§ About the Note §
DeRyannas fingers tapped against the letter that she held and her lips pressed into a slight frown as she finished reading. She had come to her room only a little while ago to find the letter waiting for her with her name written across the top. There were not many who wrote her about anything and the author of this letter was one that she certainly did not expect, the contents of it was another matter. How she felt about it all wasnt disclosed to anyone but one, and that one was without choice.
It was requested of her that she contact her mother and give her a message, so that is what she was going to do. Never let it be said that she never did anything that he requested. She went to dresser and pulled out the bottom drawer. Reaching into the back she pulled out a necklace with three items hanging from it: a cats-eye gem, a silver heart locket, and a crystal. It was the crystal that she reached for and singled out from the other two and as she held it she felt it throb in her hand. Why her mother had given her this necklace she didnt know but she had only used it once before to contact her, and that was years ago. DeRyanna rubbed her thumb against the crystal and said, Bekisnhlekil. It wasnt something anyone could say, took a talented or flexible tongue. Good thing she had one.
As she lowered the necklace a silver thread of light cut the space before her and Airtia stepped out from it. Someone better be dying. Came the cautionary tone from the newly arrived.
Father is apparently by the sounds of that note. DeRyanna handed over the letter she had been given and crossed her arms at the waist.
Taking the letter Airtia gave it a quick scan before she folded it up to turn it back over to her daughter with a small shrug of her shoulder. e tis yer father. es always dying.
DeRyanna took the letter back and deposited it in her drawer with the other notes she has collected over the years. You certainly seem to be taking the note well Mother, she closed the drawer and passed her hand over it to put an intrusion ward in place. Been through this before? Chuckling a bit as she turned and pushed her back against the furniture.
Wheres Tyger Airtia wondered as she took a glance around her daughters room. es suppose tae be ere. And, I could say the same fer ye. e tis yer father. The way it was said DeRyanna almost thought she was being accused of something and she frowned. I believe there are enough people loosing their minds over this as it is and the only logical thing to do would be to keep a steady head.
Exactly. Besides, Airtia smiled a bit as she turned to look at the rooms door. Yer brother tis coming.

Re: § About the Note §
The woman never ceases to amaze. He had barely gotten to the top of the stairs, checking the room number as he walked down the hall. "Room 204...yeah, here it is. Wait....I didn't know she was across the hall from me." Good thing he had behaved himself since arriving, as well as not really being in his room much. De'Ryanna had a nasty habit of tattle-tale leanings, and he had no reason to assume that she wouldn't still do so if it suited her.
For a moment, he looked at the door, as if waiting for it to swing open and his sister to come out holding a dagger. With a shrug and a sigh, he raised his hand and knocked on the door. His eyes went to Titania, and he smiled. "I believe you already met my sister, De'Ryanna. My mother might be here as well, but I don't know. She sometimes has business far away, and she comes and goes. Anyway, you'll like her. She can seem distant, but she's a tough woman. Kind, too, if the mood strikes her." He smiled again, feeling a little anxious. "Light..Ryan! It's me! Open up, it's important!"

Re: § About the Note §
On the car ride there, she did not try to get him to talk, she knew that he needed to think. Feeling as if she tried to get conversation out of him, that his thoughts might slightly drift from the matter at hand, and that was not what she wanted. When he grasped her hand and said what he did she smiled over at him. "Of course." Now they had only had what two dates, and a slumber party, per say, maybe more than that, but she liked him, so when he asked she went with him. That's what you did right?
She followed him to the door, stairs and all, still not really talking his ear off. Actually, truth be told that was still the quietest she remembered him being, the ride over and the way up the steps. Laughing. "I shall have to befriend your sister, for when we aren't together." A small imp, just a jest perhaps, but that didn't last long, when circumstances weren't the best, she often made little jests. If she was comfortable with the person.
A small nod, "I met De'Ryanna the other day, in the bar. Offered to help clean up after you guys." It was true, she had, even if she didn't take Titania up on the offer and instead sent her on her way with Damon. A small nod of her head, rather preparing herself, by telling herself she was here for the moral support of the man standing next to her. Surely she could handle that right?

