The Power of Politeness Empty The Power of Politeness

As children we have often been told to mind our ‘P’s’ and ‘Q’s’. Saying ‘Thank you’ when things are given to us and saying ‘please’ when we want something done showed that we were well mannered and had respect. Being respectful is something that children learn and, as adults, it is expected.

It is a general assumption that everyone that chooses to play on the forum is an ‘adult’ and has a general respect not only for the other players, but the mechanics of the forum as well. The forum administration encourages the creativity of its members and new concepts and ideas are always welcome. However, if you want to change the appearance of the Inn or add functions that will influence public game play (adding a sauna to the gym, replacing the furniture in the lounge, ect) you should have enough respect for us to ask.

We’re generous, understanding, and we listen. If there is something you, or your character, want to add to enhance game play please ask first. Send a message to either the Admin or Armandeus and a reply to the request will be given.

Thank you.

I apologize Admin, if the forge and my asking pip to build a house in new haven have offended. Both can be shut down if you wish and again I apologize.

Dreconis,

The fact that the Forge has been added as an addition to the Forum shows that there is no fault and that permission for the sub-board had been requested and approved. There is no cause for concern.

Posted threads are read and often ideas for new sub-boards or stickied threads are mentioned by the characters themselves (Seleen's Salon and Dreconis' Manor House for example) and if any of those were wanting to become a reality as a permeant thread or board, then the person running it would only have to ask.

Thank you for your concern.
