Happy 34th Tasha

After Venis showed Alicia and Catrina to Ha'Ruil's room, she headed down to the Lounge. She didn't have long to do this, so it was just going to have to be done the easy way. She set the very large box of decorations and things, down on one of the tables and closed her eyes. A warm wind picked up within the room. Though it was true, she was the Goddess of fire, she was still a Goddess. And a warm breeze was a rather simple thing for her to conjure up.

She opened her eyes and looked around the room. Black, purple and teal streamers began to string themselves along the ceiling. They formed a sort of pinwheel pattern from the center of the room, outward. Streamers of the same color hung themselves along the wet bar in the room as well as across the top of the television. Party hats and noise makers set themselves out upon the fooseball table. Pans with lids and small burners attached to the bottom lined themselves up along the bar.

She smiled as various boxes of noodles floated over and emptied themselves into some of the pans. Jar's of various sauces floated out to do the same in the remaining pans. A large tray of jumbo shrimp made it's way over to the bar as well. In the center was a big bowl of cocktail sauce. That was followed by two stacks of little cups and a spoon for the sauce. Guests could spoon some cocktail sauce into a little cup then no one was double dipping in a shared sauce.

Serving spoons set themselves out for the pasta's and the sauces. And the pans with the noodles filled with water. She blew in the direction of the pans and they were all lit, just like that. Plates, forks, and napkins graced the end of the bar. A purple and a teal table cloth made their way over to a table. The teal went down first, then the purple in the form of an x. That was where gifts would be placed. Black, purple, and teal balloons rose from the box.

The balloons were tied, with stings attached, by the time they reached their destinations around the room. Placed in groups of three, one of each color, they tied themselves to various things. So as not to diminish the Inn's stock, bottles of alcohol and soda's made their own way over to behind the bar. Those were to be followed by plastic cups, black, purple and teal of course. Venis looked around the room and smiled. Her box was empty and the room was done. She headed out to go get dressed as the breeze died down.

It was time for the men to show up at the party. And there was a bit of a surprise awaiting the Birthday girl when she would arrive. Someone came back to the Inn for her party. Isah would, of course, have to return to the keep now that the had a job to do. But today it was all about celebrating the Furgirl.

William was the first to arrive in the Lounge. "Well, looks like I'm first. V did a great job." He sat his gift upon the table and headed over to get a cup of soda. They even had his favorite ... Orange Crush.

Isah was the second one to arrive. He had rode over from the keep trying to be very careful of the box he had. His gift was very fragile. "Hey Will, you have your half" He sat his box down very carefully. And chuckled when he saw the box. "Ok, never mind." He walked over and poured himself a Dr. Pepper.

Shamus and Joseph were right behind him. They sat their gifts on the table. "Isah, you made it." Joseph headed over to get himself a Coke. Shamus chuckled. "We were beginning to wonder about you man. Good to see you." He shook Isah's hand before getting himself a Dr. Pepper.

Ivan walked in with Jason in tow. He was picking on the seventeen year old because all he had been able to talk about was Juliet for the last hour. He looked up to see the other men. "Ahh, Isah. How's the haunted castle?" Just a little joke before Venis gets down. Jason laughed. "Dude, she is so going to get you for that one." He set his gift down right after Ivan did and went for a cup of Pepsi.

Andrew and Keven were a few minutes behind Ivan and Jason. They walked in and set their gifts upon the table. "Isah, good to see you man." Andrew walked over to shake his hand. Keven grabbed himself a Coke first. "Welcome back, well, for a minute at least" He chuckled.

They were all just hanging out, drinking soda, when William popped off and asked. "Um, where's Paul?" It wasn't like him to be the last one to arrive. But that question was answered as he walked through the door. "Right here, why? Did ya miss me?" He laughed as he walked over to shake Isah's hand and get a Pepsi.

So now, other than Manny, they were all there. They all had brought their gifts and had gotten themselves a cup of soda. So while they waited, they sat around shooting the breeze as they got caught up with Isah and discussed things that have been going on.