Re: § About the Note §
"And he is brought a friend."
Moments after her mother had said that Xavier was coming he was there, simply standing outside her door as though he expected something to happen. Along with his scent was that of the female she met the other day at the bar. Hmm, she's here again, the thought tucked away in her head for another time. While he was standing on the other side of her door waiting for some sort invitation to enter, she was waiting for a knock and stayed where she was with her back against the dresser. she only assumed that he was waiting for her to open it for him, just has he had expected her to open his. The chance of that happening was highly unlikely; and this was made more so by the way he knocked at her door.
De'Ryanna looked over to her mother, her attention drawn there because she saw her pull a covered item out from behind her back. Curious as to what it was she opened her mouth to ask but was cut off. "Ye would think that 'e would 'ave learned some manners a'ter all these years." Airtia spoke as calmly and with a nonchalant attitude as ever. De'Ryanna could never tell what she was thinking and it was something that picked her nerves, especially since the rest of the lot were so readable.
"You don't have to yell, Xavier," trying to copy her mothers attitude as she left the dresser to head to the door. Her attempt at it the impersonation wasn't the best. She turned the knob and pulled open the door, setting her eyes on her brother first. "You wouldn't want to make a bad impression to your mate, now would you?" Her words ended with a smile and she turned it to Titania. "Hello again."
She stepped away from the door leaving it for him to hold open for his guest. "Mother said you were coming."

Xavier sighed, shaking his head. "Remind me sometime to explain the difference to ya, Rye." Smirk. Yes, he knew she despised the nickname, but he didn't mind. He placed his hand on the door, motioning for Titania to, if she wanted, walk in ahead of him. "Hello, Mother. I see you're back from Light only knows where." He paused here, smiling slightly so she would know he was joking. "Dad is apparently in trouble. Also, it seems that Madeline was in the wrong place at the wrong time....she's been taken by whoever is after Dad. I've been trying to come up with something, but since Kyra was with Madeline at the time, she was taken as well. That means that we've got Dad and his near-brother primed to paste this person all across the countryside, and Mom, I should tell you, I felt something odd this morning."
He paused, wondering how to proceed. She didn't know that he could feel the Source, and he wasn't sure how she'd take the news. "I can't touch the Source, but I can feel it. It's like...I don't know. I can feel disturbances in it, and I felt Dad get cut off from it. Almost like, if I had to guess, he had been Gentled. I've seen people get cut off from the Source, and it never goes well. They usually get suicidal, or worse, go mad. So....what do we do?" He was open to input, and he was hoping that Airtia did not take the news badly.

Re: § About the Note §
His mate? That got a look from her over to Xavier. Perhaps a bit of a raised brow. They hadn't even classified if they were anything or not. At least not to her knowledge, she was just being a good friend, or something right? Right! She would offer a smile to De'Ryanna. "Hey." She was thinking of saying bye at the door, and that look would cross her features, but then he motioned for her to enter the room. Not wanting to upset him, she made her way into the room, before him. "Thank you." She was going to be quiet.
So, with her being in the room, she would be quiet and just observe everything. That was probably the best thing to do.Wasn't it? Besides she heard a few stories about Xavier's family so she figured it best to just watch.

Re: § About the Note §
From behind her back she had pulled out an item, it was in a leather sheath etched with three runes and from the look and shape it was clear to be a dagger. The handle in one hand as she slowly twisted the sheathed tip into the pad of her middle finger on her other hand. Airtia's head was slightly lowered as she watched her daughter move over and open the door and when the two came in her position didn't change in the least.
However, the first statement that came out of her sons mouth brought the twisting dagger to a stop. His comment about where she had been was slightly reprimanding. That dagger started to twist again as she listened to him carry on. That he could feel the Source didn't surprise her, he was in the immediate direct line of two strong Channelers - if it couldn't feel anything at all then there may have been a problem.
First thing first, get civility out of the way. "'Ello, friend 'o Xavier's." Her silver eyes had turned to regard the woman her son had brought with her but she made no move to approach either of them. "Xavier," continuing, her eyes now shifting to him. "It does ye nae good tae speak like a child or tae be roused by the situation. Ye ave been trained better." Or he should have been.
"Yer father 'as died b'fore and returning from the o'ter side can nae be any worse than loosing the Source." She stopped twisting the dagger again and held it still with her finger still against the tip. "Since Dreconis tis involved he should be able tae find his daughter, finding yer sister as well." She knew the exact time and place where the bond was severed and but that info would be saved.
"Come here Xavier." Airtia motioned to him with the dagger.

