Just another day

The heat of August was already rolling in, even with the air conditioning of the Starbucks, you could tell. Those days where just stepping outside would steam up a once cool glass. It was one of those days, and Titania was at work, she had been putting in as much time as she could at work, not to mention her decorating her home. She was glad that Xavier had gotten back from his trip in one piece, but she had not seen to much of him, she had a feeling he was off working on Epiphany's crew. Why did she have a feeling? Because Epiphany herself told her that he was. She was going to stop by the dig site, but things ended up coming up, and she had yet to make it over there. Maybe soon.

Coming out from the backroom, she had a quiet little whistle tune while she was working, pausing at the main counter, just to check on things. Once she was assured everything was okay she moved on to the girl that was cleaning the tables. Everything was going along smoothly, that made her happy, she liked when things went smooth. She was in a good mood not that she normally wasn't.

She knew that Xavier had wanted to go to the doctors with her, but she had not wanted to bother him while he was off with Epiphany. Oh she wanted to drop by there because she knew of Xavier's crush on Epiphany. But that very well might be the reason she didn't drop by there. Curious as she was, about things she had been told, yet not curious enough to go. The visit to the doctor came shortly after her run in with Epiphany, and now she knew what she had not known before.

That knowledge wasn't public and she held it to herself at least for now. It could change in the future and yet it might not. It was funny, with Xavier here yet not here, her mind was wondering. And of course other things that were going through her mind. Once she was sure that everything was going smoothly on the floor, she would turn on her heel and make her way back into her office. The door would close behind her, they knew how to knock, they did it often enough when they needed something. A smile would cross her features as she moved to sit behind her desk.

Oh she had a few good memories in her office, but that's not where her mind was at the moment, instead she pulled out the small key from her hiding spot and she unlocked the small drawer. Pulling the drawer open she pulled out the letters, it was more then one she had saved. Her chocolate gaze read over the letters one by one, carefully before putting them back. They made her smile, and smiles were good, especially when you felt you couldn't control anything, and that perhaps your life was about ready to change.

A deep breath as she wondered what happened to the letter writter, he just disapeared. Her mind would drift for a while...unless someone knocked.
