Then they were in luck, because Azlin was not going to try to peddle her to another. It was rare that Azlin tried to peddle people to other people, it normally only happened when someone asked for her to try to help. And even then, it was rare. She might do some leg work see if it could work but that was about it. A small lift of her right brow. "Depends on the promises no?" Some promises were not ones that were liked very well.

With most people being cautious was a good thing. If their ever was a Goddess that you were going to let your guard down around, Spider couldn't of picked a better one. Could she handle creatures? Creatures were actually easier then humans. Humans, broke to easily. Now the words she chose might not be the best but they were very true. "I've handled many creatures." Now that could be taken many ways, so it was really up to the girls way of thoughts.

She watched Spider's hand. When she flicked and the fae dust was out and skittered along the water, before the current took them away. A soft laugh as she looked to Spider. She was not laughing at the words, or at the woman, but because she had heard that before, and it wasn't something she took to heart. She had a odd effect on many people. "Tis good to hear!"

Now she had not asked, even if her gaze had questioned it. That in itself told her the girl was starting to relax in her company. The question had been in her eyes but it was not voiced. When Spider revealed her mother and her natural hair, it did not shock her overly much. But she smiled to Spider, she was rather glad the woman had took that step, though she couldn't say why. "I shall remember that." Though she did not look into the beckoning eyes of Spider.

Then she was talking about playing promises in a way of games. Azlin was like many of her kind and they did enjoy games. Maybe not the same games that Az did, she adored playing games with others. "A game! I like games! Let's play! How do you play?" It was after her words that Spiders hand found the back of her shoulder, and the soft tickle that was coming from her fingers to Az's shoulder. Could she of fought the gentle urging forward? Yes. Was she going to fight it, nope, she went with it, moving a bit closer to the half fae of the summer court. She was often curious of what people wanted, and most of the time went along, to quench her own curiosity. She was a very curious girl.

Wants were strong emotions, and if no one was likely to get hurt, what was the harm? The touch would of been returned except for the fact that Az's mind skittered and right now it was all about finding out about the game of promises! She wanted to play!

[The Spider]

When Spider was blunt about her blood people noticed what they may not have before. Many wrote off the silvery-pink hue of her skin as paleness. It was more than that. Her skin had a gleaming otherwordly mystique. Especially when Spider was bathed in sunlight or firelight.

Azlin was safe from Spider's eyes. Even tipped so far into Summer's power Spider knew if they locked eyes there would be a soulgaze. Until she made a choice between her halves one half of her would always be Wizard. Even if she didn't act like it. Like now. "Wizards normally keep their distance from creatures. Out of distrust. Father told me it was doubly important for myself. How do they handle?" Emphasis on do. Her question was genuine. With her winsome tone and wily smile Azlin could interpret her question in many ways.

This time Spider did not lift her hand. Azlin followed the beckoning touch. Spider interpreted this as an invitation. Her hand trailed backwards again. Fingers stroked the back of the goddess' neck. If Azlin's hair was in the way, the changling would stroke that as well. Every touch the tickle was a little stronger. As Spider's desire grew so did the sensation. There were no strings attached to her touch. Well...a Fae could never help that a vanilla human's brain grew addled and helpless from the sensations. Besides, those addled vanillas always seemed to enjoy themselves.

Zalina always had. Spider was fiercely deep in Summer's power whenever she was intimate with her wife. Could be why she was so remorseless now that her lover was an empty shell. Fae have their toys, and when they are broken by others they seek revenge but the toy itself is usually forgotten. This kind of desire lacked the humanity of love. Real love.

But it was fun. Emphasis on fun. And wasn't fun what she offered Azlin? "The promise game." She leaned closer to her. Her smile sweet with coming promises. "Is a bargaining game. I offer a promise, and you offer a promise. If we agree our promises are a fitting trade, we exchange a kiss which will seal our deal. If we can't agree, we continue to bargain until we can. After the first successful trade, we can make another. And another." Spider's sweetness widened to a wild grin. Such a simple game. But promises made with Fae were binding. Sealed by old magic. Today with kisses, other days handshakes. Many ways. "I will name the first promise."

