There was no such term where she came from that would equate to ‘Grandmother’ in the Common tongue of people around here. You produced an heir, whether male or female, to suit your needs and that they would turn around and have heirs of their own was only a product of logical evolution. It was near a week ago when De’Ryanna came to her with the news that Xavier was going to have an heir.

“Xavier’s mate is with child. Twins.” Those are the wods that her daughter had said. Nothing more and nothing less for there wasn’t much for the two of them to say on the situation and nothing was expressed about the girl, Titania, not wanting the children. While Airtia had shown only a passing interest to the news she had been given, it was really quite the opposite. This situation produced its own possiblities especially since the girl Titania had rather colorful offerings of her own.

On this day, when time had provided her an opportunity, dark red cloak was pulled over her shoulders and the Sedai walked down the road that lead to Starbucks. For todays mission that orange and black stripped cat was absent, with the current news he had been sent off on another mission. Watching people come and go she caught the sway of the closing door as a patron left and then entered in herself.

Never had she been in this establishment but one did not have to have visited to know the location of a public place. Standing just inside the door the interior was scanned though her head did not shift in position, only the cold silver of her eyes. Steady beat of the heels of her shoes clicked upon the floor of the establishment as she made progress to the bar. If she had to wait in line it was of no matter to her. She could wait.

When it was her turn at the counter her eyes fell upon the one behind it and leather clad fingers touched down to rest upon its polished surface. There was no smile, no twinkle in her eyes of politness, only a steady an authoritize tone in her voice as she spoke. “I seek Titania.”

And that was it.

It was a day, just like any other at the Starbucks, the line wasn't as thick as it used to be, but it was decent sized. Thankfully most of the people were rather patient. The workers were moving behind the counter like a hive of little worker bees. Buzz buzzing around.

When the lady came up and the boy was getting ready to open his mouth and ask what he could get for her, he felt himself blinking. A small stutter was given to the words. "Shhhee...doesnnnn'tttttt wooorrrkkk hhheerre annnymmmooorrreee." He took a deep breath. Even as his hand was reaching for his cell phone. "I...wiiilll tttteeexxxttt heerrr." And he did just that, sending a message from his phone to Titania's. 'You have a scary lady looking for you...what do you want me to do?' Was what he had sent, it did not take long for him to get a reply, almost as if Titania had expected as much. He looked up slowly. "Sssssssshe ssssssaiiiid ssssssshhhheee is ooooooooo...ooon hheerrr wwwaaayyy." He hoped the lady did not eat him, while she was waiting for Titania to arrive.

Ten minutes. Ten minutes is what it took for Titania to make her way from where she was, to the Starbucks. She had been on her way home from work, otherwise Airtia would of had to of waited or came back, and that could of made things...interesting.

When she stepped inside the building, her long curly locks were pulled back in a low pony tail at the base of her neck. Her over sized black purse was thrown over her right shoulder, a bright blue winter jacket was buttoned up, with a bright pink scarf. Black pants could be seen that tucked into a pair of black winter boots. She gave the boy behind the counter a small wave, in thanks for texting her, before spotting Airtia, wether she stayed at the counter or moved to take a seat, and walking to where she was.

Her voice was steady, as she faced Xavier's & De'Ryanna's mother. "Hello Airtia." The words were spoken in a soft yet polite way, she had a feeling she would be seeing the woman....and she was right in that.

Coming back another day was not an option; if the one she sought was not here she merely would have traveled to where she could be found. To try again later would have led to her thinking it not worth her time.

The boy at the desk was amusing in his stammering ways and her gaze did not let up on him at all while he spoke. In fact, as he did not ask her to step out of the way or move to the side so she could be out of the way for anyone who may be behind her she didn't. Her position shifted as she stood, taking her fingers off the counter to fold loosely around her waist but other than that the poor boy would have to deal with her watching him until the time that Titania arrived.

After the allotted time she heard her name being called by the one she had come to see. A turn of her foot made her pivot around and come face to face with the one carrying her sons heirs. "Titania." The name was spoken in a measuring tone for, indeed, that is what she began to do once eyes settled on her.

