A 'Storm' is Brewing Empty A 'Storm' is Brewing

What a long strange trip she had. Leap over fire, find the dragon in a cave in the middle of no where. That was just the beginning, it would take a long time to tell everything in one sitting. And to make matters worse she was no closer to finding out what happened to her then she was when she started out on the trip. And man did she feel awful about up and leaving yet again ... but the guy with the weird voice and the pale smoke all around him said go, and go she did. Anyone that knows Ravyne knows she desperately wants to find the arses that brought her to this strange world, not because she doesn't like it here, she wouldn't trade her life here for anything, but because she wanted revenge for actually being able to one up her on Earth.

Up the steps of the Inn she did climb, pausing for a moment outside the doors to allow those eyes of hers to glance around. Left hand moved to brush against the chains hanging from the belt loops of her baggy jeans, that wicked little grin spreading quickly across her lips. Right hand lifted to push open the door, sneaker covered feet now taking her inside and to the counter. Ravyne sighed a bit and glanced around once more ... her sons where here somewhere. Her and Kyle both had some explaining to do, maybe her more so then Kyle. Both hands moved to allow fingers to drum lightly on the desk, dark eyes catching sight of the ring on her finger. Another sigh, how much did she screw up this time? Right hand moved to turn the ring on her finger. Hopefully not to much. But she'd take whatever comes, good or bad. Bad though she may not be around to long.

Being subjugated to such a remedial task such as keeping an eye on the front desk was not this cats meow; it can be insanely dull. He had been to Inns in his travels that were a hub-bub of activity, people were always checking in or out and the chatter from the bar area was a constant buzz.

Not here.

Not at the Tel'Ranaemyn Inn.

It had it's spurts but, for the most could be considered quiet. That was fine. It only meant that when people came around they were often given attention. Wasn't Ravyne the lucky one to be given attention by this particular orange and black stripped cat.

He wasn't in plain sight - that's why she didn't see him when she came in, he was laying on the shelf under the desk. Catching a cat-nap. A nap that was disturbed with the tapping of the finger on the wood above him. (What was he even doing at the Inn?) Still, this cat took his time, stretching out his front and then hind legs before he reached for the top ledge and pulled himself up. The size of an average house-cat, he was anything but and, when he saw who had disturbed his nap, a Cherise grin split his face.

A taunting purr rolled in the back of the cats throat as he positioned himself in the center of the desk, his tail lazily swaying across the wood. "Who do we have, merow, here?"

He knew her. Would she remember him?

Dark eyes saw the cat just before he spoke. Something was very familure about the furball, but that again didn't most cats look alike to some degree? Well ... they all do until they speak to you. Wicked little grin crossed her dark lips when she heard Tyger speak. " Never thought I'd see you again, doll. Does that mean Mother and/or Air are hangin' around here somewhere?"

Ravyne's hand, the one that had been drumming against the counter and woken the cat from his nap, moved to attempt to pet Tyger on the head, if he would allow it of course. If the pet was allowed she would continue it for as long as he would let her. Meanwhile, those dark eyes of hers left the cat for a moment to take a look around the bottom floor of the Inn. If her boys where here, she got a feeling this would be the best place for them. With Mother possibly here and Angel saying something about coming here, Ravyne was sure nether one of them would let anything bad happen to them.

"Seems kinda quite around here. Maybe it's time for a bit of the 'Storm's' touch? Whatch'a think Tyger?" Wicked grin was back on those dark lips as she looked back to the furball. Was she kidding? With Ravyne you could never really be to sure.

"I suggest you get to work. Mew." As he spoke his tail rose up and the end swept across Ravyne's lower arm in a single motion, down from the area of her elbow and towards the wrist before returning to its place alongside the feline. It was a simple touch and yet some may think it invading. It was the type of touch that prickled the skin and caused a persons hair to rise, or make them want to rub and scratch the area as a lingering effect of the touch is often continually felt.

Tyger turned his head to the side, directing the hand she was using to scratch him in the proper place behind his ears - if she was going to do the act, then it had to be done right. Front paws stretched out and the tip of his sharp claws peeked through his fur and tapped lightly on the wood before they retracted. This cat was studying her and the Cherise grin he wore began to turn impish. He studied the way she stood and the small idiosyncrasies that came with standing still. The movement of her eyes down to the pressure of her fingers on his fur. This was no ordinary house cat, but what set him apart was not for public record.

As for the wereabouts of his Master, that wasn't for the record either. Therefore, he stuck with talking about her and why she was here.

Slowly, he moved his head from her fingers. Not just anyone could pet him and even fewer could do so for very long. "Storms come and go as they please, murr. They don't ask for permission." Sitting up straight he used his right paw to wipe the side of his face.

If she was here to cause trouble, then she should be about it.

Scratch, scratch. Hand, that wasn't petting Tyger behind the ears, moved to scratch lightly along the trail his tail took on her arm. Ravyne listened to what he had to say and it was all very true. " I wasn't really asking permission Doll. Just wanted your thoughts on the subject. Ya know, I don't wanna be kicked out on my rear for a little bit of trouble. Though that's really never stopped me before."

When he moved his head, she let her hand fall back to the counter top. A little sigh and a bit of a pout on her dark lips. " But I should find my boys first and get all my stuff in order before I start on any trouble. " Just before she started to sound to motherly she laughed softly, that wicked grin quickly replacing the light pout on her lips. "Knowing my luck and the way things have been going for me, trouble just may find me while I'm looking for the boys. " A little roll of her shoulders was given then. Her 'whatever' move, like she really cared if there was trouble. The girl practically lived for it before, and that wasn't going to change any time soon.

Of course she noticed that Tyger didn't answer her question about Air or Mother, obviously he couldn't tell her one way or the other. If they where around Ravyne was sure she'd bump into one, the other or both at some point during her stay. How ever long that would end up being.

This cat never answered anything that he didn't feel like answering, and sometimes that could be a lot. He would without something from someone - even if it wasn't important - just because he could. There was almost a laugh from his feline lips as he rose up on all fours and turned his back to her, his tail swishing upwards but not striking her face. She didn't do anything to offend him, but what she said was funny.

"If you are looking for, meow, your boys then you, merow, should come no further." He laid down against the desk again and let his paws hang lazily over the edge, swinging into the opening that was there. The ledger was there and maybe he was picking at it for a purpose. "In fact, I'm kicking you out." His tail did a quick flick before it went down to rest against the top of the desk.

"Rumor is that your boys, murr, are not here." Rising back up he turned around and laid, tail curling around his body. Ravyne didn't want a room and he had given her the information she was seeking, even if she never asked for it. To him offering it was the easiest way to get her about her goal, which was causing a 'Storm' as she put it. If her kids were not here, and they were elsewhere, surely the woman's storm would blow.

"So go on. Leave. Meow. Go find the trouble."