Re: § About the Note §
Xavier was trying to figure out exactly why his mother was pulling the ice-queen act with him, and failed. He hadn't been unpleasant, after all. It was his way of welcoming her back distilled by the many times in his life she was away, plus forged with the knowledge that she wasn't going to even hint at where she had been. He saw the item in her hand, and curiosity stole over his features. "You will forgive me, Mother. I grew unaccustomed to the happenings of this realm. I have been, and this thought causes me no small amount of reluctance due to it's implications, in a world that just made more sense. People died and, unless Balefire or Forsaken were involved, stayed dead, friends sought to bury daggers in the backs of friends, nobles traded commoners like chess pieces, and those with power sought more power....simpler times. You knew where you stood, even if your near-brother had a dagger to your neck and all of his Aiel buddies got the joke that had gone over your head." He shook his head. "That you have grown accustomed enough to the death of a loved one to the point of flippance speaks of a hard life, Mother. I apologize if my words were abrasive." He was still getting used to the idea of having a father, and she expected him to shrug off something of this nature? Light, he thought, Dad was right, she -is- a hard woman! At any rate, burn it all, he would control his temper this time. He would not give his sister the satisfaction of being smug because her "lout" of a brother had lost his temper again.
Calm slipped across his features, the calm that came from one tutored in the art of battle. This was just another battle, the stakes are merely a little closer to home. He had seen friend and foe alike kill and die a few feet away, so he knew of risks and such. Why, then, did he have such a feeling of trepidation? There was an air of foreboding in the way she called him over. He knew it wasn't for hugs or cookies....his mother had never been one for either. "You are correct, I have been trained to ignore my emotions, Mother. I just don't like to. I'd rather not be a heartless beast. Can't help the beast part, so heartless? No thanks. Besides, we already have De'Ryanna." He knew that Ryan would be chewing on her belt in private later, so mission accomplished. He forged ahead, though, and stepped over to his mother, looking her in the eye and smiling. Quietly, standing close to his mother, he whispered. "Sorry, Mother. I can practically feel Ryan smirking. I'd appreciate it if you didn't murder me." Said with sincerity. He didn't want his mother to be angry, but at the same time he didn't want his sister getting over on him again. He could tell him Mom about the time Tyger had mysteriously woke up with a shaved tail and a red mohawk, and who was really responsible, but, well, he was saving that for a rainy day.

Re: § About the Note §
When his mother did say hello to her, she would give a small smile, for really it wasn't exactly the time for big smiles and life stories. "Hello. I'm Titania." Not that the woman needed her name, but she thought she should supply it, she did not wish to be rude. And boy's never remembered those things.
First he sounded like he was questioning his mother, about her whereabouts in a odd way, something she had a feeling was not the best move. Then he was talking her ear off. A small grin tripped her lips upwards, because she was glad that she wasn't the only one, that got his mouth running. Though a part of her wanted to reach over and cover his mouth before it wrote a check that his mom was going to have to take out of his hide. But that was not her place, so she did not make such a move, though her chocolate gaze did look to De'Ryanna, before she lifted her hand to cover her mouth, in a fake move of covering a yawn.
Now his mother's words might of surprised some, but something about the woman and the way of her movements and the words, well it didn't. She did not seem the type of woman that wore emotions on her sleeve. And if she was as powerful and such as Xavier had said, that made perfect sense to her. Part of her was watching to see if Xavier lived after walking over to his mom, morbid maybe? She hoped he did....if that counted for anything.

Re: § About the Note §
Xavier knew he had spoken wrongly. While pride was a dangerous thing for most, he felt that it was one of the few things he had a right to. After all, he had been in the thick of things at the Border for at least ten Trolloc raids, and had been one of the very few to come out unscathed. He felt that he had the right to be proud of that. Instead, he felt ashamed. "Listen, Mom, De'Ryanna, I apologize. Things have been strained since I returned, and I'll back off now, but first, I have to explain myself. I did not get a leave, not even a discharge. The Borderlanders were using my Aiel allies as target practice, and I took action. I killed three of them, and saw to it that the rest knew what would happen if the situation repeated itself. My near-brother told me I acted recklessly, and he was right. I will be returning there to him to offer myself to him as gai'shain. I will not live without honor, and if my toh to him is great, I will put on the white and be his servant for the year and the day. I only ask that you hear me out in this."
He paused, shooting an apologetic I'm-not-always-a-jackass-around-my-family look to Titania. After that, he looked back to Airtia. "I was out of line, and I am sorry. Having the ability to feel the Source and know that I can never touch it is maddening that way. I see the things you and De'Ryanna can do, the things Father can do, Light, even the things the Asha'men can do, and they are strangers.....and it makes me feel inferior. I am not accustomed to these feelings, and I handle them poorly. So, I will clear out of here if such is your wish and let you proceed without me. Just please try to understand things from my point of view. I'm dealing with this, plus the fact that the day I've secretly dreamed of finally coming, that being finally meeting the man that is my true Father, and I'm really trying. You know how easy changing forms came to me, not to mention the mastery of the sword along with so many other martial skills, so is it really that much of a surprise that this causes me a level of internal conflict that I am not able to deal with in a healthy manner?"
He stopped, knowing he was monologuing. A hand went up to run through his hair, a thing he did when he was uneasy. "I'm sorry, Mom. You too, Ryan. I'm just....I don't know. Light, nothing is ever easy. I just met the man, and now he's fighting for his life and that of my newly-discovered sister? This is a lot to deal with, and I have never been the coolest head in the crowd." He gave his head a shake. "I am glad you came back, Mom. Really. I did not mean any disrespect." Another sigh escaped him as he looked down.