Her other arm had remained under water all this time. Now that arm went into action. Hand slipping to cup Azlin's waist. Stroking downward through the cool water to explore the curve of it down to the goddess' hip. "I promise my hands won't wander anywhere they are not welcome."

It was true, that things fell into place, and made more sense. Not that she asked. She was the sort that was starting to work under a don't ask, don't tell policy. If she didn't ask she wouldn't know, and then she could not be held accountable for things, right! Brilliant she thought!

Now it sounded like she let it slip her father was a Wizard. Not that Az was lifting her hand and pointing it. "Is your father at the Inn as well?" Just because she was wondering if she knew the woman's father. A impish grin formed over Azlin's lips. "Depends on which creature your speaking of." For she had handled quite a few different ones. In a few different ways.

As they were in the water, Azlin's hair would be in the way, so it would move with Spider's hand. Even through her hair she could feel the tickles from the touch. Oddly, that could of been what kept her there, nothing strange like what happened to the vanilla human, but tickles, she was wondering...curious about such.

If Azlin knew such, could she hold that against Spider? No, she was the sort that often used others for her pleasure and moved on. She also got away with quite a bit even when she was in a relationship, and secrets well, those are things that were better left buried out back, were they not? That was where she was leaving hers.

Now, in the past before her mind had been opened a bit, she might of started to shy away. But she wasn't instead she grinned. "That does sound like a fun game!" She nodded her head. "Talk about sealed with a kiss..." Because their promises would be sealed with a kiss. She thought it rather fitting. It was only fair that Spider named the first promise, because it was her game. And she had to show Azlin how it was done, right!

When the hand touched her waist first she did not flinch away. In fact she stayed quite in place, even as Spider's hand moved to trace around the curve of her hip. In fact it was the ticklish feelings once more, that had her leaning just a bit into the feel. "I promise for tonight you have nothing to fear from me." Meaning no matter what happened, from now until they parted ways, nothing that Spider would do would gain Az's wraith. Sort of making her powerless in that aspect, she knew knowing whom she was, that some people got a bit nervous and over thought things, that's not what she wanted, not tonight.

It was her first attempt at something, but she could and would think of something else, if need be, for the first promise.

[The Spider]

During the talk that had nothing to do with the game Spider's hands weren't still. The fingers of her left hand curled through the goddess' hair and stroked her neck. The fingers of her right trailed up and down Azlin's side. They didn't wander too high or too low, yet. "Father resides on the first floor. As do I. He is the reason I am there, for now."

Her mischievous smile unfolded. Shifting closer she leaned in. So their foreheads nearly touched. Bending her head to murmur towards her ear. "Pick and creature and tell me about them. It will serve as my daily lesson." She had never cared a lot for books. She'd much rather read this radiant woman than words on pages. If only the goddess came with a subscription. Delivered to her doorstep like the Sunday Star.

Being so close to her drove Spider's desire mad. She fought to keep her resolve not to kiss this woman anywhere until promises were agreed on. Azlin moving closer only made it harder. The stroke of her hand became kneading fingers. Then a firm grip on the waist. Pleasure came with Spider's caress like a vibration.

The promise the goddess offered made it all sweeter. "Mmmm." The sound hummed her agreement. "I found a merciful goddess." How Spider looked up suggestively through her dark lashes was sloppy. Almost looking her conquest full in her eyes. It was avoided. Barely. If this were a different scenario Spider would've been shaken and angry at herself for being so slovenly with her caution.

Right now all she could think about was sealing with a kiss. Hand on her waist urged the woman closer. If Azlin complied Spider's arm would slip around her entirely and they'd be chest to chest. It was over a month since Spider had been so close to a woman. Years longer that it was a woman other than her wife. Zalina was a pitiful whimper in Spider's thoughts as she connected her lips to Azlin's.

