A bird with an invitation

[Ha'Ruil]

He was laying down looking up at the ceiling as his stomach started to growl.

"Ah it must be time for lunch....dinner.......heck I do not know."

He stretched a little before getting out of bed.

"I wonder what they have to eat around here."

He was about to walk out of the door before he remembered that the Lady named Tasha said she was going to eat dinner later.

"Hmm...Might want to ask her if she would like to join me."

He shrugged if she did or did not join him for dinner that was up to her. He walked over to the table and looked around for a pen and paper. After he found the items that he was looking for he sat down and wrote something down on the paper he made sure that it was small but the lettering was big enough to be read.

"Ok this will do."

He rolled it up and taking a string wrapped it around the paper. Once it was tied he went over to the window and opened it up, he let out a whistle and waited for a second. A little blue jay came fly down and landed on the window seal. He put his hand down and the bird hoped into his hand. He raise it to eye level.

"Ok I want you to bring this message to a lady with red hair and green eyes that is somewhere in at the inn."

He did not know where she was but he did know that she was living here somewhere. The bird looked at him and chirped, he just smiled at the bird and using his other hand he offered the message and bird took it biting onto the string, when it made sure to have in its beak he flew off. He closed the window behind the bird and walked over to the door opening it and walking out closing it behind him. The bird flew around a little while going to each window looking in to find the lady that the elf described. On the third the bird landed on a window seal and looked inside. It saw the person that it was looking for and it started to tap on the window.

[Casandra Lightheart]

Casandra was in her rooms at the Inn, the kids had to be back in school. She really did need to talk to the teachers about getting them in more advanced classes.

She was about to sit down when she heard something at the window. She turned and looked at it, there she saw a bird; was that a letter in its mouth?

She moved to open the window the bird dropped the letter into her hand and flew off. She opened the letter and laughed. The little bird had been a bit off. She went to Tasha's room and knocked on the door.

Tasha had been back from town for a few hours. She hadn't bothered to change clothes or anything, after all, she was just hanging out in her room doing basically nothing. He heard a knock upon her door and went over to yank it open. "Oh, Hey Casie." She opened the door wider. "Come on in." She stood back from the door to let her in. Tasha had cleaned her room. She even gathered up her laundry and divided it to be cleaned.

[Casandra Lightheart]

She smiled as she came in.

"I can only stay a moment; I was just about to start some paper work when I got a very strange messanger."

She handded her the small letter.

"It was a small bird delivering this letter to my window."

Tasha arched an eyebrow and took the letter from her. "I wonder what this is all about." She opened the letter and read it.

[Ha'Ruil]

The letter said.

"My Lady Tasha,
How you are doing. Well I know this is going to be kind of odd request but you said that were you going to eat dinner later and I was wondering if you would like to join me down at the dining area of the Inn. If not I understand completely but it never hurts to ask. Well if you do decide to join me I will be awaiting your arrival down there.

Tasha blinked and looked up at Casie. "Um, I guess I have a dinner invitation. Perhaps I should get dressed and join him?" She wasn't sure why she was going to join him. But it would have been rude to not do so. And if he had gone through the trouble of sending a bird to find her, even if he did fond the wrong green eyed red-head, it was still a nice gesture. But the look she gave Casie was one of pleading for help. She hadn't gone on what anyone would call a date since Halloween when Dre was her date for the party.

[Casandra Lightheart]

She smiled at her.

"Tasha, it has been a while since you had a date, this will be good for you. Be yourself and have fun. So what does this mystery man look like?"

[Guest]

Tasha scratched her head and blushed slightly when Casie asked about what he looked like. "I don't know. He has brown hair, he's an elf, I mean, I guess he's kinda cute. Not like I was paying all that close of attention." What? She wasn't. She was trying to get to town for something important, and he was there. She ran him down so she was being nice to him. In her mind, that was all it was.

[Casandra Lightheart]

She laughed.

"Well if a little birdie ended up at my window looking for you who knows what he remembers."

She hugged Tasha.

"Go enjoy yourself, I have to get that paperwork done before the twins return from school."

[Guest]

Tasha sighed. "Yea, sure, great." She hugged Casie back and then put her hand back on the door. "You have fun with your paperwork. If I need an escape I'll send Levi to get you." Yes, there it was, the escape plan. Tasha had seen this before. In movies and the like. Someone would be going out on a date, and they would have it set up so that a friend would call them with an 'emergency' in case the date was going bad. If the date was going good they would solve the alleged problem over the phone. If it was going bad they would make it out to sound like a giant crisis that they had to leave to take care of. Yes, Tasha had it figured out already.

[Casandra Lightheart]

She laughed.

"If Levi comes to get me I'll come down and tell you the twins are insistent to see you before they go to bed."

She walked out the door and back to her room.

Tasha laughed, that was a great idea. She slammed the door shut and walked over to her Armour and opened it up. She had no idea what to wear. She pulled out a little blue dress. It was form fitting and gathered in the front. It was a spaghetti strapped dress. But it required a strapless bra and a thong.