The last time she had met this girl was when they were assembled in her sons room at the Inn - if they had crossed paths after that it wasn't something that stuck out in her memory, but that meeting had because of the circumstance. Airtia's silver eyes studied the girls face checking for any signs of fatigue, weariness, pain, or any sort of outward expression of how she was feeling with the life she carried.

“We must make sure that ye ‘ave the proper treatment fer what tis tae come.” Ending her words with a pointed look to Titania’s stomach before her eyes flicked back up.

They were still at the counter and it didn’t matter to Airtia whether they held their entire conversation there or not but some preferred privacy; therefore she would poise a question. “Continue ‘ere?”

Post by -:|[ Titania ]|:- Fri Jan 21, 2011 6:58 pm

As she approached Airtia and the woman spoke her name, Titania’s head would give a small nod, in deference to the woman. It was not that Titania wasn’t a strong girl herself, but she knew she still had things to learn, and one of those things was to respect your elders. That meant to show Airtia the respect she was due.

They had met one time and only one time, and it was not any of her doing that caused her to be present even then. She had been willing to leave, but that wasn’t what had happened. Though she had seen De’Ryanna more then one time, and Maddie as well.

When the other woman’s eyes flicked over her form, she wondered if she could actually see the rounding of her body in places that hadn’t been such a shape before. Or if she was able to see the outlines of the magic’s that were used to place the shimmer type spell over her body. Not that she really was trying to hide such from the woman before her, it was just easier with the new job and everything not to show that she was as big as a whale and that she no longer hand ankles or sweet little feet. Fatigue was there, but that would be there for anyone in her position, a hint of a sparkle was evident in the girls eyes, almost like a hidden secret.

“The proper care? Is there a certain way this needs to be done?” She had been going to a doctor, and they hadn’t said anything about anything going on that wasn’t normal, but then maybe she did need something special due to what Xavier was. Those thoughts hadn’t even crossed her mind.

Then she thought about that, she didn’t think that they should be standing there blocking the line, and with a nod from the guy behind the desk she would give a nod towards the back where her office used to be. “We can go back here and chat.” It was more of a common curtsy thing then a privacy thing. Any looking at her that couldn’t see the shimmer or hear the extra heart beats would think the ladies crazy…not that it was a bad thing.

It was debatable if she could see the shimmer of magic that surrounded Titania's middle or not for she wouldn't say anything.  What would happen is a small sigh passed between her lips as she took note of the girls condition. Fatigue. Of course. She remembered how tired she had been while pregnant with her children and though they were two different women of background and abilities, some things like childbirth, which were universal.

"Tis a proper way fer e'erything tae be done." Though what those ways were varied on the person and what exactly it was that they were doing. Airtia's ways may not be 'proper' by many people's standards but she was never one to go with the crowd. "Yer nae a normal female, they are nae normal children."

Since they were going to move to a better location she reached thumb and forefinger inside the top of her dark red leather bodice and pulled out a couple of silver coins. Did they take that currency here? It was something she didn't know and besides, she hadn't ordered anything. Airtia turned to look once more at the boy who had done as he was told and showed him the coins. Then her arm lowered and the pair of silver were placed on the counter with a solitary plunk. Keep it or not he could do what he wished with it.

Titania made a slight indication to using another room and her shoulders lifted in a small shrug. "Lead on."

It would not be put past Airtia being able to see the shimmering magic that was used to disguise Titania's true form. She highly doubted that she would of gotten the things she needed to have done if she had not used such.

Now she gave a nod of her head, it was very true, those babies were not normal. And she feared that if she did end up delivering in the hospital she had been born in, that things might, well not be so grand. Oh look you have a a puppy and a baby and a how in the hell....Yeah that could be tricky. But she had to think of something right! But maybe there was a different way that would be better. "True, they aren't normal." Poor kids already being called not normal.

