She took the step back to bow ever so slightly. " Trindala Do Sant, Trin for short if it pleases you." A nod fallowed that up. " Dre." Her tone was odd when she said his name a hint of dark entent. Her black eyes down cast on the Fairy and she nodded to her. " Well meet. Kyra."

She gave a half smile and a nod to Trina and then looks back to Dre as her legs hang off the side of the counter and she dangles them like a bored child. She speaks her wings still fluttering as she tries to lighten the mood.

"So....what's next.....boss?"

She flashes him one of those cheesy I'm up to something grins.

Trin figured that when she was needed to do something she would be called to accomadate the request so she walked out the front door and was seen leaning up agains the building.

He looked from Trin to Kyra and back. Well he was off to good start, that was for sure. he heard Kyra, and saw that smile and had to chuckle.

"First we find that water source. Think you can do that? Then I will let you set up here as you see fit. Paperwork only though. You will be handling the orders and getting them down to me, Trin, and whom ever is also down there. But first the water source."

"Trin you have the front. Take orders and half the money now. Any wishing to work, keep her until I get back."

He motioned for Kyra to lead the way as he directed her.

She nodded to him sure she could find the water and wonderd if this was anything like the analogy that you can't lead a horse to water and well he was as big as a horse...she shrugged and out the front door she went not sure if he was behind her or not. She sensed water all around them and continued on but stopped periodically trying to gain her boundaries and her senses as to whether or not it was the water he was asking for. She was still learning her skills but never wanted to dissappoint someone. She started and stopped like this until she was sure she had what she seeked. After what seemed like hours she finally stopped almost where she began but this time behind the forge. She spoke softly and a little shy.

"I believe this is the area with the water you asked for but I can't be a 100% sure until you dig."

He nodded to her and then went and got some of the construction crew. They began to dig just enough until the water was trickling up, when a small steady pool was there he had them stop and step back. He let her approach so she would be a hundred percent sure. The crew already planning on how to get it downstairs where it needed to be.

It didn't take her long to realize she didn't find what he was looking for but she was sure it was close. She stood there dejected for several moments before looking up at him with a sad look in her eyes hoping he wouldn't be angry with her. She spoke with that sadness in her voice.

"It's not here but it's close. Is there a way we can get directly underneath here without having to dig through to get there?"

She waited for his answer.

He stopped and looked at her, nodding his head as he heard what she said. He told the crew to hold off and then turned to Kyra.


"First, cheer up. You may not have found what we were looking for, but we can make this into a trough for horses and such. Maybe a pump in case there is a fire or such. I am sure you can ask it what it would like to be best used for. These males here can build almost anything that requires stone and such."

He winked at her to show he was not mad at her in the least. Then spoke to her once more.

"Yes we can get underground. That is where the forge itself is. You think maybe that will help you find it all?"

He was curious as to how this was going to work.

She tried her best to cheer up but hated to dissappoint someone that needed something done. Before speaking she turned and leaned down to touch the water and closed her eyes. The water seemed to speak to her in the form of ripples and small waves around her hand. She finally smiled and giggled as she opened her eyes and removed her hand from the water as it had already stilled once more. She stood up and then looked up at Dre. She spoke once again.

"It would like to be used as a watering whole for animals and then it will be here in case of a fire. It also let me know how the water around here is. If we go straight down the water will be exactly what we are needing."

He smiled and nodded. Turning to the males that were there he said, "You heard the lass. A watering hole for the animals. Make sure you leave enough room for the fire brigade."

He nodded satisfied it was gonna get done, then headed off. Leading Kyra back into the forge and down steps that only employees would see. As it seemed they walked through a gate of fire. Down the steps they went, the air getting cooler until they were at the forge.

It was lit with small fires, as work had not begun yet. He looked at her and motioned. Letting her know this was her show now. Their were more workers down here and he knew they as well could build what she wanted.

"Just let them know where and what to build Kyra,' He said and stood back arms crossed.

She stood there for a moment wondering how she was going to get what they needed. She looked at the group of men that stood in front of her ready to dig and spoke softly.

"Can you dig a little right here so we can see if this is the spot?"

Her question was a bit timid as she never asked other people to do work like this.

After a bunch of ye ma'ams the men begun to dig right where she indicated. They stopped right as some water came up and then stepped aside. Waiting for her to tell them what she needed next.

Dre stood behind her with a smile on his face and a nod. She would work out after all.