She got dressed and slipped into a pair of heels that matched the dress. She threw on a blue topaz necklace and matching earrings and then brushed out her hair. She left it down letting the nearly straight waves of red cascade down her back to the top of her butt. She put Leviathan's diamond collar on her and smiled. "Ok girl, let's go to dinner." Then she headed for the door.

It didn't take her long to head down the stairs, and the bar was a short walk from there. She almost turned around to go back to her room twice. But she couldn't being herself to be so mean. It was just dinner. She could handle dinner. Couldn't she? She would know for sure in a moment. Because she was standing near the bar area and she looked up and saw him. Too late to turn back now.

[Ha'Ruil]

He was waiting at the dining area of the bar, his hands behind him and rocking back and forth. He was about to start dinner when he heard footsteps coming down the stair he turned his head that way and stopped swaying and his mouth was agape. There before him was the most beautiful woman he has seen. He walked over to her and bowed.

"My dear Lady Tasha I did not know when I bumped into you this morning and asked you if you would like to join me for dinner that I would be dinning with an angel."

He stood back and looked at his clothing and chuckled.

"Well I feel extremely under dressed."

He was wearing all green from his boots to his jacket with a fur lining around the neck.

"Well my dear Lady shall we eat?"

[Guest]

Tasha chuckled. "I'm not an angel, but thank you. And you look fine. This is casual for me." She waited for him to pick a place for them to sit and eat. Leviathan stood beside her. But she looked at the elf. She was thinking she needed to check this guy over and make sure he had no plans of hurting her human.

[Ha'Ruil]

He just nodded to her at what she said and then he saw the panther next to her. He walked over to the table that he picked out for them and pulled a chair out.

"My Lady."

He bowed to her letting her sit down first.

[Guest]

She walked over to where he was holding the chair, her heels clicking on the floor. With a brush of her hands along the back of her dress she sat down. "Thank you." She lifted and scooted the chair to the table. Leviathan was sitting there beside her just watching him. She would wait until he sat down to check him out more.

[Ha'Ruil]

He scooted her next to the table and he got to the opposite side of the table and sat down.

"So my dear Lady, Please tell me about yourself."

He saw the panther looking at him, He did not do anything to upset the panther, he knows what they could do.

[Guest]

Tasha hated this part. She hated talking about herself. She hated trying to tell people things that she thought they might like to know. The guessing was torture, not to mention the reactions people had if they didn't want to know about something. It always felt like a job interview. "Umm, what would you like to know?" Her voice was soft and smooth. Which shocked even her.

Leviathan on the other hand, she wanted to know who this guy was and what he wanted with her human. So once he was sitting down she walked over to him and started sniffing him and walking around him. He wasn't even human, he was an elf. That gave her some comfort. Elves were usually nicer than humans.

[Ha'Ruil]

"Umm...lets begin with where are you from and your childhood. That is if you want to talk about that."

He just looked at her with his arms on the table. He then saw the panther get up and start to walk over to him ans sniff him. He watched out of the corner of his eye before turning his face to face the panthers. He put his hand out palm up and slowly brought it towards her.

"Hello there gorgeous one. and how you?"

[Guest]

Leviathan sniffed his hand and then remained still so he could pet her. She figured he was ok for now. After all, they were just having dinner. And he didn't seem to mind that she was escorting her human. Tasha wasn't going anywhere without her with someone she didn't know.

Ok, easy questions. One's that can be fired back at him. "I was born and raised in Rhy'Din. Um, moved out at 16, my family didn't want me around anymore. I have two sisters, Alicia and Catrina. Both older. I've seen them twice since my parents deaths. So how about you?" Yes, she did ask him the same thing, it was easier that way.

[Ha'Ruil]

He put his hand on the panthers head and started to stroke her head before putting a hand behind the panthers head and started to scratch her ear. He listened to her talk about what had happened to when she was younger and he just shook his head.

"That is terrible my Lady. and well about me. Hmm...let see. Well like you I was born and raised here in Rhy'Din. I have lived in the forest for as long as I could remember. I guess you could call what the people of earth call them hippies. Well its the truth. But anyways when I turned 20 I left. I know that we are suppose to stay with our people until we get done with adolescence but it would never work on me since I am a kid at heart."

And with that he gave her this really cheesy smile before making it turn into a grin.

"So why are you staying here?"

[Guest]

She lowered her hand and snapped her fingers. Leviathan came over and laid down beside Tasha's chair. "I am here because I am part of an entourage and have no desire to not be. Pretty much where my friend goes, I go. We have some time apart of course, but we stay in the general vicinity of each other. What made you come out of the woods to find shelter?" She looked over at the bar and wondered where the staff was hiding.

[Ha'Ruil]

He just smiles at her.

"Well my lady as I told you before the forest floor is extremely lumpy so getting a room at an inn is just something I do from time to time when my back starts to hurt. And since I have been talking to animals for most of the time that I am out in the forest it is good talk to another human being, even to one as beautiful as you are my lady."

[Guest]

Tasha smiled. He hadn't asked another question so she had no question to answer. She didn't blush, she had been told she was beautiful before. But she was wondering if anyone was going to come and get their orders. She wasn't exactly comfortable at the moment. She wasn't one for leaving her room lately. "Thank you Ha'Ruil." After all, he did give her a compliment.