The desire made Spider's lips hot. Boiling pleasure exploring the lips of a goddess. This was no peck if she had anything to say about it. Spider wanted to make sure their promises were strongly, sensuously sealed.

Being whom she was, the touches were rather welcomed, it was attention. She craved attention. She still had not touched Spider, yet. There still was no flinching, just a little bit more of leaning towards. "I was on the first floor, but now I reside on the third." It was a trip she had made to keep her daughter near, and yet give her space, while they got to know each other.

When Spiders head bent, Az's followed suit. Pick one and tell her about them, well where to start. It had been so long, and her memory, well she would do her best. "Now it has been a while since I have been around other creatures." It was true, unless one counted humans, her children or her friend with benefits. He was another God, so she did not think he counted. "We will start with a werewolf. When they are properly broken in, they make excellent lovers. Even though they like to mark their territory." A small roll of her eyes. She had a feeling that was the wolf part, and she did not know if the females were the same as the men. "They usually take what they want." When they were more dominant then sub servant. In her mind if a werewolf was not dominant they were broken.

To make matters perhaps not any better for Spider, for Azlin was not used to those with such a gift to touch her, her head tilted back just a bit, her lids closing. Only for a moment, while she got used to the new feeling coming from Spider's fingers. Then her lids would open, as she righted her head, to look at Spider.

It took a moment, for Az to figure out if Spider had agreed or had disagreed with her promise. And then the words, that sealed it, Spider thought the promise was a good one. A smile touched Az's lips. Though that look was just missed, the eyes that was. She had noticed that, and she was careful on her own to keep her gaze from finding Spiders. It was something new but she had a feeling that their was a reason for it. So at least the woman was not alone.

The hand that was sending sensations through her waist, urged her closer and closer she went, until they were chest to chest. That was a strange new feeling to Azlin, but she was not shying away. In fact, her arms finally moved, she figured now she would be able to touch with out the woman shying away. She was the sort that liked to touch back when she was touched. Her arm opposite of the one that Spider had wrapped around her would move gently at first to see if the woman shied at all. If she did not that arm would move to hold Spider close, finger tips brushing against her side.

Her other hand lifted to trace up Spider's side, and along the arm that the hand was upon the back of Az's neck. Her hand kept going up until her fingers cupped Spider's cheek just so, before they made their way to the back of Spider's neck. If her hair was in the way, the fingers would work to slip underneath, pressing fingertips lightly against the soft flesh there. She had never touched a fae before, that she knew of, or a fae / wizard, so she could not tell what the woman would feel. Some felt a twinkle of pleasure in the most innocent of touches. Some felt nothing. Everyone had their own describing.

Had she kissed a girl before, yes, but she was always fully dressed and that's all it was a brief kiss. This was not like any of those brief kisses. Nor was it one that she was pushing to break off from. So Spider was getting what she wanted in that aspect. Spider seemed to be more of a dominating sort, and for now, that was fine for Az, she would follow Spider's lead in the kiss. Her own lips nimble under Spiders, for a moment or two. Before she sucked upon Spider's lower lip, gently before once more following the woman's lead.

If one was going to experiment in things, who better then a beautiful stranger?

[The Spider]

Words were spoken but all of Spider was in the kiss. How close their bodies were. Where her hands touched and where Azlin chose to touch back. She knew her own frustrations that were building since Zalina's disappearance. But she didn't know how much she needed this contact and intimacy until now. How much she needed to hold and be held. She didn't shy away. She did the opposite.

Kisses speak as clearly as words. Spider's hot tingling lips spoke now through firm rolling movements. Need, but also excitement. Exploration. When the goddess touched her in return a soft hot exhale tickled between their lips. A little moan when Azlin suckled her lip. She tilted her head. Nuzzling her nose into the woman's cheek. Pressing a kiss to the corner of the goddess' mouth. "I've never been to the third floor. Show it to me."

