A Overdue Visit. -:{ Open! }:-
Gwendolyn had not been around in a while, that was true, she was currently not living in the same area as Tel'Ranaemyn Inn. That did not mean she had given up her own place in the area, only that she hadn't been there in a while, though Harmon had stopped by to check on the place, make sure things were kept in good order, and to make sure that her flutterbyes were doing well. She had been rather curious though how things were going back at the Inn, how her family that was not on the island were doing. Life on the island was rather laid back and yet the time seemed to be different then it was at other places she had visited. Thankfully she wasn't falling out of the sky anymore, the two times she did that had been enough for the girl. Her steps did not falter as she was making her way to the main room of the Inn where she had often sat and spoke with her friends here, or moved behind the bar and played tenderess in one of her many colorful costumes.
Today was a ordinary day, nothing special, just a want that she wished to see how things were going. Perhaps if she was lucky she would be able to catch up with those that she had not seen in a while. She had run into Ryan once when she had Harm with her, and they had met, and she was glad for that. She had a full life on the island but a part of her, that would not be silenced missed her friends and family at the Inn. Dressed in a pair of denim shorts, that were not to short, but were short enough due to the warm weather and a emerald green tank top that had the spaghetti straps, with a simple enough necklace around her neck. On her ring fingers on both hands she had nice rings, one was in the shape of a butterfly the other was more traditional looking. She was not wearing any shoes, if she had them earlier she had kicked them off, she loved her heels but lately she was in a bare foot sort of mood.
When she entered the establishment she looked around to see if there had been any new changes, though it was a bit comforting that if anything had changed that it must have been little things. But she knew that nothing ever stayed the same that change was always going to happen. Not seeing anyone in the main room, she moved off to the place that she had spent many hours before going to her room, and later her own place that wasn't to far away, though distance was never a problem. Not seeing anyone yet, she wondered if things had died down or if perhaps she just came at a off time. Deciding it wouldn't hurt and maybe get a bit of attention, depending on what magical charm might be activated by doing it, she moved and got herself a drink, nothing fancy just some apple juice, she still did not drink the spirits, before popping herself and sitting on the bar top, with her long legs dangling off the edge....and waited.

Someone was coming. Oliver was almost sure of it. The raggedy 10-year old boy had taken to using an unused pot drawer as a hideout. It was the perfect size for him - he could even close the door to keep himself hidden from site. Another perk was that this spot enabled him to hear any gossip that went on at the bar. Though the main owners were away, the rest of the staff were about and the things they said, well, this lad had a great deal of information!
When he heard what he thought was the front door opening, Oliver went as still as a statue. He thought it was Cocina coming to check if he had fixed up the horses as she had asked him yesterday. The task was done, but if she saw him she’d probably bother him with other things. That elf. She would have been pretty if she wasn’t so bossy. He was only nice to hear because of the sweet cakes she made and how she kept the kitchen stocked while Armandeus was on some type of family bonding trip with his brother. See, this kid knew things!
Oliver pressed his ear to the wall of his hiding place. He hadn’t heard any greetings or anything else really, and started to think that he had been hearing things. It could happen. He shrugged and settled back to sleep when he heard a light *thump* on top of the bar. What was that? Someone had to be there. Maybe it was an animal? No, they were too quiet for an animal - he should know, he worked with horses. It couldn’t be Cocnia.. could it? He was going to hate himself for doing this if it were.
To the thump he heard, Oliver raised his hands to his ceiling and made a *TAP. TAP. TAP-A-TAP-TAP*

Gwendolyn was sitting on the bar top as she always did, well did in the past, it had been a while and surely things changed. But it was when she was looking about the room, when she heard that tap tap tap tap coming from well under her? And she hopped down, and she looked at the bar and tilted her head, causing her locks to shift over her side. Her hands were down on her sides one moved to her hip, as she thought just a moment, then she thought why not. "Hello Tap tap tap....is someone there?" Yes she was asking about that first. Her fine brows arched even as she started to slowly move around the bar curious as it was....only her steps would stop if a voice came out from somewhere, otherwise she could continue to circle.
She thought that it was most peculiar, but she also had a feeling that it could have been her sister, playing a trick on her. Or maybe they ended up replacing the bar with a enchanted one, you know, one like Pip's door. That would not do. And so that had her looking even more curiously about. She and The Door had a history, and she really did not think she felt in the mood to go free falling today, okay she really wasn't. Plus, if she got injured she wouldn't want to tell some people what caused it, they would get wild ideas in their heads, and she didn't need that yet.

He was right! He hadn’t even been hearing things as there was something there. Or really, someone as they had answered his tap. Oliver pressed his ear harder to the wall of his hiding spot hoping to get more clarity in the voice. He had heard it, but it wasn’t one that he immediately remembered. Even when there were lots of people milling about, Oliver stayed holed away in the stables for most of the time, and then there were the other people. Not many paid attention to a scruffy ten year old boy milling about in the muck and staying tucked by hay bales.
“Someone caud be ansone,” he said in response to her question. Even if she had made it around, Oliver had closed the door to his cabinet, though it wasn’t completely shut - no handles on the inside and he wanted some light - it wasn’t open enough for him to be easily seen. (There was this one time, when someone closed the door with him inside….)
He thought he heard the sounds moving away from him and Oliver wished he had “Um… Who’s you?” Cautiously asked. Oliver thought that he knew all the voices of the people around here now, and this one wasn’t registering.