She made her way back to the managers office, the office that had been hers before she took a job elsewhere. Once she waited for Airtia to come inside, she would close the door. A gesture for her to sit if she would like, the desk had two chairs on one side and then one chair behind the desk. She would let the woman chose first, but if she hesitated to long she might not have that curtsy, as Titania did have that extra weight she was hiding yet carrying.

She wouldn't be taking the seat. It wasn't that she was ungrateful for the offer but Airtia rarely sat down on occassions like this - talking to others - and if she were seated she would typically stand up. She entered and while she walked the heels of her boots stayed silent on the floors. "Where do ye now work?" The boy had said that she no longer worked here and if she were to find the girl again than it would be more efficient to know where to go. Save time. "Did ye think that by leaving ye were somehow escaping the things that 'ave 'apppened?" She walked around this office that use to be Titania's and when she stopped it was at the side of the desk. As she had done at the front her right hand came forth and fingertips touched the top of the desk

Well it had been offered and as it was not taken, she moved around to take the seat behind the desk, out of the three chairs it was the most cozy. She could deal with looking up to someone as they talked as long as she did not have to be on her feet. Surely they were as swollen as small river boats. "I now work at Krispy Kreme's...its a bit further away but no to bad. The drive to and from work to home isn't so bad." And it wasn't she was rather enjoying the drive it gave her time to think. Not that she didn't have time to think now. She had lots of quiet time. A laugh popped out of her, she couldn't help it. "I don't think that their is any escaping this." She gave a wave with her hand at her body. "But the job had better hours, more money, and more flexibility." As in it was perfect for her to have right now. She didn't have to go in to work every day. "I will be working from home a lot. They have some interesting cameras and computers set up for me." That was true, in truth she would only be needed on site if a issue came up. The majority of everything was able to be done, from home.

What they could do with technology these days… If she had ever heard of this new place or not no indication was given aside from a hint of a nod. "I see. Surely that tis better." she tapped her forefinger against the wood. "Now.. 'bout yer lil ones… How 'ave ye been feeling? Any.. strange things 'appening with yer powers?" A small lift of her brow and there was almost a tug to the right corner of her lip. "Yer a witch. Correct?"

Technology was a great thing! At least if you asked T. But yes, thier was not a flicker of acknowledgement from Airtia, just as one couldn’t tell if she could see T's real shape. The girl herself didn't think anything of it. "I do think it will be a blessing once the little ones are here." Then she asked some more questions. "Besides the normal feelings one says you will have when your pregnant with twins?" She gave a small nod. "I...was more magically drained in the beginning, and I couldn't keep the shimmer up as long. Now, its effortless, almost as if, I am getting help in that." She hadn't really thought about it until then, and she wasn't the sort to just use her magic here and there for everything, so really. She also had kept her temperament as even as can be. "I am." It wasn't a secret not really.

"Perhaps it tis yer lil ones that are 'elping…" it wasn't so much a suggestion but more of a piece of fact. "Ye 'ave abilities and so does there father." fingers picked up from the table and and her arms folded loosely across her chest. "'owever…. Iffen I were ye I may nae want tae use my abilities much while carrying. Ye may end up giving what ye 'ave tae them without meaning to…." she stepped back from the table then to take a few steps across the room. "What tis it that ye want with them?"

She gave a nod. "I didn't even think of that till you brought it up." In reality it just had been a given, that it didn't, she thought maybe her body had adjusted, but this was a very good point. A nod was given at the mention of abilities that she and Xavier both had. She blinked a moment. "I hadn't even thought of that." Not that she was going to suddenly quit, you cant walk into a back room at a place, all slim looking and walk out all bloated with that far gone in a pregnancy without getting some kind of looks. "Once I leave here...that is. Less explanations." She blinked her chocolate gaze at the question. "What do I want with them?" Before she had a thought, and she didn't like it. "If you think I would use my children to get back into your son's life your wrong." If anything ever developed there it wouldn't be because of the babes.

She gave a wave of her hand at the idea of the kids being used to get to Xavier before it crossed back to the other. "I really do nae care iffen the two o' ye two reconnect. ye do nae 'ave tae be together tae 'ave them." That was for sure. If the two of them wanted to stay apart or come together that would be there own thing. "I'll say differently.. What do ye plan tae do with them a'ter they are born? Keep them?"

