Don't bother, there's a tie.

Shamus and Ivan settled at the bar for a drink. They figured that they would wait for a bit before they headed back up to the third floor. The person who put the tie on the door might even head down the stairs when it was safe for them to go back into the room. So they figured they would just wait. It wasn't all that big a deal.

Andrew and Paul came in the door from dealing with their duties for the day. They were talking and not paying much attention to the bar as they passed by headed for the stairs. That was when Shamus saw them and spoke up. "Hey Drew, Paul, you guys might want to wait down here with us. There's a tie on the door." He got up and went behind the bar to get them both a soda.

Andrew and Paul walked over to the bar and took a seat with Shamus and Ivan. Andrew was the first to ask. "So, who's got the room closed off, William, Joseph or Keven?" He popped the top on his can of soda and took a swig. They were all getting rather curious about the whole thing. But they just sat around talking while they waited.

William and Keven came in next. They were only a few minutes behind Andrew and Paul. Keven saw the other four men sitting there at the bar. "What's going on guys?" He nudged William and they headed over to where the guys were seated.

Shamus got up and got them a soda. Andrew laughed. "Evidently, Joseph has a tie on the door." William and Keven went over and sat down with the other men. Shamus gave them their soda's. The men all found it funny that Joseph had the room held hostage. So now they were just sitting there waiting on Joseph.

[Emilia]

Emilia was whistling to herself as she came in. She had went to pick up Iluvenis but she had wanted to spend the night with a friend. Since it was the weekend she decided that it would be ok. Today she was wearing a black summer dress it had an empire waist and was low in the front.

She was headed to her room when she saw all the men in the bar. She smiled as she changed direction and walked into the bar.

"Hello gentleman."

She smiled at them all and kissed their cheeks as she made her way all the way in.

"What has all of you in the bar this afternoon?"

Kisses were returned when Emilia gave them out. Shamus jumped up to get her a soda as well. He was starting to feel like a Jack in the Box. He offered her the soda and a seat. "Well, we're waiting on Joseph." That was the simple explanation for it. "So how about you wait with us?" He took his seat again while they waited.

Joseph had appeared in the area of the bar just in time to hear his name mentioned. Imagine their surprise when he was coming from the direction of the front door, carrying a paper bag, rather than from the stairs. "Why are you guys waiting on me, am I in some kind of trouble?" He walked over and sat the bag down before kissing Emilia on the cheek.

Jaws dropped at seeing Joseph come in from the front door. There was a moment of silent pondering before it was a group of voices all at once. "JASON!" Suddenly they were all filled with worry that it could have been Jason behind that door. That he had ditched school with some teen-aged tart.

Keven, Andrew, and Ivan all made a mad dash for the front desk. Andrew grabbed the shell phone first. He called Jason's school and waited for someone to answer. When the receptionist picked up Andrew cleared his throat and began to speak. "Yes, this is Derek Feildman calling, could I speak to my son Jason. It is very urgent." He moved the shell from his head and placed it against his chest while the receptionist was having him paged.

He looked at the other guys with a look of confusion. He whispered to them. "What do I tell Jason if he comes to the phone, or tell this lady if he is not there?" He put the shell to his ear again to listen for someone to pick up. But he was looking to the others for advice still.

Ivan just shook his head and shrugged. Keven had a good idea though. "If Jason comes to the phone, send him to the store on his way home for some ... Some applesauce for Willow. If the receptionist comes back, tell her that Karen must have already picked him up and forgot to sign him out." Yes, those excuses would work.

[Emilia]

She took the soda from Shamus and sat down in the offered chair.

"Thanks Sexy, but why is everyone waiting on Joseph."

She smiled at Joseph as he set the bag he was carrying down and returned his kiss. She saw the reactions of the other men and got up from the chair she was in. Soda in hand she followed them towards the phone.

"Keven, what is going on?"

She listened to them talking and waited for her answer.

The other men followed right behind Emilia. They all wanted to know now. They were all gathered around the phone waiting to see what was to be discovered. So only Keven spoke at first. He turned to Emilia and whispered. "There's a tie on our door, Jason is the only one not here, so we are making sure that he didn't ditch school." He was interrupted by Andrew talking again.

Andrew's eyes widened. "Yea, hey Jas, it's Drew. I just wanted to see if you could pick up some apple sauce for Willow on your way home? We all got rather swamped around here today and none of us made it to town." He waited for the reply. "Alright, thanks man. Sorry to bother you. Yea, just tell he lady who answered that we needed to update you on the health of a family member or something. Not that I condone lying or anything. But we'll see you when you get back. Thanks again." He hung up the shell phone.

He turned and looked at the other men and Emilia. "Well, Jas is at school. He said he'd pick up the apple sauce cause he knows she won't take her pills without it. So now what?" He looked around again. "Did one of us leave it on there by mistake?" There was a group shaking of heads as they all looked at Emilia. Keven had taken her back to a different room and he had been the latest of them to keep company with her.

Keven arched an eyebrow. "Maybe Venis is hiding someone from Kahn?" That idea was shot down, because she would just take care of things in her room while Kahn was away for work. She had more tact than to use the employees room for such things. Then Shamus chimed in. "Maybe Tasha has found herself a boy toy to keep her busy?" William cut his eyes at Shamus before they all shot that idea down as well. After all, that wasn't Tasha's style. Plus, she was dating that elf guy.

The men stood there thinking for a moment. Joseph spoke up next. "Well, we know our little Emmy here isn't entertaining in there." He chuckled. "You don't think Seleen would ...?" And a group nah came from the men. Seleen would never cheat on Shuda. She loved him way more than that. Keven spoke up again. "Hey, call Isah and see if he's home. Tell him we were just calling to say hey and see if he needed anything." That was an idea. Maybe Isah had come back and had brought a new lady friend.

[Emilia]

Emilia looked from one of the men to the other and thought of all the reasoning's

"Tasha's new boy toy has been staying in her room with her. After a conversation I had with Sel, I know she would not be seeing anyone else. I would just use my own room."

She looked at the men with a smile.

"That leaves Isha or Manny. Don't bother calling Isha he is still at the keep, I will be leaving to see him tomorrow."

She started to laugh.

The men all looked at her with an odd look. No way it was Manny. But then it hit them, who else could it be? So with a bit of a snicker Joseph popped off with. "And he's with your mom." Laughter abound as they all went to sit at the bar and wait for the room to open up.
