Emilia saw what was hapenning she wanted to laugh but knew that would make things worse, Leviathan looked at her as if asking for help. She was about to say something to Dalia but before she could Dalia was throwing a snow ball at the over grown house cat. She saw Leviathan bite at the snowball and then roll over exposing her belly.

Emilia walked over to Leviathan and began to rub her belly.

"This is Leviathan, and she is just a big over grown house cat wo wants to play with us in the snow."

Leviathan began to purr when the lady who smelled like JonLouis started to rub her belly. She wiggled a little under the warm hand and moved her tail back and fourth across the ground. The more the nice lady rubbed the louder she purred. It sounded like one long roar as it shook the ground and the ladies both. She closed her eyes and continued to purr. The nice lady called her an over grown house cat. Leviathan had always thought that she was just that. She didn't know that there were people in the world who saw her as anything else. Of course, she was usually with Tasha when she was around people for the first time.

Midnight was bored. She left Venis' room and went to Tasha's. Leviathan wasn't there. Tasha said something about her being outside. Did Tasha really say Levi was playing in the snow? Now this she had to see for herself. She turned and headed for the stairs, instead of back to her room.

She went down to the bottom floor and went to the doors that lead to the garden. Sure enough, there was that crazy cat rolling around in the snow letting some strange woman rub her belly. Midnight shook her head, but it looked more like a twitch because her ear itched or something. She sat down in front of the door and watched. She thought to herself that Levi was nuts.

Kjay was looking out the window into the garden and he saw Levi in the snow. He wanted togo play with her so he walked over to Cassie and whimpered and walked back to the window. When Casie didn't look up from her book he walked back to her again and pulled on the hem of her dress with his mouth and then walked back to the window.

Casie got up and went to the window to see what had Kjay so excited. When she looked out she saw the snowball fight and laughed.

"I guess you want outside, let me get my boots and my cloak."

Kjay was jumping up and down his tail waging fast as he waited for Casie to get ready.

Casie took of her shoes and pulled on her fur lined leather boots and took her cloak of the hook and opened the door. She shut and locked it behind her and headed down the stairs Kjay on her heals.

As soon as they reached the ground floor Kjay took off and out the door into the garden running over Midnight in the process.

*Rrrreeaaarrrrrr ... Hhhsssssssss* That damned dog ran her over. She arched her back and her fur stood on end as she bared her teeth and hissed at him more. Crazy animals, out playing in the snow like wild beasts. Midnight was too refined for such endeavorers. You'd never find her out there playing in the snow. It was cold and wet and she didn't like getting wet, wet lead to dirty. Bah, dirty, Midnight shuddered at the thought. Dirty was for dogs.

Cas reached down and scooped Midnight up in her arms and began to pet her as she walked out into the garden and droped Midnight into a snowbank.

"Spoiled little princess."

Kjay reached Levi and started to jump all over the place. ~Lets play the humans are throwing snow lets get them back~

Midnight started to purr as Lady Casandra picked her up and started petting her. She liked Lady Casandra, she was refined and polite and prim and proper, all the things that Midnight thought herself to be.

But what were they doing now? Outside, in the cold? Oh no, this would never do. But she was safe and warm in Lady Casandra's arms. That was until ... *splat* What in the world?

Midnight was suddenly cold, and getting wet, and the evil white powder surrounded her. Again she was hissing. This couldn't be, Lady Casandra would never drop her in the snow. She jumped up and sprinted for the door to the Inn.

But she didn't stop there, that was too dangerous a location. She ran all the way back up to her room and to her bed. She had some serious bathing to do now. She had gotten dirty and simply would not stand for it. Not to mention she was cold and wet.

Dalia began to crawl forward and reached for the panther. She rubbed upon the cats belly when suddenly there was a wolf there as well. The wolf had been accompanied by a lady. "Do you wish to tell me that that is an over grown house puppy?" She watched the wolf as all her motion froze. She was not going to move. Her attention was diverted by the actual house cat getting dropped into the snow and then running back inside. But she still did not move, no reason to become a wolfs lunch.

Cas smiled at her as she came up beside.

"No that is a wolf."

She laughed.

"But unless you plan on physicly attacking me he is harmless."

She picked up some snow and formed a snowball and threw it as hard as she could in Leo's direction.

Dalia rose to her feet slowly. "Ok, but the other black cat was a house cat?" She stood there for a moment and watched the animals. Then she remembered she was in the middle of a snowball fight, and Leo had gotten her. She bent down and scooped up a snowball and threw it also in Leo's direction. She was fine now, now that she knew the animals were harmless. Well, at least they were at the moment.

Inion watched the animals from above and dived bombed. Refined and proper was not something one was in a snowball fight, princess or not she was a warrior frist and foremost and heck this was all in the spirit of fun. Defending her team she aimed snowballs at those that were tossing them at Leo and one extra for the newest person just in case. In a flash she was in a tree above the little fort again, waiting for the next round.

Levi heard Kjay and Casie. She turned her head and looked. That was when she heard Kjay talking to her. She rolled back over and hopped up to her feet. The humanoids all heard barks and growls and wimpers from him. But she heard him telling her to play in the snow with him. When she spoke to him they would hear hisses and growls and meows of a sort. But to Kjay. ~It's been so much fun, what took you so long to come play? Careful of the pink lady, she is a little scared.~

She hunched down then. Her rear was up for a moment and she was moving her tail through the air. It was an almost canine type movement. Then she lowered down and pounced Kjay, tackling him to the ground. They rolled in the snow. She was nipping at him and growling as she smacked at him with her paws. They had to look like quite the site. They even got caught by a wayward snowball. Levi thought it was hillarious.