Hey she might of turned into the protective mama bear. Titania had met one or two in her time. Though this situation had never happened, this was a first, and truthfully even at her tender age of 19 before she mad met Xavier she had quit men all together for a good half a year. She relaxed at that. "Oh! I am planning on keeping them. I don’t think I could get rid of them." That was the truth, she didn't know what Xavier would say when he found out, but that’s what she said.

"I see." She said and turned, her back going ot the other now as she took a step or two towards the door, but she wasn't exiting.. not yet. "It tis likely that when ye 'ave yer lil ones they will already 'ave their power, iffen they are born tae it." that was a possibility. it was also possible that they may not have any power at all. "And iffen they are Lycans…." Looking away from Titania she brought er hands together and tapped the tips against each other as she thought. "Xavier, when he was born, could change naturally. He almost tore his way out. Perhaps ye will fair better than I did. When are ye due?"

"That sounds like they are going to possibly be more work then a normal set of twins." That had her biting her lower lip in thought just a moment, but that was soon gone, she wasn't going to dwell on what ifs , they could be well perfectly well couldn't they? Her eyes got wide, did she have to share that bit with her. "Leave it to him." A small pause, "The middle of next month." It was almost here, and that freaked her out even more, which Airtia could see in the girls eyes if she looked. There was some things she had not thought of when she found out she was expecting.

"Next month," the way she said it she almost sounded surprised. She turned back around to face Titania then, her hands were together, fingertip tapping against finger tip, "Then there tis a lot tae prepare fer.. especially iffen ya plan on keeping them……" trailing off with that and she walked to the other side of the desk. "Tell me, do ye think that ye will be able tae keep this.. job o yers once they are born?"

A nod of her head, for it was true, next month, about a half a month away if the doctors were correct. Though with twins they could come early, if Airtia wasn't careful the babes could be born right now! "I started to get baby things for my house." Well okay she started but she had a way to go, with work and everything. She had bought the cribs and some other furniture for the nursery, but nothing had been put together yet. The store said fully assembled, they didnt tell you it cost extra and that the people they sent...well anyhow. She gave a nod of her head. "I am going to try too. I've been saving what I can...but with being able to work from home a lot I hope it works out for the best for me and the babes." She wasn't planning on relying on anyone else to heavily, yes when she went in to work she would need someone to help out..but she still had time for that didn't she?

"'course, iffen someone were around tae help ye, it would be that much easier, aye?" Her attention had turned back to Titania and silver eyes set on her once more. And what if the babies were to be born right there in the office? Would that ruin any plans? Not fully and Airtia knew how to deliver a woman, it would only be unexpected. The help she was referring to was Xavier. It would be easier if he were able to be around. He may still be but she was not going to wait on that before doing what it was she was going to do. "Nae matter what o'ter.. qualities yer lil ones 'ave, they will still be Lycans and that will take a lot o' care. From ye. And, iffen they 'ave abilities like yers or their fathers." The rest of that didn't need to be said. It was implied that if they had magical abilities as well things would compound. Airtia took steps closer to the desk again as she spoke. "Do ye like yer job? Do ye want tae keep working?"

She gave a nod of her head, it would be easier, and her head had moved slowly. "It would make things easier if I were not alone." A small pause. "But it was my choice to keep them, so it's up to me to take care of them." Not that she wouldn't welcome Xavier's help if he wished it, but she wasn't going to go begging him for it, she might be as big as a battle ship when the shimmer wasn't on her, but she had her pride. That was a bonus that she knew how, just in case, though hopefully the wee ones would stay put, and not be making any surprise appearances. There’s Johnny...um no thank you! Her eyes widened just a bit. "I am never going to sleep again after they are born am I?" Now the question about her job. "I like my job well enough, it pays the bills." That was the truth. She wasn't shy about that. "I don't come from a well to do family, and I know that kids need someone around. But if I don't work...." She let it drop off, if she didn't work she couldn’t pay the bills, the bills that kept electricity among other things going in her home.