Re: § About the Note §
When Xavier started to speak DeRyannas eyes crept wide and only got wider the more he spoke. If he had chanced a glance in his direction he may have been her very lightly shaking her head. If she could or if she had thought about it she would have put a seal over his mouth to stop the flow of words. She knew that they were going to cause an adverse effect on their mother. Nothing special needed.
Unfortunately for him, Xavier talked, and then he added more on to what he said and DeRyanna was doing her very best to stay out of it. Their mother may not be a very visually emotional person but what she did know of her was that she was not a person to take lightly. She saw her mother stay completely still through her brothers monologue of words and the apology at the end but she didnt think that it was enough. Ryanna focused her attention on a visual spot on the wall that seemed overly interesting at the moment.
The room was quiet after Xavier spoke and Airtia only regarded him with her eyes, one hand still on the daggers hilt and the other on the sheathed tip. It stayed this way for a few moments that may have seemed longer than they actually were, but then she moved. It was a very small gesture: the fingers closed around the sheath of the dagger and both hands pulled outward, the soft sound of leather moving finally breaking the silence in the room. Airtias silver eyes had locked upon her son when he did as she asked and stepped forward and even as her hand moved her eyes stayed trained. The daggers blade was soon revealed, a smoothly cut and clear crystal, reflecting even the light in the room. Cut through the blade were the same rune markings that were on the sheath: Uruz, Kenaz, and Algiz, in that order.
Airtia lowered the daggers sheath and turned the blade upon her son. If he was wise he wouldnt move as she took fluid steps to him and pressed the fine tip of the dagger against his neck, just to the side of the jugular. She was well aware of Titania in the room but she would have to save her return pleasantries for now. There tis something ye should know, Xavier, she spoke just below a whisper, his ears should be able to hear it perfectly. Just because she spoke in a quiet tone did not lessen the meaning of her words. Iffen ye were nae my son, ye would be dead right now.
But that is not where it ended, for Airtia stepped in closer and if Xavier were still standing in that spot the dagger tip would press in more to his skin, the tip making a slight turn against his skin like it had been doing on her finger when it was still sheathed. Ye are nae my equal and would do well tae remember that. As she spoke to him her hand stayed steady and her voice still at the same octave. Being a Lycan ya should know that unless yer father as been killed he can rejuvenate, much faster than ye yerself, and e tis nae dead.
The sharp point of the dagger would drag against the flesh of his skin maybe even enough to draw blood as she re- sheathed it in one motion. Ye say that ye will nae live without honor yet ye speak tae yer own family as ye did when there tis a stranger amongst us. Airtia said nothing of herself and her honor and felt no ways about her action in the room.
She turned from him and went to place the dagger upon DeRyannas dresser. The blade tis yers. Iffen and when yer father needs ye, he will let ye know fer he tis nae weak man that needs a barrage o men tae elp fight a battle. With her words she began to the door. Iffen he fails and dies ye will know.
DeRyanna didnt move when her mother past her, though she did look up towards her brother to look at him. Airtia stopped when she neared Titania and spoke to her. Ave a strong arm.
And that is when she would open the door to leave, she was easy to catch if there was a need.