She smiled as she saw the water and went over to it leaning down to touch the water with her hand. The water rippled like it had before but this time she jumped up quickly in fits of giggles. She turned to the men and giving more instructions.

"We need pumps of some sort right here. This is it."

She stopped herself as she realized what she was doing. Her eyes were wide as if she was caught red handed with her hand in the cookie jar. She slowly turned to Dre but didn't speak.

He chuckled, "There you go Kyra. A natural woman. Ready to boss men around." He gave her a wink.

"But what we need is a way for the water to run. We will be plunging hot metal into it. Also is there a way of not contaminating it. Umm making it sick," he thought he throw that in just to be safe. "If we can keep it cycling and running maybe we can catch the bigger parts of the metals, but we need somethgn to keep it pure. Ideas?"

She smiled sheepishly at him for the comment about bossing men around. She wasn't sure she should be doing such a thing but could deal with that later. She stood there listening to what he was saying and began thinking about it. She wasn't sure what they needed. She thought maybe she had an idea.

"Well what if we had a large basen that constantly filled with water. Like a cycle where it keeps going around and around."

She motioned with her hands what she was meaning. She didn't know if it would work but it was worth the effort.

He thought about it and looked at the builders, they had nodded that it might work. He looked at her and nodded.

"Well, Kyra, just tell the men where you think things should be built. Three of those cycles of water should work I think. Just remember has to cover the forge totally. Anywhere you see an anvil. Good work by the way."

He winked and smiled at her again.

She smiled up at him and began to work. She went off with her instructions and began showing the men where to place everything. After she finished letting them know where everything goes she turned around to see if he was still there. If he wasn't she was going to go off to see if there is something else he wanted her to start doing. She liked staying busy and was hoping that once all was said and done she could ask him for a favor.

He was there watching her and seeing how she handled others. It would be important for her job. he agreed with all the things she had said and only a couple of minor things. She was good, and a fast thinker. She would work out fine here.

He wondered how she was with money and such, as that was also part of her job. He saw her looking for him and waved a clawed hand at her.

She saw him wave to her so she went over to him and began to speak a little bit like a hyper active child.

"Hey boss Dre, is there anything else I need to do?"

She smiled cheesy like up at him.

He had to take a moment to understand her. Then nodded.

"You can get the paperwork set up n such a way as everything can be found in a flash. then ,ake sure these guys do things to your liking."

he nodded and smiled back cheesily at her. He began to walk forward and forgot she was there, his mind instantly going to other things. he stopped just in time, then backed up as he realized she was under his loincloth.

"Umm sorry, was distracted for a sec. Off with you. "

She nodded to him with a smile in regard to his instructions. Before she even had a chance to move she was hit in the head with something large and hard. She looked up and realized in an instance that it was his... Her eyes were wide as she never seen such a sight and from shock that she was hit in the head with it. Without a word and her eyes still wide she hurried off to do her work. She was having a hard time shaking the picture out of her head so she just sat there with her eyes closed trying to meditate. To anyone who came up to her it would look as if she were sleeping on the job.

He came up later to see Kyra sitting at the desk. She looked like she was asleep. He reached out with a hand and shook her.

"You alright lass? I working you to hard?" He hoped he did not startle her to bad, "Kyra about earlier. i am sorry. Should have been paying attention. Are you alright?"

Her eyes shought open as she heard his voice she was a little startled but not to bad since she was not sleeping. Her face began to blush. She spoke nervously.

"I wasn't sleeping honest....I was just meditating. Im ok and no you arent working me to hard. Everythings ok."

She was partially lying and she was pretty sure he would know it. She didnt want to come out and say she was really embarrassed and intrigued at the same time.

He cocked his head (no folks not that head) and looked at her.

"Take off for now," He said as he reached into a hidden hole and pulled out a few coins. "Get yourself some food, and rest. Be back here at dawn. We will work more on the paperwork then and you can make sure the men are doing things as you wish it to be done. now no arguing with the boss."

he thought for a moment and handed her a few more coins, "Split it with Trin and tell her to be her at dawn as well. So we can work on things. IF you get bored, think of a pricing guide for mundane items. Like horseshoes and such."

He handed her a booklet, "Guard that. That lists our metals so you get an idea. Any questions ask me I am staying here. "With that he wrote down the inns name and his room number

She nodded taking the coins, the book and the paper he wrote stuff down on. She walked outside and seen Trin leaning up against the building and handed over her share of the coins and gave her Dre's instructions.

"Dre said to be get some food, rest and be back at dawn so we can work on some things."

With that she headed off to the inn to get some food.