She didn't mean now. Now was a different kind of showing. Spider's reconnected her lips with the goddess'. A slower more suggestive movement of lips. Tongue peaking out, she used it to tickle Azlin's lower lip. This exchange felt different than all her other times with women. Usually her buzz ruled those moments. But through the caress of Azlin's fingers and lips she felt a buzz that wasn't hers. It made her own stronger, because curiosity fueled desire. She liked this woman, this radiant woman who was the farthest thing from a vanilla human as one could possibly get.

It was time to stray. She kissed twice on Azlin's jaw. To the neck. There her lips kissed and suckled at the same time. She rolled her head so her cheek rested on Azlin's shoulder. Eyes admiring the curve of the woman's neck and the contours of her ear and how strands of hair fell over that. "Werewolves. Father is an expert in them back home. They use to leave devastation in their wake and were remorseless. Until he stepped in. But I don't think even he truly knows how to break them in."

As Spider said that exploring hands broke new ground. One sank deeper into the water to the small of Azlin's back. Inching down towards the backside with a pet of strongly tingling fingers. Her other hand, it pulled forward. Back around Azlin's neck stroking down the shoulder blade. How could Spider keep her promise unless she found the places where her hands were not wanted?

If Spider would of shied away, Azlin would of been a bit confused, and her curiosity would of came out in the form of questions. She had kissed girls before, but not like this, and not when she had no clothing on. Not that she was complaining. How could one be the daughter of Aphrodite and not explore things that not all would say was natural or normal? She saw nothing wrong with what was going on.

The kiss felt different then when she had kissed anyone else. She liked it. When Spider broke the kiss, and spoke, Az blinked a moment. It took that moment to realize that the woman wasn't speaking of right that moment. That would of been a bit odd, might of even changed the reaction at the falls. Her head gave a nod to the reply, of course, she could and would show Spider the third floor rooms, at another time.

As she had took the moment for what Spider to sink in, before her mouth could open to speak her lips were once more claimed. As it was a new feeling, she was not exactly protesting, in fact the hand that had wrapped around Spider's waist gave a little squeeze. As Spiders tongue darted out to tickle Az's bottom lip, after a moment, Az's lips would part slightly, enough for her tongue to slip out, brush against Spiders, then hide once more. A tease of sorts perhaps?

And then Spiders mouth was moving, Az's hand that had been upon Spider's neck moved softly, down along her back, fingers caressing gently, but not overly light. Spider would know exactly where Azlin's hands were. Due to her past experiences, when Spider's lips pressed to her neck, her head moved slightly. Habit. Did that mean that Az would stay still? She wouldn't of but then Spider was talking, and she was paying attention. A thoughtful look that may or may not of been seen. "Indeed, it takes quite a bit." At least she had always thought so.

When Spider's hands began to move, she did not stiffen, her form stayed relaxed. As relaxed as one could be when hands were starting to explore and they had such a delicious tickling feeling wherever they did go. As Spider's head had been resting with her cheek against Azlin's shoulder she did not try to shake her from her spot. But she did turn her head just so with a lowering pressing her lips to the side of Spider's lips. Her hands were pressing against Spider, almost as if she did not want Spider to quit, at least not yet.

Words, came out softly, but they did not have to be loud to reach Spider's ears. "Might not be hard to keep such a promise." She of course was speaking of Spider's promise not to put her hands anywhere that they were not wanted.

[The Spider]

Spider didn't mean right now. Her demand to be shown the third floor was her way of setting up a future meeting. They hadn't parted ways yet and she was already interested in seeing this goddess again. Curiosity got the best of her just as much as her desire. This was not how she expected a deity to behave. Wizard were inquiring beings. Always seeking answers. Of every kind.

The touch of tongues, the squeeze of hips. She was glad to have come here today. This is not how she expected her time in the water to be spent. She didn't expect Azlin's words about her promise of hands either. "Mm." Smile of suggestive promise that Azlin wouldn't see. The changeling was still toying with the radiant woman's neck. Kisses, suckles. A light long lick up to her earlobe. There she murmured into her water mate's ear. "Easily kept promises are my favorite."

The rest of what was said and done by Spider, that is not meant for other eyes to see.
