As he listened to her short life story, form would move from his leaning back position to more leaning against the arm of the chair. Right arm bending to support body. Head tilted to the side just a bit as hues looked to her as she spoke. Without even thinking about it fingers would be mindlessly twirling around each other.

Well, I think what you just said is more interesting then anything I can offer. I travel. Don't really have a home. I grew up with a family that took me in. Never knew my real parents. Been on the road since I was eight. Don't know anything different. I simply move from place to place as i feel. It's actually quite pleasant. Never have to worry about people caring for me or letting them down. I work for a while, get me some funds, then just move on.

He would smirk just a bit. Nodding his head.

No one for me either. Sure I've had a few, but never really tied myself down. Life's simpler like that.

Yes, it was more complicated then that, but he would spare her those details.

She nods at his tale.

"Looks as though we do have a bit in common. No ties, traveling, which is new for me, but I do enjoy it."

She looks forward to a simple life, but is it ever, really?

"Now, money...that's a different story..." She smiles. "I have to look into that a bit."

It is enjoyable. I could give you a few tips, though. The road can be a bit tough. But from the looks of ya, you most likely can handle yourself.

That smile would be remaining over crimsons. Ah yes, money. That wonderful little thing that keeps the world in flow. Its actually terrible the way everything relies on the stuff. But, it was the nature of the beast. You either run with it, become a slave to the world, or you create your own rules. A rebel. Was he a rebel? Well, I guess you could say that in some ways. Really he just liked breaking the norm. Hence why all the different skill sets. For a brief moment those coals would look around the room again. This place certainly have a way about its decor. Oh it was nice, sure. But it at the same time could use so much more. Meh, guess that's for everyone else to do as they wish with their own rooms. He'll have to think on that for his own. that is, if he stuck around for more then a few weeks.

Well, not sure what your skills are, but we really aren't that far from the city. So I am sure you can find something there. And then, if any of those skills fit in around the Inn, I believe you can work off the cost of stay. That's what i'm doing while i'm here.

Truth be told, she was getting tired of traveling....at least for the moment. She hadn't been here long, but was enjoying herself, and relaxing was very nice.

"I can handle myself, but it gets tiring having to do it all the time...." Smiles...

Well, then it seems like you found the right place. There's no shame in laying low for a while, even if it's just for your own good and not...well...forced.

With those words he would grin over to her, hinting just a bit that he might of had a story to go along with those words. He would even chuckle lightly, remembering a certain situation. But, that would be a drunken story for another time. However, he would perk brow just a bit at the mysterious answer of hers. Sure he did the same thing.....but that was a one way street. Or so his game went.

Then what exactly do you put your mind to?

She smiles at that question.

"Before I answer that, I have a question for you. Given what you just said, are you laying low or just hanging around?"

She folds her legs under and puts her elbows on her knees, looking him in the eye.

Right in the eye. And her positioning made it that much easier. Of course those coals would take note. But he would look right back at her, that grin returning as he leaned forward just a bit in chair. Fingers interlocking, elbows digging into thighs just above knees. Oh he could give her so many answers. Some just for the fact of having fun. Others from a vast array of slight truths. Which would it be? Well....he has just met her. So......

This time......simply relaxing. No need to lay low this time...that I know of......yet.

That last bit was delivered with a light chuckle. And a quick wink to follow just for good measure. He was starting to warm up to her. However...was that really a good thing?

She laughed at that last comment and the look he gave her.

"Well, that's good to hear." Smiles lightly.

"As far as answering your question.....I can put my mind to a lot of things...good and bad, I guess." She shrugs and smiles.

She was enjoying this conversation with him. Their senses of humor seem to mesh pretty well. This could be promising...

Besides, if I was laying low, I would be more careful then to let myself be so clumsy and start dropping things. And then I would just be completely daft to stick around and clean it up. I'm gutsy, not stupid.

