What were you doing before you checked the boards today?

Me? I was mixing pixi-stix' in my kool-aid.

I checked the boards like a million times today, becasuse I was home being bored all day. So:

*Setting up my stable website for the horse SIM I play
* Vaccuming
* Reading my horse encyclopedia
* sketching

and I think that's probably about it.

Had a family function today, Granddaddy turns 74 tomorrow, so we BBQed today. Then when I got the internet card I hit here first ... now I'm pouting because no one posted in our braided thread so I only got to make two posts, Shamus taking the unicorn and the horses to the stables and this one.

For the record, I love pixi-stix. Some people do the energy drinks, I do the stix. And blueberry pancakes. I think that's normal. But I don't do them together.

No, I don't own a horse. =( They're too expensive, frankly, and then in three years I'll be going to college and then what? I take weekly riding lessons, though, and work at the barn feeding. ^_^

Ever since I finished Gunslinger Girl (50 million thumbs up btw) I've been looking for a new anime and have been unable to find one. I'll definitely have to check it out. ^^ The thing about anime is that when it's done right, it's sooo good. Yet there's just so much darn crap to wade through before you get to it. x_x

It's really awesome, enough drama, action and romantic tension to please almost everyone, even the odd element of horror. It'd be my favorite if it wasn't for Kannazuki no Miko, but even then it's a close call between the two.
