was using to clean the stall and then went to empty the wheel barrel. Under normal circumstances, he would listen to Dre with blind obedience. He was Venis' son and his boss for one of his side jobs. But this time he just couldn't. He couldn't bring himself to go and talk to her right now. He was too upset himself. It seemed like every time he turned around, she was bailing on him, on them. So she must not want there to be a them. When he was done, he headed up to talk to Venis.

He nodded and listened to Isah and then he himself had one last thing to say. Catching up to him he stopped him and spoke calmly, "Maybe, Isah, you forget what it was like to be that young and naive. What we do not know is how the fae folk are. Unless of course maybe you are of the fae folk ad have not told anyone." A cheesy grin given at that.

"Now also realize she is a woman, and we both know women are strange creatures. Do we not? Maybe there is a reason she can not stick around. Nerves? Fear? Who knows? Have you asked? As far as being nice to her, I know you have been. Hence why I am here talking to you and not ripping your head off your shoulders." Again a cheesy grin. "Maybe you would like to know, that Kyra has been on her own for a long time. So she has not had anyone to teach her the ways of the world. or of men and women. So her instinct is to run. Why? Well because the family she thought dead was actually not her family at all. So she has just found out the truth.

"Maybe you remember when a certain dracon found out more about himself then he knew? One other thing to keep in mind. Many may think I am a common thing, but do not forget that I am also one to be feared.

"As for your employer, I know who she is. I know she is my mother, hence why I phrased it the way I did. It was meant as a joke. To bring a smile to one's face. Or have we forgotten how to do such?"

"And I am sure there will be a time when mine and the Furgirl's paths shall cross. We are friends after all. Before you ask; no I have not spoken to any of the family lately. Not even Sheena."

He looked at Isah and then at the dragon. "I will look her over, though between us. As common as dragons seem to be and my kind seem to be. I am sure anyone could tell you. But I thank you for thinking of me in this matter. I will send Mother a link when I find out something. "

With that he turned to the dragon, as he said one last thing. "Piece of advice, do with it as you wish. But if you can not remember how skittish, naive, and scared younglings are then you might just be best to let her be and stay alone. Just food for thought because I would really hate to have to explain to mother and Manny why they are one employee short."

Was he kidding? Who knew? Question would be; does one dare to test the waters?

As he looked over the dragon he sent out two mental links. One to Kyra to see if she was alright and to tell her to go have fun. That both of them needed to think and search inside themselves. The second was to his Mother letting her know that Willow was sick and her chest was rattling. He was not sure of the cure, but she might want to find one soon before everything became charred.

((Dre done. Thread can be locked as far as I am concerned.))

Kyra received the words from her father when she woke from her nap and was going down to the bar for something to eat. She returned the link to him.

"I will be fine and thank you. I'm made from good stock and I'm sorry I haven't come by and see you but I will be sure to do that soon. I love you."

With that she entered the bar and an unusual scene.