Re: § About the Note §
Xavier stood motionless, admiring the dagger that was now pressed to his throat. His eyes narrowed, but a slight smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. "That's a great piece of work, Mom. You, uh, do realize that I've been hanging out with the Aiel quite a bit, right?" As she spoke, he grew silent once again, remaining calm and waiting for her to withdraw the dagger. Once it was in his hands, and she had begun to move toward the door, he sighed. "Yes, I am fully aware of that, Mother Dearest, but I still am as yet uncertain as to what this weapon is for. Even so, thank you." He smiled again, testing the weight of the weapon before placing it back in its sheath and sticking it into the loop of his belt.
His eyes grew wide when he heard what she said to Titania, but he smiled soon after. That was almost a welcome, coming from his mother. He walked over to where Titania stood, holding out a hand and shaking his head. "I did not mention Mom's sense of humor. Sorry." He would then turn his head to look to De'Ryanna. "So, kid sister, anything you'd like to share? I'm guessing you and Mom already knew about what was going on with Father, so would you mind catching me up?" His tone was level and sincere, He knew that angering his twin would only be counter-productive, and that he had already shown a level of jackassery that was pretty hard to ignore. So, he would wait silently, hoping that De'Ryanna would be forthcoming.

His tone was level and sincere, He knew that angering his twin would only be counter-productive, and that he had already shown a level of jackassery that was pretty hard to ignore. So, he would wait silently, hoping that De'Ryanna would be forthcoming.

Re: § About the Note §
Silent, she was good at being quiet, though she could not step back into a wall and hide here. That would of been for the best. Instead she blinked, that would be the only outward emotion flickering across her features, when he spoke of leaving for a year and a day. Things one learned when they just listened. She saw that look, and well two out of two instances she had seen him with his family, he had been just that, a jackass. Perhaps that should be a warning sign? Was she the sort of girl that followed those signs?
She heard some of the things, though it wasn't on purpose, she wasn't trying to listen to words between the two. Somethings were hard not to hear though. And then Airtia was leaving. When she stopped near Titania, she did not flinch back, seriously if the woman wanted to harm her, she wouldn't of needed to be near her. A nod of her head, when Airtia spoke her words. She would of smiled but it wasn't the time or the place for that.
She did cast a glance to Ryan, she did wonder what the girl was thinking. But then Xavier had walked over next to her. And perhaps she did misunderstand what Airtia had said, but she wasn't going to disobey the woman. So she lifted her arm, hand open, and pimp slapped Xavier. Unless he used his reflexes to move away. Then she would look to Ryan. "Sorry." I mean the girl wasn't super strong, but she did just apologize to his sister, for slapping him in front of her.
As for Xavier, she gave a small shake of her head, and a deep breath. "I think you need more practice with thinking before you speak." He could take that how he wished, really. It wasn't that she didn't like Xavier, as a matter of fact she was rather fond of him, but she had a feeling she was going to need a bigger leash. On the up side, she was still there.

Xavier was a bit stunned by her actions. He had been a little out of line, but that was pretty much uncalled for. He didn't lift his hand to his face, but he did look at her, meeting her gaze with one of his own. "Titania, Light knows I care for you, but you should know that you have officially used your free shot." His tone was level and precise.
After he had spoken to Titania, he turned to De'Ryanna, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'll come back another time. You'll know where I am, naturally, if and when you decide you're ready to speak with me." Another long and drawn-out look to Titania, as if to say you, too?, and he was off, stepping out of the door and walking into his own room. The door was close with a barely audible click, and he went to seat himself on the bed. He did not lock the door, but instead would sit and wait for a time, just in case someone else needed something to hit or stab.

Re: § About the Note §
When Airtia had placed the dagger down upon the dresser -before Xavier took it - De'Ryanna stole a look at the design and casing. She couldn't pick out much of it but she was able to notice two of the runes before it was gone from her view and what she saw made he raise a brow in question. Did he know what they meant? She did, and she had to wonder if he knew would have had treated the item differently.
Looking at the interactions of her family it shouldn't be any surprise why she acted the way that she did. De'Ryanna didn't say anything about what her mother or Titania did - it wasn't her place, they had their reasons for doing what they did. In the brief moment of silence she took a single step forward, Xavier had said that he wasn't sure why their mother had given him the dagger and she had thought to brush aside the spark of animosity and shed a bit of light on the reason. However, before she got a chance to speak he had turned to Titania and spoke as he did and Ryanna sighed internally. It seemed that the calm he had dressed himself in while speaking to their mother and during her response was now gone.
Then he turned his attention to her saying he would be back, and then if and when. That was partially contradictory for how would he know if she was ready to talk to him unless he came back? After his blow up at her down in the bar she had taken the initiative and gone to see him to smooth out the waters now, here they were again and it was a repeat. Only this time she would not be the one seeking him out. It was his turn.
Before was fully gone from the room she managed to say: "Take care of that dagger." And then he was gone.
There was a shadow of a polite smile on De'Ryanna's face as she clasped her hands in front of her and regarded Titana. "The fervor my brother displays must be a tribute to his feral side. The hormonal nature of a Lycan has been known to be hard to control when emotions run high." She didn't consider her words as making excuses for her brother for he could be full of his own when the occasion called for it, she was only stating what she perceived to be the reasons behind his words and actions. What else could his performance in her room be attributed to if not the wolf in him showing through?
The more she saw of it the less she wanted to let out and experience that part of her.
"Still, the exchanges you saw were not meant for an outsiders eyes. I hope it has not put too much of a damper on your day." Being raised half of her young life in Court she learned that some things were meant to be done in private so that you could continue to display and play the required public role.

