favorite smell

So I was thinking, since Inion smells different to each person she interacts with and that smell is thier most comforting or favorite smell, I thought that it might be fun to share our favorate smells and maybe why.

Mine is the smell of hot pavement just as it starts to rain on a warm summer day. and as to way is because it reminds me of my summers as a kid in the california valley.

Inion's favorite smell currently is sugar cookies baking.

Mine is freshly bleached crisp white sheets straight from the washer. What a wonderfully clean smell.

Venis' is new pennies. They smell like young blood.

Tasha's is wild Honeysuckle. It smells like one of those California valleys as well, so you know the scent. Because the rain brings the flower and it permeates the air with the perfect amount of sweetness.

Seleen's is raw meat. It's intoxicating to her.

I like the smell of fresh, homemade pumpkin pie and apple pie.

i love the smell of boxwood bushes, they're absolutely earthly and glorious and are planted all over the graveyard that is next to my undergratuate alma mater. considering i spent just as much time at the graveyard as i did at the theatre (which was a LOT), whenever i smell boxwood bushes my mind goes back to a place where i feel much at home.

pris likes the smell of the pillows of the people she loves. she hates sleeping alone or being alone period, and is the worst kind of pillow thief as dommy could tell you - she constantly stole all of his pillows when he was working nights, and she sneaks into doctor donnie's room and steals one of his pillows if she's missing him and he's out or at the clinic. whenever she's watching tv, she's curled up with one of their pillows - she has a really strong need to feel cared for at all times.

Me-Rose Milk hand and body lotion. When I smelled it for the first time as an adult, I remembered a great deal about my Grandmother who died when I was four. My olfactory sense got a steroid-like boost when I went deaf, and now, I identify things by their scent a lot.

Gawain-The scent of Airtia. It makes his nose.....well, all of him....sort of tingle.