So yes, she got the more truthful of answers. Albeit a more playful of answers, but that was his style once the mood strikes. Still smirking to her, he would look from her to the window. Starting to wander how her view from the second floor was, he would push his form up from the chair and start walking to that big window that this Inn was famous for. Stepping up, hands would let thumbs dangle from pockets of those deathly tight leathers. Hues looking down to the grounds outside. Head turning, seeing all the details that he missed from his own. That is until she spoke those words. Looking over his shoulder back to her, dark locks danced just under his ear.

Well that sounds interesting. How many drinks do you need before I get to hear those details?

She watched him as he walked to the window. The view from the window is wonderful, not that the view from where she sat was worse...she smiles to herself.

"I can see that..."

She laughs when he asks her that. "Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I guess that would be something to find out...." She smiles and continues to watch him...

Was that.....a challenge? Was she wandering the same thing he was, and not giving it a second thought as to why? Hmmm. Interesting. Well, with all of a sudden not interested at all in the window or its view, he would be turning to fully face her. Taking a side step, he would start to lean body up against where wall and window meet. Arms coming up to cross over chest as eyes looked to her.

Really now? Well, maybe at some point we should pay a visit to the bar. Or I might have a small collection back in my room. I think I.....acquired a few bottles the last time I was wandering around the place. Oh, that reminds me, if you really are a fighter, I hear this place has a gym to practice and such.

That was a random thought, but he had to keep it light. He was forward with his words quite often, but liked to follow them up with other random thoughts. Helped keep people on their toes.

She watched him turn fully towards her and smiled to herself. Definitely worth looking at....

"It's been a while, actually, since I've had a drink. But, I'm up for that. I do need to work out a bit at a gym, I do what I can while I travel, but proper equipment, etc... is sometimes needed."

She stretched out her legs and leaned back on her elbows, smiling.

Oh he recognized that look. In fact, he would recognize it even more if he just looked into the mirror. That smirk that played over crimsons continued to linger as he looked over to her, watching her form lean back a bit as they conversed. That is wat they were still doing, right? Or had the game started?

Well then, I think a trip to te bar is required. Inless the mystery bottles in the room sound more appealing? As for the gym, like I said I have only heard talk of it. Never been there myself, so I am unsure as to what it has to offer.

It seemed no matter what her answer was, they would be leaving soon. So, he would push his form off of the wall, figuring it no longer needed him holding it up. But not really walking towards his former chair, he walked more over to where she was laying back on the bed. Standing a bit distance away looking to her, awaiting the answer. But, like the gentleman he was....or....at least like he pretended to be.... his right hand was extended out to her in order to offer her help up.

It didn't take a whole lot to decipher the look that he gave her. She seemed to be thinking the same thing, or at least she hoped... She watched as hemoved towards her and extended his hand... Nodding, she sat up a bit, took his hand and stood. She ended up much closer than she expected....she smiled as she looked in his eyes...

Is it getting hot in here? I hadn't noticed. Maybe you should keep your window open. Air flow can do wonders.

His words would be accompanied with a wink. Those coals locked into her as he stood there. Hand holding hers would hesitate letting go. Sure they were standing pretty close. Close enough to pop those bubbles people generally like keeping. Well, that really wasnt an issue for him, and he would blame her stance on her, not that he was complaining. However, going easy on her, he would step back after a moment of mind torture. Still smirking he looked to her then to the room.

Do you wish to change or anything, or are you good to go out for a while as you are? Not saying you don't look just fine as is, just sayin.

As he stepped back, she took inventory of what she was wearing and deemed it appropriate. Yes, she probably did stand a bit closer than she intended, but things happen... She smiled...

"I think I'm dressed appropriately enough." She looked toward the window..."I think I'll keep them closed for now..." She smiled at him.

Well....appropriate all depends on the situation. But for the bar, yes. Alright. Then shall we?

Oh he loved his word games. Unfortunetaly, he was rather good at them and often got him into a lot of trouble. Hence the whole laying low conversation. But, see that she was ready, that smiling face would turn to start walking towards the door. Though he would look back to make sure she really was ready and was coming along.

