Re: Snow in the Garden <open>

[Inion]

Inion laughed warmly as the shower of snow hit them. Spreading her wings she covered Leo and Juliet so they wouldn't get as much of the snow as she does. It was all in good fun and she didn't mind but it was time for her to slip out and make the hot chocolate. With her team mates covering her retreat to the door Inion made it fairly safely to the back door of the inn.

[Casandra Lightheart]

When Levi was done and the fairy had left Kjay shook himself off covering thr other two in snow. He was having so much fun his tail was wagging a hundred miles a minute so when he turned to leave his tail hit the two in the fort. He ran off after Levi and dove behind the bushes. ~That was fun~

[Inion]

At the door she took off her coat, gloves and hat hanging them on a rack. She headed into the kitchen and grabbed the things she had brought there earlier and astarted making the hot chocolate. It was her special recipe, double the chocolate, little cinnamon, and some nutmeg. She had to make more then she had thought at first but thankfully she had planned on extra batches. She couldn't leave the milk while it was cooking so when everything was ready she moved the coco in the bar, set up extra comfie chairs and such around the fire, which she made sure was blazing and warm for when others came in from the cold. The table in the center was set up with mugs and a large pot of the hot chocolate set nearby staying warm.

[Casandra Lightheart]

"Kjay Levi come on lets get inside"

Cas called the animals to her and watched as they reluclently came in. She laughed as they came in literly with thier tails between thier legs. They followed her to the bar and layed down beside the fire place.

Cas sat down in a chair and smiled at Inion after removing her cloak.

[Inion]

Inion returned the smile as she set down a tray of treats, cookies, fudge, small bits of cake, and the like.

"good eve ... Lady Cas, I am I right? Please help your self to anything. Playing in the snow isnt the same with out some hot chocolate, treats and a blazing fire to warm up with afterwards."

She moved around setting out the very last of things

[Emilia]

Emilia saw the fairy and tall red head go inside the inn. The red head had called the panter and wolf in after her, where they both hers? They played like they had been raised togeather.

Into the inn she went she and to the bar, she removed her sweater leaving her in her tank top. Sitting down in a chair she pulled her legs up and tucked them under her self.

"Hello."

She smiled at the fairy and red head.

"I'm Emilia."

[Casandra Lightheart]

"Hello Inion."

She smiled at the other woman.

"I am Casandra, pleased to meet you Emilia."

She looked back at Inion.

"Thank you for the coco."

She picked up a cup of it and smilied as took a sip.

[Inion]

She smiled at the new lady.

"good eve, Emila, I am Inion. Please help yourself to coco and treats."

"Lady Casandra should I get something for our playful company" she looked toward the panther and the wolf. "my other companions decided to stay in the room so their loss." A gentle laugh escaped when she thought of Croga and Dia in the snow.

[Casandra Lightheart]

She smiled at Inion.

"They might like some water."

She took another sip of her coco and grabbed a treat from the tray.

"Emilia didn't I see you with JonLouis?"

[Inion]

SHe nodded and disappeared in search of bowls for water. Something Croga and Dia would only drink if they had to, though her silly lab had her moments and drank anything.

[Emilia]

She looked at Casandra and smiled.

"I believe there have been a few kisses between us as well as some conversation, he interests me."

[Guest]

Shamus and Joseph came in the Inn still firing snowballs at the Princess as well as Leo and Juliet. They were laughing as they removed their coats and gloves and hats. They shook off all the snow outside the door and hung the items to dry. They headed over to where all the ladies were gathering.

One at a time they leaned over Emilia and kissed her cheek. Then they went to Lady Casandra and took turns kissing her hand before they found themselves places to sit. They were all smiles, but Shamus chose to speak up. "Lady Casandra, I never figured you one for playing in the snow. You looked like you were having fun." He leaned forward and picked up a cookie.

Joseph reached for a small cake before speaking. "Emilia, were we sufficient shields for you?" He took a bite of his cake as he winked at her. They were going to speak to the other lady when she returned, they were always very sociable. They were also waiting for the other three to come in from the cold. Shamus reached down beside him and stroked Kjay's head as he was laying between Casie and himself.

Dalia noticed people going in, so she figured that the fun was over. "Señor Leo, young lady, are you two joining us inside?" She snuck out from behind her bush and was struck with a snowball from the two red haired men. She laughed as she moved towards the Inn. Once inside she removed the bulky pink coat, the pink gloves and the pink snow hat. She shook the snow from them outside the door as well and hung them.

She was now in a pink turtleneck shirt, her pink leggings, and her pink fuzzy boots. She walked over to the fire and found a seat. "Hello everyone. I am Princess Dalia Blackheart. You may call me Princess or Dalia, I will answer to either." She reached forward from the chair and picked up a cookie. She placed just the smallest bit into her mouth and bit some off. Where she was from, cookies and things of that nature did not abound.

[Inion]

Inion returned with the water and placed it down for them. She did notice no one had of yet poured themselves some hot chocolate and so began pouring the brew into the cups "come now drink, hot chocolate is good for the soul." a quick frown "oh darn I almost forgot. " a wave of her hand and a large bowl of marshmallows appeared,
"gotta have marshmallows. Please excuse me while I go fetch the other two."
She moved to the door and shouted out for Juliet and Leo "Juliet come inside now, dont want you to get sick. The snow will be there later. Same goes for you Leo." She watched Juliet run for the inn, moved out of her way but Juliet decided to head upstairs first before stopping for coco. "I'll go change and get Dia she should need to go out." Inion nodded and returned to the bar with everyone else.

