Manny left out of his new room on the second floor. Just as De'Ryanna had promised, the extra bed had been removed. And there were fresh, live, plants within the room as well. Gwendolan would enjoy caring for those. His armoire had been moved down to the room as had his other personal effects. He was completely moved out of the third floor room save for his work that was still upon the desk. After all, he still had work to do and he still had employees to supervise. All of which had to be done from that third floor room. But this, this room upon the second floor, this room was all his. He had his very own room at the Inn ...

As he locked the door behind him he made sure he had his key as well as the extra key that he had placed upon a chain. He headed up the stairs rather joyously. He wasn't headed to his desk and his work though. Nope, this time he was headed to Emilia's room. Because within that room resided Gwendolan. His girlfriend and the woman he loved. He had done this for her after all. She was a little shy and honestly did not want the men, and whomever else happened along, to know when they were intimate. So with a big grin he knocked upon the door.

[Gwendolan]

Gwen had been working on the quilt for Manny's birthday. She was getting hungry so she had put it up so she could go down to the kitchen and get lunch.

She was at the door when someone knocked so it was immediately opened. When she saw Manny a smile spread across her face. She stood on tiptoe and kissed him.

"I was just about to go get lunch, do you want to join me?"

His grin was from ear to ear as he smiled at her. He returned her kiss and then replied. "I would love to join you for lunch my dear, but I have to show you something first." He took her hand in his and led her from the room, making sure that the door had closed behind her.

He led her down the steps to the second floor. They headed down the hall a little way before he stopped in front of a door. Turning to her he smiled again. He reached out and unlocked the door, turning the handle, he pushed it open and let her enter first. He waited to see how she would react to such a room.

[Gwendolan]

She looked at him.

"Show me something?"

She took his hand and shut the door. She followed him down to the second floor; she had thought they would go further down but instead he led her down the hallway. He stopped at a door and unlocked it. He opened the door and moved for her to go in first.

She walked in and began looking around, there was one bed and it was by the window. She smiled as she looked through the window. She also noticed the plants.

She looked at Manny then and the smile widened as it reached her eyes.

"What did you do?"

He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her. He held her in his arms as he spoke softly. "We have our privacy now my love. No more will our business be made public." He held up the key that was suspended from the chain. "This is my room, and you are welcome in it any time you wish." He placed the chain over her head and then put his hand on the side of her face before leaning in to kiss her deeply.

[Gwendolan]

She looked at him her eyes sparkling.

"I love you, thank you so much."

She smiled as the key was placed around her neck.

"I hope that you don't regret that."

What was that Gwen made a joke?

She closed her eyes when his hand touched her face and returned his kiss.

The slightest chuckle had escaped his throat as they kissed. She had made a joke, and it was a funny one. But he would never regret giving her a key, or even getting the room to begin with. He loved her, and now lunch was going to have to wait. He reached behind himself to the door. He fumbled with the handle as he found the lock and locked it. Then he closed the door while still kissing her. He was about to show her just how much he loved her.