A hand brushed through the air almost in a flicker of annoyance. "Ye did nae answer the question. The question was 'do ye want tae keep working' nae about what will 'appen iffen ye do nae or what ye are tae do instead o' it." Her hands were brought together once more as she reached the desk. She did not take a chair but she leaned upon the desk with her side as it afforded her better position to look down at Titania. "Tis a simple question. Yes… or no. There are some things that ye should nae think tae much about and simply answer."

True, she hadn't answered the question, well she had but not in the way that Airtia wished for. She still wasn't going to give a yes or a no. "I like working. But I think once the babes are born, I am not going to want too, I will want to be with them." Did that help more? The girl had a few times where she answered more talkative. Maybe she thought it was a trap, like she thought she was trying to trap someone into helping her out, instead of doing it on her own, as she should. Or something.

Airtia kept her eyes steady upon the other woman, watching her and the small patterns of her face that may have belayed any feeling or thought that wasn't verbally being said. She was quite for a few moments though it may have seemed like longer for in that span of time she didn't move or even blink. "Quit yer job at that, place." Krispy Kreme did she say it was? "Do it today, or the next, work up till ye feel ye 'ave tae be'ore the lil ones are born. But do, indeed, quit." And not worry about the rest, even if she did not that that part.

Now, if Titiana had been anyone else she might of felt a bit odd with that. The way that her eyes looked at her, but she could handle that, she would have to wouldn't she? It was the tone that Airtia said it in, she gave a nod of her head. "O...okay." She wouldn't ask any other questions she was going to do what the woman said. Already she told her her energy was going to be used up with the twins. That there was a chance that the labor could be...interesting. And a lot of other odd fun little facts.

Always one who liked those who did what they were told without asking many questions, Airtia was pleased and it was evident in the shadow of a smile that crossed her lips. "Good." It would be better for the girl anyway and Airtia could go about her plans. Sine Titania was going to keep the children there would be a slight change but the rest would go as it should. She stood up form her lean. "And, iffen fer some reason ye do 'appen tae come across any o'ter members o the Cauthon family it may be better iffen ye did nae say that ye 'ave spoken tae me." De'Ryanna knew, of course, otherwise she wouldn't be here now unless Titania found a way to contact her herself. "It may make things a lil complicated."

Of course, she didn't know much about the woman. She knew she didn't like to be questioned, that was something that she had noticed early on. If she knew what was going on in Airtia's head she might of been worried but she gave a small nod of her head. "I won't tell them that I saw you but if they ask me point blank...I don't know how that will go." The girl wasn't a liar, yet she might be able to twist things occasionally, and once she had her babes that could change things as well. "More complications...your family is very complicated." It was spoken as any other sentence would of been.

"That we are Titania," Smiling slyly with that statement as she once again started to the door. "And now ye are a part o it." That she was married to her son or not didn't make a difference in her mind, the children she carried still had the families blood in the system and since this woman was going to keep them…. "Welcome tae the family." Few more steps and she was at the door and she turned to see the woman. "Tis there anything else ye would like fer me tae know, or ye tae know before I take my leave o ye?"

Well, that made sense to her, the family part. Because she did carry babes that had her blood. There wasn't to much closer family then that. She smiled. "Thank you." I think but that was only thought and not said. Then she paused a moment. "No, I just thought that you should know about them." A nod of her head it was the truth.

"Very well," and she placed her hand upon the doors knob. As she turned it she thought of something. Her other hand came up to her bodice, and from the same area she had produced the coins to give to the boy at the counter she pulled out another coin. Similar to a silver piece, this one was bigger in size. On the coin a serpent eating its tail was engraved on the front, and on the back was a lightening bolt. "Take this." and she flicked the coin through the air and to the desk for Titania to catch. There was nothing apparently 'special' about this coin for in all ways save for the design it seemed plain. "Incase ye need me." With that said she opened the door to make her way out. Explanation? She could give one, but then again there were many things that she could do that Airtia simply didn't choose to do.
