It would taste a lie to say that Fallon wasn't a bit overwhelmed the first time he had stumbled across this place with Big Ug. Come on man. Ghosts of the past came back, in the flesh! That's the sorta thing that would mess with your head... if you let it.

And really, Fallon found no reason why he should. I mean... come on! In the vast majority of cases... almost everyone he had met had sucked, in the past... I dunno... hundred or so years of his life? They've either been betrayers, liers, cheaters, abusers, users... and just plain worthless. People not worth the flesh they're printed on... who needed them?

But in the end... you never have friends friends like the ones you had when you were young. And there quite a few of them already he had met, or been told of, here in this place... it was like popping back in time, to when everything was cool! And man, you had to know that got Fallon diggin' it a little!

He'd never be able to remember that meandering trek that Cyrus led them on that brought them here... but since he knew where here was now.... oh yeah baby... pop! Blink magic was just the best! There was the front door of that Inny Inn Inn... and there was Fallon, slithering his way inside for a second time! Only this time... he was wandering toward the direction of the front desk...

Someone, was at the front desk. It didn't matter if they poof, slithered, or manifested from the particles in the air, once they were at the desk she knew of it. Special ward and all that. With an Inn as this one tended to be, unless someone was there all the time, there would be no other way to know.

De'Ryanna was not physic, and she didn't think that Madeline was either.

Walking around the corner and down the hall was De'Ryanna, brushing her hands only once one her long silver skirt. She walked very fluidly, and her dark hair was about her shoulders, a polite smile was on her lips as she saw him standing there. Did she know who he was? Not really.

"Greetings. Welcome to the Tel'Ranaemyn Inn." Reaching the desk she pulled out the ledger and flipped it open. "How can I help you?"

Angel finally woke up, yeah the poor Vamp had been sleeping for WAY to long! It was a wonder if anyone thought she was dead or something. She wasn't, thankfully. It had just been such a long trip, stress, lack of eating right and sleep, and seeing people she hadn't seen in months, and in some cases years really put the vamp into over drive on her emotions.

She sat up in ... bed .. blink blink and let those light blues glance around her .. room? "When the hell was I put in my room?" A little stretch, hands up over her head and then left hand finding the side of her head and giving it a little scratch. " How bloody long have I been asleep?" As if to answer her own question, her tummy growled loudly. "Well .. that answers that. I should change and go get some food."

So up she got, bare feet hitting the floor of her room before she stood up from the bed. Right hand reached into her little hidden pocket of space next to her and pulled out the low riders she stole from Pip, awhile ago, and her dark purple spagetti strapped shirt with the dark purple share cover over it.

Angel changed quickly, tossed her boots on, ran a brush through her dark purple and blond locks and headed down stairs. Her mission was the kitchen or at least to find someone to get her a blood wine or something .. till she could go back to town and grab her special mixture from the ShadowFire. Her mission was derailed when the scent of another familure person hit her sences. "Fally?" She paused on the steps, mid step, bending a bit so she could take a good look around downstairs. Her stomach gave another growl, not a good time to be hungry ...

Oh yeah, it was Fally alright! Slowly wandering his way toward the desk, icy blue eyes still shifting about as his meanderings finally brought him to his destination, a mere couple of seconds before the little cutie came from... wherever the hell she came from, to give him that smile! And since there was no way Fallon could insult a lady smiling at him... she received that goofy, lopsided grin of his right back at her.

"Hiya there, sweetheart! Say, listen... I'm in the need for a room for a little while... not sure how long, just wanna scope the place a bit, ya know? So, yeah... I guess I need a room?"

Clawed fingertips drumming along the edge of the desk while that sort of rambling explanation made its way out his mouth... and since Angel was hiding upstairs still, he never saw her!

Sweetheart? Clearly he must be using the word as simple term and didn't mean anything else by it. Either way it caused her to pause and her brown eyes looked him up and down. Yes, she was examining him, and she tipped her chin up slightly when her eyes returned back to his face. This girl had a type of air about her of importance, even if that polite smile was on her face. She hadn't seen anyone like him before. Different and yet, familiar.