[Gwendolan]

Gwen looked in the mirror, she thought she was ready. She was wearing her normal white robes. Two chains hung from her neck. One was tucked into her robes. It had the Key to Manny's room on it. The second one was the clover he had given her. That one she left out and visible to everyone. On her wrist she wore the diamond bracelet Manny had given her.

Manny came out of the bathroom in jeans and a t-shirt. He looked at Gwen and smiled. She had her back to him so he came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her."You look beautiful my love"

Gwen turned in his arms and looked up at him with a smile.

"Thank you."

She kissed his lips softly.

"I think we are ready, do you have the gift?"

He returned her kiss."Yes, it is by the door." He took his arms from around her and took her hand as they headed for the door. He picked up the gift and opened the door. He released her hand long enough to lock it behind them and then led her down to the lounge.

[Madeline Cauthon]

Madeline was grateful to be back at the inn. She was also thankful she got back for Tasha's party. She walked in the room and sat her present for Tasha on the table. She scan the room to see if who all had arrived. It was then she spotted Andrew. Lucky he had her back to her. Queitly she walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around him.

"Hello stranger. Did you miss me."

Kyra had gone back to her house and was all set to gather somethings from there to take back to the keep with her when she remembered she had been invited to a party for Tasha. Given that she was invited and she was in a rather good mood as of late she got herself ready and made her way to the lounge. Standing just outside she could see who all was there and she started to second guess why she came but then remembered it was because She had invited her. Taking a deep breathe trying to calm her nerves she made her way into the lounge standing off to the side taking a look at how it was all decorated. She just hoped others wouldn't mind her being there. She had a back up plan in case things went terribly wrong or she had misunderstood the invite. Holding a small box in her hands she walked over to the employees that were there and smiled.

"Hello."

Everyone seemed to be in rather high spirits by the time Manny and Gwendolan got to the party. As they walked up, Isah was explaining about how Kyra had come out to the keep to see him and how they ended up having lunch with V and going shopping. He wanted to make sure that they knew that if she showed up, it was because she had been invited by her Grandmother.

While they were standing there talking, Maddie walked up behind Andrew and wrapped her arms around him. He nearly jumped out of his skin. The others just laughed. Some had seen her approach, but they remained silent so as not to ruin the surprise. "Yes, I have as a matter of fact." He turned in her arms and leaned down to place a light chaste kiss upon her lips before turning her in his arms and turning them both back to face the others.

As they were all standing around talking, it was Shamus who first spotted Kyra. Without an ounce of animosity to his voice he spoke up. "Hey Kyra, come on over and join us. Have a soda." It was a genuine invite that was accented by Isah waving her over and nodding. He was quite glad that she had taken the invite to come to the party.

She took them up on their offer and finished making her way over by them still holding on to the small package in her hands. She was nervous and wasn't exactly sure why but she tried her best to hide it from the group. A smile still on her lips she grabbed a soda and opened it up taking a drink before speaking again. She was sure everyone here knew most if not everything that has happened as of late and she didn't want any problems. In her mind she was already making a back up plan in case things get to be to much for her to handle and she would know if and when that was. Not exactly sure what to do at this point she decides to make idle conversation with the group.

"How is everyone?"

She did her best to not let on that she was a bit hurt that Maddie didn't send word that she was back. Like everything else she would let it go and do her best to forget about it.

[Madeline Cauthon]

Maddie felt her blood boil at the kiss, and wanted more. "Good!" But they would have to see how the night progressed. When Andrew turned her around, it was then she saw Kyra. She left Andrew's arms for a second, and gave her friend a warm hug. "Oh Kyra I have missed you so. Please forgive me for not being in touch. How have you been, we have so much to catch up on."

[Casandra Lightheart]

Cas had been up in her room getting ready. Jeans and button down green shirt. Her hair in a braid down her back. She was all smiles when she came in a small box wrapped in metalic purple paper with a gold bow. She walked over to Gwen and Manny and gave Manny a kiss on the cheek.

"Hello everyone."

She smiled at them all. She knew the twins would be down soon enough to join the fun.

