Re: Looking for the forge
She woke up bright and early as was usually the norm for her and got herself prepared for the day. Her attire was pretty simple a pair of black pants and a blue shirt to match her eyes with black shoes. She had seen a sign that said something about work so she decided to go off in search of this place and see if she could talk to the owner of it. She finally found the place she was looking for and went to what she hoped was the door and knocked as loud as she could.

Re: Looking for the forge
Hearing the banging he went and opened the door. Standing as tall as he did he forgets to look down. His scaley form filled the doorway as he opened it, he was dressed in his normal loincloth attire. Red orbs looking out as he opens it.
"No need to pound. We have not started working yet..." He stops as he see no one there. "Not funny. Who pounded on the door?"

Re: Looking for the forge
She just looked up and her wings began to flutter in nervousness. She never seen such a sight (and no folks she is not looking up his loin cloth either). She began to back up slowly and spoke slowly and nervously.
"Ummm....nev..nevermind sir. I...I..."
Getting a good view of what she was looking at she fainted there on the spot. She had never come in contact with whatever it is he was plus the fact that when she gets nervous she tends to stop breathing some.

Re: Looking for the forge
He heard someone talking just in time to see a little one fall before him. It took him a moment to realize it was a faerie and that he must have startled her. Smiling he bent gently and picked her up.
Leaving the door open, he brought her inside and set her down on some of the seats there. He figure it was not best to wake her, so he went behind the counter to work on some paperwork. He still had to find some kind of water source.
Seeing her reminded him that he needed things in here to accommodate all sizes of beings. He would have to get to work on that. He really needed a clerk and an accountant and some runners. Well he needed a lot of things.

Kyra wakes up a few moments and looks up and around slowly trying to figure out where she was. Maybe she was inside the belly of that thing that answered the door who knew. She didn't feel dead and she was sure she would notice that one or she hoped she would. She sat up slowly not wanting to make any sudden movements. Her wings still fluttering from nerves...her voice came out clear as she spoke.
"Hello...anyone here?"

He looked up from his paper work.
"Ah. You are awake. Not often a faerie drops outside my workplace. In fact it has never happened before. Now Little One. What can I do for you?"
He smiled, but maybe that was the wrong thing to do as it showed all his teeth. He had a goblin arm stuck in his teeth that he did not know about. That arm seemed to wave hello to her as he talked and such.

Re: Looking for the forge
Trindala walked down the street looking for a place that could fix armor. sure she could do this her self but she was short a few tools and most of all a forge to do it all in. Well what luck she had that too her right was the Fires of hades. That mass of black robes shurged before she simply entered. The hodded shadow stopped in the door way and looked up. She didn't hit her head ont he door frame for once? A metalic giggle was herd under the cloth and she reached a hand up to pat the frame with her open hand.
Now inside she looked back at the door. Hell it was open when she got here so she left it that way. in her left hand was a chest plate. The metal was black but as glossy as freash paint.

Re: Looking for the forge
She went as white as she could without turning invisible at the arm hanging from his mouth. She sat perfectly still like a statue for several moments wondering if she was going to be lunch and if so what her chances of escaping before he caught her. She finally spoke.
"I..umm...was going to ask about a job."
She hid her face behind her hands and peeked in between two of them (yes just like women and children usually do during scary parts that they know they should not see but are just dying to see it anyway) not sure if he was going to be angry at her request or what he would do for that matter.

He looked at her and smiled again. Then heard her request. he literally jumped up.
"That is great news. You are the first to inquire. What is you would like to do/ Oh wait. You are a faerie right? Would you happen to be good at one element over the others?"

That hallowed hood looked between the two, first the fae then the Daconic indavidual. Seeing how she was not the only one here for something she waited pressing her back again the wall to lean on it which inturn made a click sound.

Re: Looking for the forge
She screams when he jumps up and flies as quickly as her little wings can take her to hide behind something that would protect her which happened to be the one who walked in. She peeked out from behind the person but ducked back behind. Someone would think she was playing peek a boo. She was panting out of fear and also she doesn't usually fly cause where she came from they didn't like faeries so they made them slaves and if they agreed not to fly then they got to keep their wings but if they were caught flying they would get cut off. She never actually saw a wingless fairy but she wasn't willing to take chances with hers. She finally peeked back around and spoke to answer his question.
"I'm a water fairy and I'm also good and taking orders."
She was good at taking orders in fact she was given a list taller than her daily of tasks that had to be done before she could eat.

