She was still tyring to figure out what a grill was when Dre wacked her. It took everything for Krys had in her not to drop to the floor when Dre smacked her shins with his tail. Even though it had been years since he had. She took her foot and stomped on the end of his tail.

"Dre are you just gonna stand there or introduce us to your friend."

He turned, cringing a little at the stomp on his tail, and looked at Krystal.

"Maybe." He said as he stomped on her foot with his.

He grinned. "Ladies, this is Zephyr 'Stormbringer' Eurus. No I will not tell you why he is called Stormbringer, that you will have to find out for yourself as I did. But I will tell you, that it would be best to call him Zeph or Stormbringer. "

"Zeph, meet my sister Krystal. Who is even more wool-headed then you are and loves being hit with nerf bats it seems. And my birth mother, Venis. You think I have a hot temper." He laughed at that and was ready to field the questions that he thought Zeph might ask.

He looked from one lady to the other. He then nowed his head as he was taught.

"Aye, du be callin me Zeph or Stormbringer. It du be yer choice. I du be sorry iffen I du be speakin in what du be a way that du be hard tu be understandin."

He looked at the ladies and once again thought about what he had heard. Beastie had a family outside of Sheena? How was that possible? He let it go. It was none of his concern and it would just hurt his brain to much thinking about it.

"It du be an honour lasses. i du be hopin the Winds du be favorin ye."

Krys held her breath for a second, at the somp ofher own foot. She smiled smiled at Zeph. "It's a pleasure to meet you Zeph. How long have you known scaley arse here." She would have said something else smart to Dre, but the look he had just givin her and the mention of the Nerf bat, made her keep her mouth shut. She would get him at another time.

"I du be knowin him fer a while. We ded be doin many jobs tugether."

He nodded.

"It just du be a while sense last we ded be seein each other. The last job we ded be takin, ded nae be so gud. We ded be lied tu and cheated. Beastie here ded be takin the worse of it tu be protectin me and Kitty Kat. They ded be duin sum rough things tu be him. It du be gud tu be havin a friend like him. Especially when most du be seein ye as lunch."

So Dre had been busy the past few years. She smiled at her brother and Zeph"Yeah Dre can be a hot head, but he has a good heart."

"Bah! With the family I have, who can blame me for having a temper. I mean look at Miss I-Burst-Into-Flames-When-Pissed over there. And all I do is what needs to be done. Nothing more or less. I do not go to all the fancy parties and such you do Krystal. Leave all that arse smoochin to you. Which reminds me. Did your lips get bigger?"

He chuckled and winked at her.

Krys rolled her eyes."For your information brother, all those parties I have been going to, all those arses you claim I have been smootchin, was my way of finding information on Mom while she was gone. For some reason I was kept out of the loop." Krys could feel her temper rising. "You know I'm not some dumb kid anymore, and I really wish you would stop treating me as such!"

Venis had done as her son had requested. Now she was sitting there watching in amusement. "Alright you two, that's enough. Let's try to act civilized in front of company please. Welcome Zeph, please come in and join us." She smiled as she sat up straighter and crossed her left leg over her right. She folded her hands in her lap and smiled again.

He looked at his mom and smirked,"She started it, besides it is not company. It is Zeph. Trust me, the world could not handle a company of him." He smirked and had that look of someone who knew something others did not.

He looked from Krystal to Dre. If he had not known Dre for so long, he would have sworn that these two were married. He shuddered at that, scary. He did not know if there was a woman out there that could tame him. Though he knew a few who tried, and once there were two that tried at once.

He heard the voice and his head snapped up to it. Yep, if he was around the Beastie then one had to have good reflexes. Nodding his head, a few of those white strands of hair falling before his icy blues, and took a step in. The first thing that would be noticed is, he made no sound when he walked. Well that and the brand of course. His body like snow across a glacier.

"I du be thank ye." He said, a smile flashing across his face. He actually smacked the Beastie. "Iffen the world du nae be able tu be handlin moor of me, then what du ye be thinkin that lasses du be able tu be handlin moor of ye? Du I need tu be embrassin ye here wit the tale of the jealous men that did be drivin ye out just fer sticking out yer Wind Blasted tongue at married lasses?"

He stepped in more, looking around. He nodded his head as he saw how defensible it was. But yet he had a feeling someone would be a fool to attack these ladies here. He remembered how well the three of them use to work together. Each complimenting the others tactics. He wondered what would happen now that Kat was gone.

"It du be a pleasure tu be meetin ye both. Ded be nae knowin Dre ded be havin a family outside of the lass that du be named Sheena."

Krys took a deep breath and lowered her tone. "Sorry Mom, sorry Zeph, sorry Dre. She went and sat beside her mother.

"So what brings you to town Zeph?"

She chuckled at her son's comment. When her daughter came to sit beside her she reached over and patted her hand. "How is your dear step-mother Dre?"

"She is good. Lonely and angry and confused. I honestly have not seen her in a long while. it has been hard. I think she blames me. And mother, she is as much my mother as you are. You gave birth she raised me." He smiled to take any sting out of anything if there was any.

"Besides you wanted to meet Zeph not talk about me."

