"I forget that you would understands Pegan holidays."

She looked at him.

"My mother does not wish it."

"Did I mention before that I minored in ancient theology in school?" good cover Donald. because he knew for a fact he had never mentioned his alter ego, and had never transformed in the presence of anyone else. did he actually minor in that? who knows.

"Why doesnt she? she a four day a year kind of mom?"

[Emilia]

"We meet to celebrate the Winter Solstice, Vernal Equinox, Summer Solstice, and Autumnal Equinox. My mother is hard to explain, she dosen't even speak to anyone else; I am lucky to get the four times per year that she spends with me."

"Well, I knew the solstices too... they're just different... sorry" a nod and a pause before going on." I'm sorry you don't get to see her more often... maybe though, if you went out on the other druidic holidays too? I mean Easter is another holiday that the druids worship."

[Emilia]

"Yes it is, but that is the one holiday that my mother refuses to observe."

She sighed.

"Like I said it is dificult. If you will remember I told you when we met, even Gods have thier troubles."

"There is also Mayday and Yule... other holidays too... I mena I really do understand that gods can have their troubles, but that doesnt mean that your family cant help you with them?"

[Emilia]

She looked at him.

"It involves explaining things that I have only ever discussed with one living being, perhaps in time I will trust you enough to explain."

[DrDonaldBlake]

"Well I wasn't asking you to explain anything, just trying to say that, I mean you could see your mother to worship on other holidays. there are more then just the four solstices... and I mean yule, that's when family is supposed to gather and spend time together... but we can change the subject..." taking another larger drink from his wine, bringing his second glass to its end." Did you get to go to college?"

[Emilia]

She reached across the table and touched his arm.

"It is ok, it is my mother’s wish and I am just respecting what she wants."

She smiled and finished her glass of wine. She picked up the bottle of wine and refilled both glasses.

"My schooling was not...traditional. I guess, you might say I have the equivalent of a degree in religion, and linguistics."

[DrDonaldBlake]

"oh! thats right, we where talking about that before." he was feeling a bit buzzed, and you could tell in the looseness of his tounge." I knew about the linguistics. but Religion too? I sort of have a degree in that too. what branch of religion?"

[Emilia]

"Several different religions but as I am sure you gather Druidism is the most prominent, that and its relationship to early Christianity."

She smiled as she took another sip from her wine.

"I liked the ancient mainstream ones, Greco-roman,Norse, Egyptian, and Middle American stuff. and the interesting little similarities that they all had with one another..."

Didnt help that as Thor he had met most gods in the other pantheons, having done battle with several of that group.

[Emilia]

She smiled at him.

"We could have many interesting conversations about religion."

She took another drink from from her glass, and set it down.

"You know, it seems we have more in common then we first thought."

"you know? we could! we could have a whole bunch of them. and I never thought we didnt have alot in common. really didn't know each other before. but yeah we do have quite a bit dont we? s'always good you know"

he was done with the wine. he was never a big drinker, and he had had enough of it at this point.

She smiled and picked up her glass of wine and finished it.

"It has been fun but I have to move up to the third floor tomorrow and go pick up a little girl."

She stood up.

"Would you like to see me out?"

"absolutely!" a beaming smile from doctor blake who pushed up on the table to stand up. it was a little difficult for him on account of his leg but he managed, offering her a big smile."thank you for joining me." starting for the door, opening it for her." if you need help moving, just let me know, if I am around I'' love to help

She headed to the door and smiled at him as she kissed his cheek.

"Thank you for dinner, as for moving it is only a few boxes."

[DrDonaldBlake]

"thank you for dinner. afterall you're the one who payed for it." another smile and he leaned in to return ther kiss to his cheek with one to hers." be careful, lemme know fi you need a burly manly man or something."

[Emilia]

She laughed, and then smiled.

"I will remember you if I ever need a burly manly man. Goodnight Doc."

She went into her room and closed the door behind her with a smile.