He watches her fly off, and then get smushed. he winces and thinks ~OOH that's gotta hurt~. The newcomer was one cool character, he would give them that.
Hhe looked at first one then the other. "A clerk I need and maybe someone who can find me a ready supply of water underground. The purer the better and be nice if it was running water. Could you even set something up so that it stays that way, no matter the metal we put into it."
he looked to the rags and spoke again. "I do not ask this often, but would ask that I see the face that i speak to. It is a protection thing. And how can I help you? Am not open yet, but am sure something can be worked out. Or do you have other business." That arm just a flapping and wavinghello.

Re: Looking for the forge
one of Trin's great wings unfolded from her robes and pushed the fae back out into the open. The wing was damaged torn full of holes. All of which where healed now but anyone could see that this Creatuer no longer flew.
She steped past the Fairy and as she did that one wing flapped before escaping back under her robes. Her free hand moved up then psuhing her hood down tell her main of white locks fell from its shadows. black eyes scaned along the Beaties form before her entier face come into veiw. White skin and a young face with dark crimson lips.
"Feeling at ease now?" She asked placing her chest plate on the counter between them.

"A bit. One never knows when one comes for a Dance." He looks to the faerie and motions her to come to the counter as well.
"Nice chest piece?" He says looking at it. "Needing it repaired?"
He looked to the water faerie and nodded to a booklet of order forms.

Re: Looking for the forge
She looked over at the Fairy and smiled as sweetly as one can with a mouth full of sharp teeth. and patted the counter beside the two massive beings. Looking back at Dreconis she nodded her brows rising. She hunched over the peice and pointed out a fair line fracture in the abdomun of the plate. " A patch however...I don't want a front tac even a skilled whelder never makes it look flush to the rest of it...I was thinking you could seal it from the back. However you might need to but a few ribs of metal to keep it from flawing anymore so than it has." It was small yes but it was clear that to trin it was critical. And noone wore armor like this anymore. It was out dated but so was trin.

Re: Looking for the forge
A person who knew a thing or three about armour. He looked at it and cocked his head.
"Nice craftsmanship. Good material." He muttered on and one then looked at her. "What if I were to tell you none of that was needed."
He looked it over some more and nodded. he could do it. "I am short of staff right now. But I can definitely do it for you. A week to get staffed and this will be the first item up. Acceptable?"

Re: Looking for the forge
She stood up when he took the armor from the counter and knocked on the counter twice her brows low in thought. She was in a hurry to get it finished but then she remmebered she wasn't in her own time anymore....What did she need it done so quickly for? She wasn't hired help anymore and she clearly had no bounty on her head...at lest not of yet.
She nodded but said nothing disapointment was written on her featuers but it wasn't about the date of completion. No, it was something eles something unspoken. " Payment?" She asked in a steely tone.

Re: Looking for the forge
Getting pushed back to the open door she decided it best if she stayed put letting the two talk. She never knows when she is going to be lunch. She was easily scared and felt it in her best interest to stay put. She just simply shook her head as she settled back on the ground to give her wings a rest.

"Depends if you want me to restrengthen this. But I would say..." he looked at it "50 gold. half now, half when completed. Which as I said depends on how soon I get the help I need."
he looked at the Faeire. "if you wish the job, time to learn how to do it. It is your call. we can talk more about the rest in a bit. But first this must be taken care of."

Re: Looking for the forge
The lady of white found her self staring at the counter top and shook her head looking back up to Dreconis. "If your looking for some to work the forges along side you and won't complain about back breaking work and sculding heat. I would take a posistion here as will....However I ask that I not be paid for my work done here. And I still wish to pay you the twenety-five gold now for the work on the chest." She looked over his shoulder towards the back area of the shop. He likely wasn't use to someone being tall enough to look over him.

He smiled as he looked her right in the eye, since they are the same height and all.
"I do need smiths. But I have a rule, you create it you get credit for it. Which means you get paid for it. Now that is a percentage of everything you make, as I do have other things to buy and such. But that is the rule and if you work here, this job is done at half price. So 25 is all it costs you.
"Little one make note of that will you."
He said to them both, "Pay we can discuss later, if you wish."
"By the way. I am Dreconis. but if you work here you clal me Dre or Beastie." he offered a scaley hand to both.

Re: Looking for the forge
Sense Trin was the only one near she took the hand up in her own. Her black gauntlet was abnormaly cold within his grasp and being shook. She let go soon after the hand shake and took a step back so that the fairy would have her well deserved chance to mingel. she didn't say her name, forgot to maybe.

She walked over to the counter timidly but did her best to remember what he had said and then floated up to sit on the counter so she could see them both. She did her best to not be scared but still she was. She looked at the armor curiously. She never worked in a place like this but she knew a few that had. She looked at him and offered her hand back to him knowing it to be a polite gesture.