Re: § About the Note §
She gave a nod of her head, when Xavier said that she had just used her one free shot. She had been a bit shocked as well of the action but it was one of those things, that maybe if she had put thought into it, it wouldn't of happened. Never said she always thought before she reacted. And when he left and she got that look, she knew exactly where she would be going after she left De'Ryanna's room, even if it was not the smartest spot for her to go.
She nodded at the words that were being spoken. "I..admit I don't know much about that side of him." Or of anyone really, he was the first one she met that said, "but that does make sense." If she thought about it. She was still a bit surprised by her actions normally she had a bit more of a normal head on her shoulders. But truthfully a part of her was scared, not that she thought that Xavier would hurt her, if he was going to he would of done did it. As soon as her hand had slapped him, if he was going to hurt her, when his tempter was up would of been the time, wouldn't it? She saw how he reacted everytime she saw him with his family, and it made her wonder if once his feelings for her deepened, if she would be treated to that side of him as well.
Not to mention the fact that he said he was going to leave for over a year and day. Did she want to care more bout him, so when he left it would be more painful? Either way, she knew she would go see him, so they could 'fix' things.
A small grin, one of those polite things. "I think I have the habit of seeing things that should not be seen by those not in the family." It wasn't really always her fault. The first time, when Xavier blew up at De'Ryanna it was because Titania herself, had horrible timing. The second time, had just happened, but she should of went with her first instinct, but something about Xavier had her not following her instincts and instead following him.
A pause, "Do you think he will calm down anytime soon?" A hint of worry in there.

Re: § About the Note §
At least what she had said made sense. Sometimes a person could never be too sure. De'Ryanna was careful - she thought - to not say anything to Titania that would be terribly damaging or cause the lady to not see Xavier -the information about his Lycan side was information she would learn about sooner or later anyway.
Now that this family bit was over with she didn't see much need to linger. She had read the note did what her Father had asked her to go, which was to tell Mother. He hadn't asked for her help and therefore was going to go on what she was told: if he needed help then he would let them know. De'Ryanna started over to her door. "I honestly cannot tell you how soon he will calm down. He's a male and I do not have much experience with them and their particular set of moods that come about after they feel they have been slighted." Which is the feeling she attributed to her brother by the manner in which he left her room. "Though a visit from you may improve his mood considerably."
The last statement, taken along with De'Ryanna's position at the door, could be taken as a subtle way in telling Titania she could leave. Or should go. However, it was also meant to be nice, in a way, as she figured the two of them to be an item. Why wouldn't a persons anger lessen when they were around someone that they had more than a curious interest in? Her own mood lightened considerably when she was with the person she liked.
"As for myself, I will be in the kitchen as there is nothing more for me to do here." Tossing out that bit of information incase Titania needed to know where Ryanna would be if Xavier asked.
It too was a way of excusing herself. Turning the door knob she opened it and waited, not blocking the way out.

And it was true, the words that De'Ryanna said, would not cause Titania to not see Xavier any more. It would take more then those words, to cause such an outlook, and well Xavier knew exactly how to cause that to happen. As it was he was the only one that could make that happen. A part of her did wonder how he was going to be when she did go and see him.
It was true, he was male, and they were a whole different type of creature! Even if they technically weren't they still were. Boys! One day she might understand them, but she was not going to hold her breath, she'd be blue in no time and no closer to the secret.
She heard the words about the kitchen, and gave a nod, she took that mental note just in case Xavier did ask. She wanted to be able to give him that. "Thank you, De'Ryanna." She didn't think she had to say what she was thanking the woman for. She would then slip out the open door, not thinking anything about it, they both had things to do.
Thinking her thing to do was going to be harder then going and working in the kitchens, a part of her wanted to see if they could trade, though she did not. Instead when she left De'Ryanna's room, she went straight to Xavier's room, where she knocked, and was admited entrance.