Venis smiled at her son, there was no sting, she simply said step-mother so that Zeph would be less confused. She could see the confusion on his face over Dre having two mothers. "I know sweety. Could you see if you could get a message to her for me, if she can be found that is? I'm going to have a dinner sometime after Halloween, before Thanksgiving. I would love for her to join us." Venis really did like Sheena.

She then turned her attention to Zeph. "So, Zeph, please come in and have a seat. Your mark on your back, it is interesting. Would you mind telling me about it?" She wasn't sure if it was something he wanted to talk about. But she was curious.

"I will see what I can do. I am not sure if she is up for traveling, but it gives me a reason to go see her soon." He smiled at that thought. "Who knows, maybe with all the half naked men running around she may even smile once more."

He moved over so Zeph could get in, wincing slightly at the mention of the brand. It was Zeph's tale, so he would let him tell it how he saw fit.

Krys started to make a comment about scaley people in loin cloths, but she didn't feel like arguing with Dre at the moment. "Can I get someone something to drink?"

He moved in nodding, it would be good to see Sheena once more. He did seem to get along better with elves. He sat down, a little ways from them. Well sit was not the word, he pulled a Beastie and crouched down. He stayed close to the door and had his back to the corner. Old habits die hard and he had a good teacher.

"Iffen it du be possible, I du be wishin sum water. I du nae be intu the drinkin of the spirtis that hast past on." Which showed what he thought strong drinks were.

At the mention of his brand, he would nod and turn so that Venis could see it. It was an unhealed brand and festering. It was of the letters Z and E. Clearly marked and seen, strange thing about it was that it looked like it had been done just recently. Yet the skin around it was old, like this was an ancient wound.

He turned back and got a far off look. "It du be a reminder of who I du be. It du be a reminder of what I du be able tu be duin. it du be a reminder of what I can nae be. It du be a reminder of were i du be from and the price I ded be payin fer leavin there. There du be gods that du be angry iffen ye du nae be scarficed tu them. And iffen ye try tu be leavin, there du be a price. Which du be the last thing it du be. A reminder that there du be a price fer all things one du be doin. Nae matter how great or how small the choice du be."

"It often amazed folks that for being a simpleton, or appearing as such, he often had great insight. he learned long ago, if you act dumb more people said things around you then they would normally. People always seemed around those they considered inferior or dumb.

She smiled at Krys. "Honey, there is a flask in my top drawer of my nightstand, if you don't mind?" She listened to Zeph's tale, smiling at he fact that he squatted down just like Dre. She heard him explain everything and was quite intrigued. "So those God's, they would be Zephyr and Eurus? Don't believe I've had the honor." She didn't know all the God's but she knew a lot of them. "Have you ever wanted it removed or healed?" She would offer if he did, but some people liked their scars.

He nodded. "Aye that du be them. I du be bearin their name as I ded be birthed durin what du be one of their worst Dances e'er. They ded be tryin tu be killin me. I ded nae wish tu be a pawn. I ded be suppose tu be sacrificed."

Well before he knew it he had told it all, his entire history (posted here on the boards if interested). He even let it slip that the brand could not be healed. It was to remain a festering mess for as long as he lives. But he also explained, that he was glad of it. It was a reminder of what where he could not go and where he had come from. It also reminded him that gods are cruel and petty, just as most races were. That one could not rise above their station. but also that one could fight Fate herself.

Venis nodded as she listened. "I am so glad that not all Gods act that way. Someone wanted to sacrifice a man in my name once, I threatened to strike them down if they did. I hate ritual sacrifice." She left it at that. She didn't want to sound preachy. "So tell me Zeph. How did you come to end up running the streets with my son?" She smiled. She had never met any of his friends before and she was so happy to be getting to do so.

Krys got up form beside her mother, and fixed Zeph some water, and retreived her mothers flask from the top drawer of the nightstand. She handed Zeph his water, and her Mothter her flask."Dre, do you want anything while I'm up?"

He shrugged at the god comment. No he did not know what Dre was, but his eyes did go wide when she implied she was a goddess. He relaxed when she asked about Dre.

"That du be easy. I ded be servin him as a Dancer when he ded be King and ded be havin tu Queens. There ded be a fallin out, a neighborin rulin body ded be accusin the Beastie of stealin. He ded be denyin it, but one of his wives ded be takin the word of the others o'er Beastie. he ded be high tailin it out of there though he ded be leavin a kingdom he ded be helpin tu be buildin from the ground up. I ded be taggin by his side. So we ded be duin odd jobs. Ded be destoryin this town and killin this offical. Ded be causin chaos here and ded be bringin order there. Trainin Dancers and Dancin ourselves. We ded be duin what we ded be needin tu be survivin."

One look at Beastie told him he had said waaaaaaay to much. So he shut up fast.

He was about to say yes, when he heard what all Zeph was saying. His mouth went dry and he thought for sure all hell was about to break loose. he actually began to tense up. He shook his head at Krystal and said softly. "No." Edging towards the door slightly.

Krystal saw Dre tense up, and back away a bit. She looked at him, then Zeph, then her mother, then back to Dre. She raised her right eyebrow at her brother.