She was on the verge of staring rudely - even if she was merely examining him - and therefore she lowered her eyes to the ledger. "I'm sure that we can accommodate you. What type of room would you like? Single rooms are on the first floor, larger on the second and we have suites on the third. Though if it is simply you, then all depends on the space you need." looking up from the ledger and back to him. "They range from one silver to a gold a night. You pay when you leave. We have a kitchen that supplies three meals and you can charge them to your tab."

Reaching back under the desk she pulled out a piece of paper and a pen. "But, you can't have anything, until you sign your name." There was something about signing the name because she said that with importance and then, she set her eyes on his again.

Another growl of her stomach, left hand moving to clamp around her stomach and a light blush starting on her lighter then normal cheeks. Like that would help drown out the noise. Was it even really that loud? There really wasn't any point in standing on the steps, bent over peering at a ghost from her past like some child on Christmas staring at their presents under the tree, so down the steps she would go, finishing her trip to the bottom floor.

Hand left her stomach, and that Angel grin spread across her lips. Hungry or not .. someone was getting the pounce/huggle of a life time. She'd give him one warning of the impending pounce, so he better get ready! "Fally!" That was all that was said before Angel took off towards him, and wrapped her arms around him in a big bear hug! Kiss to his cheek and a little giggle, hopefully the giggle covered yet another growl of her stomach. "Hey stanger!"

Of course Angel wasn't rude and those light blues looked over to the lady behind the desk. " I'm sorry .. I haven't see this guy in awhile. I couldn't resist."

Her head fell against his shoulder now ... she really shouldn't have used what energy she had to bum rush Fally like that.

Don't feel too bad... whatever your name is girl! She wouldn't be the first to stare rudely at Fallon... sometimes his utterly careless and unrestrained attitude rubbed people the wrong way at first blush. And even though he knew it, and it happened frequently? ... he really didn't care! In fact, he thrived on that reaction! Drawing people's emotions and passions out - whether good or bad, inadvertant or purposely - was Fallon's bread and butter, one of the things he was very good at!

Her tense scrutiny of him, if even for just those few seconds, made that grin of his take a bit more of a wicked turn. Reactions... god he loved them! He'd listen along though, while she went off on her little spiel. She had a job to do, he wouldn't stop that! Though.. really? If there was an extra closet in here even, he could have what he needed! But... hmm.. room...

"Well... I think all I'd need would be just a little room. Just gonna be me, after all! Leave the big rooms and suites for the fams and stuff! Now... sign my name, huh? Does that mean I get to learn your name, too?"

Like Fallon could resist playing just a little bit? Even though while he was asking her, he was reaching out for the pen, to do just as she asked... and ya know, he would have signed it right then and there... had a voice not tickled his ear. A familiar one. There was really only one person who called him that... which meant...

"... uh oh." Fallon got to turn toward that voice just enough to catch Angel when that pounce and hug was thrown down on him! And yeah, that catch ended up doubling as a hug once he made sure he didn't topple under the force of her bum rush!

"Man, this is nuts! Did I get thrown back like a hundred years! Angel! What the hell are you doin' here!" ... though the same could well be asked of himself!

There was no hiding of stares or pretending that she wasn't looking at him - she was and if he asked she would tell him the very same. Unless you were under cover there was no reason to hide your intentions and she intended to get a good look at all the people who were signed into the Inn. Even him. Though there was something about his eyes, the color of them was different. The only other person she had seen with eyes that were able to draw her in were Armandeus', but the eyes of this man were different. And so that is where she stared...until he started speaking.

Then she blinked and squared back her shoulders. He was going to get a room. Good. "I am De'Ryanna." Always leaving off her last name, even if she used a different one here at the Inn than her real one. That is about all she was able to say before she heard someone else shouting from behind her.

Before she knew it, the man was hugged by another lady and she heard him begin called by a name..."Fally?" Her eyes narrowed slightly. "Fally... " Why did that name sound familiar to her? She had read it somewhere in her mothers papers. Then she took a step back from the desk, her eyes growing slightly wider. "Fallon... Zane?"

