A thank you for Casandra

[Inion]

It was a few days since the ride and Inion was ready to leave her room. Dressed in comfortable clothes and her glamour in place she walked slowly down the hall. A slightly limp to her walk was the only evidence to her injuries. She was letting them heal natuarally, partly because most of her magic was used to fight the effects of the sword and partly because she thought it best at the moment.

She stopped at Lady Casandra's door, and knocked softly. She was there to thank her for her help. Croga had told her what had happened and who had helped her with her wounds, cause she knew he had no knowledge of such things.

Cas was in the room with the twins, they where playing a game. She heard a knock at the door and headed over to it.

Kjay got up when his human did and followed her. He could smell the fairy on the other side of the door, every time she was near he smelled bacon.

Cas reached down with one hand and scratched Kjay behind his ear, the other hand opened the door. She smiled as she saw Inion.

"Hello, it is good to see you moving about, do you want to come in?"

[Inion]

A bright smile on her lips and a laugh as she caught the door frame just as Dia came running up beside her.

"Gee thanks Dia, slow down. I wasn't going far and everyone knew." She gave the lab a sratch behind her ears.

When the door opened that bright smile was still on her lips, though it didn't touch her eyes. "hello lady Casandra, if you are busy I could come back later. I just dropped by to thank you."

Cas smiled at Dia.

"Hello there girl."

She looked back up at Inion.

"No, not busy, I was just playing a game with the twins, we were almost finished."

She moved back from the door to let Inion and Dia in.

Kjay sniffed at Dia and wagged his tail, he was happy to see another four legged friend come to play.

[Inion]

She was grateful the basket in her hand was between her and Dia's tail, otherwise she might have more injuries from its deadly wagging. Inion moved slowly through the door way, Dia at her side as if she would tip over any moment. This brought another laugh form her. "oh Dia I think I can make it on my own. Go visit Kjay."

Released from her self imposed duty Dia took a few steps inside further and stopped in a playful pose.

Another laugh given at Dia's playfulness and a smile to the twins once she was inside the room.

Cas shut the door behind them and then looked at the basket Inion carried.

"Do you want me to set that somewhere for you?"

Kjay was wagging his tail and got down into a playful pose too . He liked to play with other canines almost as much as he liked to play with Levi.

[Inion]

"Actually the basket is a gift for you. Somethng to say thank you for helping me the other night. Croga told me it was you that tended to my wounds."

She held out the basket which was filled with medincal herbs, some dried some fresh, and powders in little wooden boxes. There was also jars of salves and liquids. Also it held a few other things healing items, and two small black books. One had recipes from Inions homeland some that she actually created and even sketchs or various plants. The other book was blank, prefect for Casandra to write her own recipes.

Dia barked softly and pawed Kjay, then did her silly little catch me dance.

"It was nothing, I was just in the right place at the right time."

Cas took the basket and looked at it. Inside she saw all sorts of things from herbs to salves, to liquids. New morter and pestal. She set it down and looked at the books. She looked up at Inion and smiled.

"This was not necessary, but thank you."

Kjay barked back and pounced on Dia.

[Inion]

"That maybe true, and for that I am greatful. Should you ever need supplies just knock on my door. I make regular trips home to keep my supplies fresh." She looked over at Kjay and Dia and smiled.

Dia rolled over onto her back and gave a little happy bark. She missed playing with someone, Croga didn't play.

She smiled at Inion.

"Thank you, that is a very nice gesture. If you ever need anything just ask."

She laughed when Dia rolled over because Kjay jumped on her.

She smiled at Casandra "I might take you up on that, though I haven't seemed to need my healers bag lately."
A glance over at the pups and she laughed, though shifting on her leg caused a brief crease on her brow "I don't want to keep you from your activity and we should be heding back before Fia comes hunting me down and carries me back to my couch. Again thank very much for all that you did the other day."[/font]

Dia gave a bark and moved to her side quickly "Thank you for playing Kjay but m'lady needs to return, I can tell shes hurting."