Um....do you mind if I leave this mess here? I promise I will take it when me when we come back. I...I think I wanna dispose of that after nightfall. Probably best for all parties. Then we can tend to your own flowers, if you want to keep them that is.

"I agree, appropriate for the bar, yes" She smiles and follows him to the door. She grabs the key to the room on her way by the table.

"No problem with leaving that here. We can take care of it later. I assume no one will just come in here...."

She glances at the flowers on the table and smiles. "As long as they are still living, I'll keep the flowers"

Well I would assume no one would simply come through here without you being present. I may be wrong, but that's not the sense I have gotten since being here. I'm sure it'll be fine.

When he got to the door he would open and turn to look back to her. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself. The reasoning was yet to be determined, but there it was. Now, since he was trying to make a good impression, he would normally open the door for her. However, since it was her room, he decided to go ahead and head out first to allow her to do as she wished as they exited. Stepping out into the hallway, body would spin and await her.

So what do you like to do for fun? You can't merely stay indoors the whole time with a book or something. This world has waaay too much to offer to put yourself through that.

As she turned back towards the door, she noticed he seemed to laugh. She shrugged and continued to the door. She followed him into the hallway then closed the door and locked it. She turned and faced him.

"Well, as cliche as it sounds...I'm pretty much up for anything. I would like to explore the area, sometime."

She stepped a bit closer and motioned towards the stairs and smiled.. "Shall we?"

Nodding his head, he would offer out his hand for her. Now, it was up to her to take it or not, and he would go with it from there, but he decided to do it at that point seeing as how....well....he liked pushing his limits. Testing the waters as it were. But regardless her reaction, he would steer them down the stairs towards the bar. Oh yes, he knew right where that bar was. And the kitchen. And they will forever be engrained in his mind about this place due to his first experience stepping through its doors. Good times good times.

I'm sure that can be arranged. I'm still learning the place myself, but that don't mean I have to stumble upon things by myself. So let me know when you would like to and I would love to be your escort.
Looking over to her he would show off that sly smirk again. Booted feet hitting the stairs as they traveled down to the main level.

She notices that he extends his hand to her. Why not....? She hesitates slightly, then takes his hand. Seems like a good idea, considering she does not know where the bar is anyway....

She smiles.. "Thank you, I would enjoy having you as my escort. Stumbling upon things is half the fun..." She winks at him as they head down the stairs.

And as her hand met his, fingers would lightly wrap around her wrist. No, he would not let fingers entwine with hers. That's a signal for later. But, walking hand in hand, he would guide her into the bar. Inside the wide open room, those hues started looking around. He didn't know many people. But it was good to see who else might be around.

Oh I would agree. The unknown has a certain appeal to it. Though, most of the time its a good thing, there are a few instances that could turn bad. But, you never know until you get out there. But don't worry, i'll make sure you have a.....fun time.

He sent her a smirk then, returning that wink. Bringing them to the bar, he would motion towards a stool. Awww look, it's that gentlemen stuff again.

He takes her hand and they walk into the bar. She looks around as they enter.

She glances at him..." I'm sure you will...." She smiles and laughs softly.

They head over to the bar and he motions towards one of the bar stools. She sits and continues to look around. "So, what's good here?"

That smirk continued to play against lips. Nodding to her little comment and her laugh, the stool next to hers would be claimed with a swing of the leg. Her hand being released, his form would turn to face her, as well as be able to look more at the room around them. His right hand started to ligtly beat on the bar top. Perhaps sounding like some tune he heard somewhere before, nothing that would stand out. Those orbs of his moving from her, to the room, then back.

Currently? He paused at that, grinning... Well, I know they have any drink you can possibly imagine. Even some that you probably couldn't. Then the food, I havn't had too much interaction with that aspect, but they have a great steak. Though, I guess that would depend on who prepairs it.

And again, an unknown smirk would play along crimsons as he looked around again, eyes passing over the door that led to the kitchen.

I suggest we get the night started off right. Whiskey?