[Emilia]

Emilia soon made her way down the stairs a bouncing Iluvenis behind her. Em was in tight hip huggers with a tank top on. She was headed downstairs with a purple lock box in her hands. She walked in to the lounge a smile on her face.

"Look at all the sexy men."

She whistled at them and set the box on the table with some of the other gifts. She walked over to the employees and kissed all of them on the cheek. Even Manny. She whispered in his ear.

"I'm still waiting for you to become my stepdad."

She then stepped back and smiled with a wink.

"So where is the birthday girl?"

Iluvenis had really grown acustomed to life with her new mommy, Emilia, at the inn. She ecspecially loved the parties!! She entered behind her mother wearing a pink jumper with a white t'shirt underneath. She heard what her Mommy had said as they walked in, and got that mischiveous grin on her face.

"Which one is going to be your boyfriend tonight Mommy?"

As soon as she saw her grandmother and her Uncle Manny, she ran to both and fluttered up to into Uncle Manny's arms., and kissed them both.

"Grandmother!! Uncle Manny!! How are you two doing. You look pretty Grandmother."

[Catrina]

Catrina was the first to shower and dress for the party. She even bathed Penelope while she was in the shower. She dressed in a pair of tight jeans that came up to her waist and a purple crop T. She slid her feet into very thick soled flip flops that matched the shirt. Penelope came to rest upon her shoulder as she grabbed up the little box and headed out of the room.

She made her way down to the Lounge according to Venis' directions. She found it rather simple to find, and she had taken the time to memorize the floor and the room number of their borrowed room so she could find her way back. When she opened the door to the Lounge she was all smiles. The purple and teal decorations were perfect for a party for her sister.

She sat her gift on the table with the others and smiled at all the purple that people had used to wrap the gifts. Tasha was going to be thrilled. When she looked up she saw the people gathered and her smile widened. She ran over to Manny and threw her arms around his neck. Penelope lifted from her shoulder and perched herself upon the little fairy child.

She hugged tightly to Manny. "Hi Manny, hi everyone. Miss Casandra, do you remember me?" It had been several years since the time they came to see Tash at the SBR. She hugged Keven and William next, and her hug with Shamus lingered with her left arm around his shoulders as she looked around. "I don't believe we've had the pleasure. I'm Catrina, Cat, Tasha's sister."

Her right hand extended to the fairy woman first, then the taller brunette woman, then the older of the elves who was with Manny and then the younger one. "Don't know all of the men present either, or this little one who my Penelope seems to have taken a liking to. What's you're name sweetheart?" She reached down her hand so Kjay could sniff her and see if he remembered her.

[Lydia Nyght]

Iluvenis smiled at the nice lady, and extended her hand.

"Hello, my name is Iluvenis Tyson. It is a pleasure to meet you. "
She then looked to the little girl and smiled.

"Hello"

Cas smiled at Cat.

"Yes, I remember you. How have you been?"

Kjay wagged his tail and licked Cat's hand. Yes he remembered her he liked her, she was the one with the tiny dragons, only they wern't cubs.

Cas smiled at Kyra.

"Hello Kyra, I have not seen you in a long time, if you are going to be sticking around you will meet the twins."

She smiled and then moved to find a seat.

Venis entered the Lounge with a smile on her face. She saw the Pindragon perched upon Ilúvënis' shoulder and chuckled. She walked over to all the party goers and smiled. "Glad you could make it Kyra." She had honestly thought that her Granddaughter would have declined the invitation.

She looked around at all her decorations. "I have spoken to Ha'Ruil, as well as Alicia, and I am of the opinion that we need to move this party to a larger venue. There's a place not far from here, I know the owner and he said we could all just come on over. They have a room available and I can decorate it as soon as we get there. The others will be joining us there."

With that being said, she opened a portal for all to pass through. She stirred up a gust of warm winds to remove the decorations that she had placed around the room. All of which seemed to just float through the portal behind the guests. Once the room was cleaned up and back to the original condition, Venis stepped through the portal as well and it closed behind her.
