Kyra took a deep breath and thought long and hard about what to tell Dre's mom. The truth of course but she didn't know much about where she came from or at least not stuff she wants to talk about. Her wings started to flutter from nerves. She really didn't want to tell everyone about her past cause it wasn't the best and she was doing ok now. No one was looking for her and no one was trying to chase her down and force her back to where she was before. She shrugged to his mom and gave her a sad look. One of those please don't make me tell you type of looks.

"I....I...I would rather not talk about me. Tell us about Dre...what was he like when he was growing up?"

She hoped she wouldn't be forced to talk about things.

He looked up real quick from that.

"hey Hey Hey! No need to be trying to get stories about me now." he chuckled, "I think I am the same now as I was then. Maybe. Okay a lot different now then I was because of Sheena and my father."

Madeline took in everything and giggled at Dre. Sheena looked as good as she has ever have. "No Kyra hasn't changed a bit. At least not in all the years I have known him." She shook her head. "The only difference is he's probably sneakier."

Kyra giggled at Dre but hoped his mom would still tell her stories.

"There is every reason to find out stuff about you."

She paused thinking a moment trying to find a good reason.

"I just can't think of any right now but I'm sure I will."

Nods matter of factly at Dre.

-She could not help but laugh at all of them as she shook her head.-

Well...what is there not to tell you about my son. I will forgo telling stories for now and asking questions. Why don't we just enjoy the meal and tea and talk about something other than each other.

-She sighed really wanting to know more about Kyra but she sees that is not going to get her any where and Dre obviously does not want to be talked about so she will leave things alone. She whispers to Dre.-

We need to talk in private after we eat. It is very important.

Maddie nods in agreement. "That's not a bad idea, we have to get to bed fairly early tonight Kyra, so we can keep up with bossman here."

Nods to Madeline and finishes up her food and drink. Frowns at the thought of going to her own room. Looks at Dre and Sheena and then back to Madeline. Wondering if she could get away with not going to her room but going some where else to hide. Shakes her head to herself and figures it would not be a good idea to test Dre's patience on that one.

Maddie culd since that Kyra was stalling, about going to bed. Maybe something was bothering her. She remembered all those early days in the Society, how scared she was to sleep at night. Madene decided she would do what ever she could to help Kyra, and find out exactly what was wrong."You know Kyra, I have two beds in my room, if you would like you could be my roommate, it would save on room cost for you, and that way we could make sure we both get to sleep, and work on time."

She perked up at the suggestion and a smile crossed her face. She had a roommate once and found it so much better than sleeping in a room alone. Her wings began to flutter in excitement as she spoke in hyper tones.

"Are you serious? We can be roommates?"

She could barely contain her excitement and didn't even wait for confirmation before she nearly tackled Madeline in a hug. Kyra had a tough time containing her emotions especially when she was excited about something.

Sheena smiled at Kyra's excitement and Madeline for the suggestion. She was a smart young woman to know when someone was stalling for some reason. She spoke calmly to Kyra and Madeline.

"Now that doesn't mean you stay up all night and talk about boys."

She chuckled knowing how girls were at times.

Madeline chuckled on the insideat Sheena's comments. She must have remembered Madeline herself use to never go to bed on time. She tred to make her voic sound as innocent as possible. "Yes Ma'am"

He looked at them all. "And Maddie not giving Kyra ideas about riding my tail and such or any of your old antics."

Chuckling at that. yes it was good those two got along. He had a feeling they had more in common then they thought. "I am glad to see you two getting along. Maddie, watch after her for me eh? Just a hunch you see." He looked at them and gave a huge smile. Scary coming from him in this form.

Maddie batted her eyelashes innocentlynow, you know ost of my antics were mostly directed at a certian furball. Although I bet Kyra could cath that tail. Do't worry she's in good hands."

Kyra had already ran off to her room without saying anything. She had to pack. Luckily for her she doesn't have much to deal with just a small bag and a small rectangle box that was still sealed. It was given to her with instructions not to open it so she did what she was told. Once she was done she looked around her room and then locked the door and ran back to the bar and waited next to Madeline to show her where their room was. She grinned and stood there. She was excited to have someone around her that wanted her around. She looked around and then spoke panting a little from the running.

"So what did I miss?"

Madeline gave a mischevious grin .Nothing much. I'll explain later. Why don't I go show you our roomand we can talk. I think Dre, and his mom would like some privacy."

Madeline leaned and gave Sheena a hug. It was so nice seeing you agai Miss Sheena, I hope you plan on a long visit, so we can talk more. "

"Dre, what time do we need to be at the forge for opening day?"

He looked at them and shuddered. Man was he ever worried now. He looked at his mother for help, but somehow knew it would not come.

Hearing Maddie ask the time to be there he said, "Anytime after dawn."

She smiled and spoke to Sheena after Madeline.

"It was nice meeting you Miss Sheena. Maybe another time when he isn't around you can tell us stories."

She nudged her head in Dre's direction with the last comment. She followed after Madeline to see their room. She turned back briefly and waved to Dre.

"Night boss."

-She chuckled at Dre as she wished the ladies a good night sleep.-

Good night and sweet dreams and be sure to actually get some rest you two. Maddie you are older and wiser....remember that.

-She chuckled again knowing her son was right that they would be up all night. She turned her attention back to him once they were out of ear shot. She took a deep breathe and spoke.-

He looked at his mother and nodded. "I know mother and I love you as well. I am sorry I have been so distant. It is good to see you again. Mother, meant to ask you. With so many here from the Society that knew father, why not have a memorial so we can all say good bye. Just an idea mind you."

-Sheena smiled at his until he suggested having a memorial for his father with the old members of the Society. Her smile went away then. She had her feelings but she did her best to stay objective and think of what Krow would have wanted. He would have wanted his old friends there. She nodded to Dre and brought back a smile.-

That sounds wonderful. Your father would have wanted it that way. Just at some point in the near future I will have to return to Castle Darkmane for his bureal service.

-She really didn't want to think about any of that at the moment but she knew it was important to complete.-

"You will not be leaving alone mother. I will be by your side to bury father. It is what he would want. Besides, I guess I have to quit hiding from the fact that I am the new Lord of the House of Darkmane. Mother what if I do not want it? I can not run that House like Father did. He was, well he was the perfect Lord for it. Mostly because of you. I am alone in that aspect."

He went quiet for a bit. "Maybe we can get some advice on where to hold it and when from the tavern owner. If we ever see her.Unless you have better ideas."

-She patted his arm with a sigh at the thought of him not taking his rightful place. She was originally upset at the fact that there was going to be a new Lord of the House of Darkmane but she also knew it was the way of things. She thought a moment about his question and answered it.-

You will make a wonderful Lord. You just have to believe in yourself and hopefully some day find a woman worthy of being the Lady of the House that can give you everything you need to help you be Lord.

-She thought a bit more about where to hold the memorial and thought getting some ideas from the tavern owner would be a good idea.-

Would you mind talking with her about where we can hold the memorial? I will continue thinking of some ideas on my own in the mean time.

"I will see what I can do about it mother. I have not met the lass yet, maybe Maddie can help me there. As for Lord, I still do not know mom. I mean that is big shoes to fill and I do not wear them at all. Please I need tips. I need help. I am lost right now in many things."

With that he explained everything going on. Then went quiet.
