She smiled as she watched them.

"Ilúvënis, its ok you don't have to stop talking to Don, he asked you a question and it is ok to answer him."

Ilúvënis blushed a little. She wasn't use to such a relaxed atmosphere.

"OK Mommy, just not use to such a big beautiful place, and..um.. people. Please excuse me Don, I'm not use to being able to speak freely."

"Oh you like peanut butter and jelly? you know thats my favorite too... sort of reminds me of when I was a little one."

He smiled big and bright to the little girl, bringing a hand up to brush his still wet hair back out of his face."

"Its alright, no problem. take your time... hey, would you like a present?A welcome to the Inn present?"

eyes where then back up to mom." hey Mah, can I give her a present?"

Em smiled.

She looked at her daughter and the Dr.

"Of course you can give her a present."

"alright, I'll be right back!"

" and he stepped back form the door, getting rid of the towel, and picking up his captain america sleeping shirt, and then he went into his back pack. all while his door was still open. and then with both hands behind his back he returned to the door, knealing down.

"Alright now sweetie, which hand? and mom, no peeking for her." a glance up to emelia.

Ilúvënis looked at both hands.

"Ummmm... I pick...that one."

She pointed to his right hand

"what? are you psychic?" of course he made sure the hand she picked was the right one. and he pulled out a stethoscope. and offered it forth to the little girl.

" This here is a stethoscope. do you know what it does?"

Ilúvënis took it with a very curious eye. She had never seen one before. For that matter she had never been to the doctor before either.

"No sir, I don't. What's it for."

"its for listening to the heart.... here check it out..." he took the ear bits and placed them into her ears and then took the pad end and whispered very softly into it

"See, you can hear anything..."

and then he placed the pad on his wrist, which filled her ears with th soft pulse of his heartbeat. and then he pulled the pad up and then puttled the ear bits from her ears.

"Its all for you..."

"WOW!!! Thats cool. You mean I can have it? Thank You!!!!"

Ilúvënis walked around the rest of the room placing the stethoscope on everything he could find to see if it had sound. While Emilia and the good doctor talked.

[Emilia]

She smiled at her daughter and stood to talk to Don.

"Thank you"

She kissed his cheek.

"I know it means a lot to her."

"hey its alright, I just remember when I was a kid, I got one as a present and it blew my mind..." he said with a smile, giving her cheek a little kiss back.

"just uh, you know dont let her listen to a television speaker or anything... it uh, leads to ringing." playfully sticking his pinky into his ear and feigning cleaning it out. then his attention went back to the little one." everything sound all good and healthy now?"

Ilúvënis grinned happily.

"Yes I think everything is alright!"

[Emilia]

She smiled.

"Come on Ilúvënis, there are others for you to meet."

Ilúvënis went to the good Doctor and gave him a hug.

"It was nice meeting you, and thank you for the stethoscope."

She then walked back over to Emilia and took her hand.

"I'm ready Mommy."

"Awesome, thank you nurse... I look forward to the next check up my furnature gets..." said as he showed both ladies to the door after returning the girls hug with one of his own.." you guys have a blast out there... feel free to come back any time."

[Emilia]

She smiled at him and nodded.

"I'll bring her back around."

She took her hand and led her up to the third floor to Venis' room. She stuck her head in the door.

"Hello, any one home?"