[Leo]

He was the last survivor out in the garden, or rather he was last for he had been made a snowman from all the suffered attacks. Somehow he had even managed to loose his brown and beige stripped scarf and had been looking for it. With all the snow and fading light it was probably a lost cause. Maybe someone had found it and carried it inside thinking that he was there.

"Ya voy!"

Making a dash to the door he arrived there moments after Inion left it. "I am here to have the wonderful chocolate, please Inion." There was the collection of people, some he had not met yet. "Hello Princessa. Casandra." Some that were gathered he knew nothing.

Moving to that group he gave a broad wave. "'Elo Señora, and All the Queen's Men. You do work for Venis sí?"

[Casandra Lightheart]

Casie smilied at Leo.

"Hello Leo, have you heard from Marques?"

She was already drinking hot coco.

[Emilia]

Emilia returned the kiss to the cheek from Joseph and Shamus.

"Oh yes you did I barely got hit at all."

She turned to Leo as he walked in and adressed them all.

"Hello but I belive that I would be a senorita as I have never been married."

She gave him a crooked smile and winked at him.

"I like my men to much oh and my name is Emilia."

[Inion]

Inion moved over abit on the couch to allow room for Leo. She was already pouring him a cup of the coco added a few marshmallows. "Oh Leo I found your scraf atleast I think it is yours, its hanging up by my coat." She handed him the cup letting her fingers brush against his for a moment.

Juliet returned but dshed outside with the lab Dia before returning to the warmth of the fire and her own cup of coco. Dia moved to the young girls side and nibbled on the cookies that Juliet was trying to secretly pass to her. For a black lab Dia was somewhat larger but still full of her puppyness as she was only a year old. Every once and a while she would look over at the wolf and the panther her tail wagging. She wouldn't leave Juliet's side until told she could though.

[Guest]

Shamus had stopped petting Kjay when his bowl of water was brought to him. "That was very nice of you ... Inion, right? The lady who made the fudge?" He wasn't certain, but when she had returned he could have sworn he smelt gingerbread. Fresh baked gingerbread.

Joseph chuckled as he saw Shamus trying to catch a whiff of something in the air. He knew what it was that Shamus was doing, he had already gone through this with Keven. But to Joseph, she still smelt like bubble gum. "Inion, did you do all this yourself? Because this cake is delicious." He was smiling.

When the gentleman came in as well, he had called them all the Queens men. They got the joke, even though they were but two. Shamus spoke first. "We are but two of ... All the Queen's men. I am Shamus, and this is Joseph." Joseph smiled as well. "I do like the analogy though. I wonder if Venis will find it as funny. She seems to be in higher spirits lately." They each took a cup of hot cocoa and another treat.

[Inion]

Inion smiled warmly at the two men, grinning slightly as the one was catching her scent. It always made her curious as to what she smiled like to each person, but she never asked. "Yes I am Inion, the fudge lady." Her Irish accent was very musical when she was happy "well Joseph...Right? I did do make everything but with the help of Juliet." At the sound of her name Juliet looked up and blushed, thinking at first she was getting caught giving Dia cookies. "M'lady is teaching me how to cook," she grinned a bit "I do have to say she does have a sweet tooth and loves to bake." Inion leaned forward with a smile on a lips, gave Juliet a playful pinch "cheeky lil' thing."

Shamus smiled. He would ask Joseph later about smelling gingerbread. They looked at Juliet when she spoke and Inion spoke of her and to her. They both smiled. Joseph hadn't noticed her Irish accent as thick before. His own accent was not as thick, but there were hints, even if he spoke differently than most Irishmen.

[Leo]

Leo smiled and chuckled to himself at the comments made by Emilia, Shamus and Joesph as he sat down next to Inion. "Mucho gusto Emilia. Shamus. Joesph." And now, for the next to most important thing at the moment. Coco. A small pinch to her side as he took the cup from her, already the cups heat warming his fingers.

"You would steal my halo but return my scarf?" He laughed at his own comment and took a look to where the scarf hung and then back at her. "I believe it to be in good company." The smile on his lips he drank a bit of the coco. "Mmm it is wonderful. Now, how shall we discuss payment? And I have not been properly introduced to the young one here." Nodding his head to Juliette and her companion.

Casie looked at everyoneand then back to Leo waiting for an answer.

She picked up her cup of coco and took a sip.

"Inion this tastes wonderful."

[Leo]

With the coco promise mixed with the scent of fresh mountain air he had forgotten that Casandra had asked him about the Marqués. That is until he caught sight of her looking in his direction. He quickly started to speak. "Casandra, ya, sí. From our last communication The Marqués is well."

'Well' was good to say for it was true and did not say too much. "I shall tell him that you asked of him."

[Emilia]

Emilia smiled as she leaned forward and took a cup of coco and a small cake. She was in a good mood.

"So who is this Marques? I have heard of him but I have never seen him."