It was getting closer to Christmas every day. Soon the men were going to have to start decorating for Santa's Village. But in the mean time, Shamus and Joseph were in the mood for a little fun in the snow. They both put on some jeans and sweaters with their boots and jackets. Then they headed out.

They were brought to a halt for a moment as Midnight came running full speed to Venis' room. They chuckled and headed down the stairs. They reached the bottom floor and headed for the gardens. Once outside they saw some people having a snowball fight.

They had arrived just in time to see Casie get pelted with a snowball. Neither of them could contain their laughter. They ran out into the snow to grab up some snowballs in her defense. Emilia was out there, as was the lovely woman, Inion, who made the fudge that they had all enjoyed with their lunch earlier in the week. That guy who stayed on the third floor, Leo was it? He was there as well. And Inion's little charge, Juliet. There was also a bundle of pink about. But what got them the most was Levi and Kjay playing in the snow. Now that was cute.

Once they both had snowballs at the ready, they threw them. Shamus threw high and Joseph threw low. They were both blindly aiming in the general direction from which the snowball that had hit Casie came. But they didn't wait for hits or misses. They fired again. They were making snowballs and firing them off in all directions. It didn't matter to them who they hit, they were just diving for cover and firing.

What was this Casie has been hit with a snow ball while her back was turned. She laughed as she saw Joseph and Shamus Throwing snow balls back. Well She had already been hit once so she made a few snowballs ans threw then in the direction of the fort.

~Levi this is fun~ He rolled with her in th snow for a while before he got hit with a snowball from the fort. ~Isn't that were the first snowball to hit my human came from?~ He was covered in a thick coating of snow by now.

Leviathan was having a lot of fun. And she too was covered in snow again. ~Yea, come on, there's a way in. Let's so soak them in a snow shower.~ She left Kjay and stalked towards the fort. She hoped he would follow.

Inion watched the two playful animals making thier way toward the fort and her team mates, but since she was paying attention to them she failed to notice the newest fighters on the field and was hit by one of the high snowballs, knocking her from the branch she was on. She didn't have time to catch herself and fell on the ground with a soft thud. Thank god there was alot of snow and it was a short fall, nothing was broken. So there she lay covered in snow laughing. Juliet peeked over the wall to look at her and noticed the large cat and dog coming at them, she nudged Leo and pointed to them.

Emilia ran and his behind Joseph and Shamus. She began making snowballs and handing them to the men.

"Hello sexys."

She smiled at them.

"Mind if I use you two for a shield?"

(I should have been knowing that a score of post would happen while I was gone. Jeje)

Things seemed to suddenly change in the outcome of the snowball war. There were more guys on the field now so he was not the only one, and there were also two large cats rolling around. Leo was spending a deal of time ducking and dodging the snowballs that came flying in the direction of the fort, and sending back good ones of his own in trying to prevent Inion and the little Juliette from too many attacks.

Then Inion nudged him and he understood. The large cats must be brought down! Working quickly in the snow he patted together a few snowballs into a bigger one. Using both hands he started to hurl them over his head and at the animals. Good thing it was only snow.

Kjay got down in a crouch to, well sort of a crouch his tailend was sticking up. ~A way in~ He crawled along after Levi.

Cas was fireing snowballs in all directions she didn't ned a team she pelted anyone withn rangeas fast as she could make the snowballs.

Emilia was behind them now and throwing snowballs from behind them. This made Shamus and Joseph laugh even harder. The Princess was stranded out on the field, so was Casie, so the two men opened fire. When they saw Leo throw the larger snowball at Levi and Kjay they pelted him too.

What was this, Dalia was standing out in the open, this was a problem. She was getting pelted. She looked around, there was not a lot of places to hide. So she moved to behind the nearest bush and began to throw snowballs at everyone else. Dalia could not remember the last time she had enjoyed herself more. With the exception of when she was with Zeph. She loved spending time with Zeph.

Leviathan had been stalking along headed to the fort. Kjay was right behind her. The next thing she knew a large snowball was crashing dow upon her back. It was big enough to cause her to lay flat on her stomach for a moment. ~You ok back there Kjay? Now I have even more snow on my back for this sneak attack.~ She rose back up to her hunched down possition and returned to her task of crawling for the fort, wolf in tow.

THUMP Kjay was hit too he was about to shake it off but just left it there when he heard Levi ~I'm ok and seem to have more snow too.~ He rose back into a crouch as well or as good as a canine was going to get and followed close there were snowballs flying over the top of them. some droping onto them giving them more snow on thier backs.

Inion stood up and shook off the snow from her wings and started launching the snowballs she had left in her bag. She was taking a few hits standing out in the open but she didnt care she was having way too much fun. Though she was thinking that it might be time for her to slip back into the inn and get the hot chocolate ready for when everyone was ready to warm up. Slipping behind the wall of the fort she tapped Juliet and Leo on the shoulder and whispered to them to get them to cover her retreat to the inn.

The pretty fairy lady was distracting Levi and Kjay's targets. ~It's right here Kjay.~ She rounded the corner with Kjay behind her and she was behind the wall of defense. She moved forward enough to allow Kjay in and then she shook like a dog sending snow all over those who were there. Once she was no longer covered in snow, but they were she darted from the fort and ran for cover beind some bushes.