"It feels like it don't it? Gawy, Kahn, Venis, Pip now you! I swear the gods are trying give me an early death .. almost happened once..." Que another growl from her stomach, the blush on her cheeks standing out against the pale of her cheeks.

She kept her head on his shoulder, arm around his shoulders for support, but of a lean on his as well. She had been asleep for months now (silly mun being forgetful and stuff!) could you blame her for being hungry? "Hiding from daddy dearest and couldn't stand to be in that castle all by myself anymore .. even with the guards, Az and Silver a gal gets kinda lonely after awhile. The bloody hell are you doing here?"

Those light blues looked to De'Ryanna, left brow lifting just a bit at her reaction of the name she's always called Fallon. She's seen reactions to Fally before, but this one was kinda new to her. " Didn't know my nickname for him was so popular." Slight Angel grin given then. "You alright hun?" Ask to De of course, this is Angel after all 'mother hen' as she was called before.

All those names... even the second time around, he could barely believe that he was hearing them all! It just seemed... so... odd! Fallon didn't mind Angel's lean against him... or the growling of her stomach. Someone hasn't been eating well, have they? Surprise surprise... maybe he'd pop an artery and make her drink...

That mental musing would be interrupted, of course, by the way his name had just been spoken by De'Ryanna, the one behind the counter. It very much sounded like she had just spoken the name of the devil, and was about to bite her own tongue out for the blasphemy, didn't it? Man... he just got here, and already people were acting like he carried the plague!

"Yep, that's me, dearie. Fallon Zane, atcha service."

And, for good measure, one arm slid from the hug Angel was trapped in, to reach out and snag that pen, and sign that very name upon the paper he had been presented.

Standing there she looked from Angel and the now comfirmed Fallon Zane. This was unreal. It was almost as bad as it had been when she was told that her father was alive and in the Inn. Too young to remember him the last time he was around, this was the first time De'Ryanna actually had a chance a chance to see the man her mother had not only written about, but had talked about as well. Face to face with this fact it was hard for her to get herself back into control and mask the shock that was registering on her face.

Slow, deep and calming breaths she watched as he took the pen and wrote his name. Her eyes drifted from that sheet of paper, to him and to Angel. She had heard the name and knew her too. "Greetings.. Angel." It would be rude to not greet her. It seemed that she did not know who she was either.

Stepping forward she reached out to take the signed paper, a key to one of the rooms on the first floor in her other hand. When she spoke again she looked at Fallon. "I know you from my mothers stories and from the papers." She paused again, finally in control of her self again. "I know both of you." Looking between them both, but her eyes resting on Fallon.

"I am the daughter of Airtia Cauthon."

When his arm left her so he could sign the paper, Angel had to shift her weight to stay up right. So more leaning on the poor Fally. She should really go get some wine ...

"You know me?" Kablink, train of thought about food totally forgotten about now. She opened her mouth to ask how .. when the answer was given. There where a million and five things Angel could have said right about now. Most of them starting with 'No way' and ending with some comment or another, like 'shoulda known' or 'you look like her'. Instead her jaw dropped and those light blues went wide. It was amazing how time could get away from people ... had it really been that long?

[Madeline Cauthon]

Madeline walked up to her sister, Fallon, and a new girl. "Hey De'Ryanna, Fallon."
Maddie extended her hand to the pretty girl. "Hi! I'm Madeline Cauthon, nice to meet you."

[De'Ryanna Aybara]

De'Ryanna had referred to herself as Airtia's daughter simply because it was the first thing that came to mind and she knew that her mother had had relations with the pair. It was the easiest way to inform them of how she obtained knowledge of their names.

Having the paper now in hand she closed the ledger and put it, and the paper, on the shelf in back of the desk. "Yes, I do know you, Angel, and you should know me," came De'Ryanna's curt remark. "We did abide in the same facility."

All of that was said before Madeline appeared on the scene and De'Ryanna gave her a look of haughty disdain for how she inserted her way into the conversation without excusing herself first. Yes, this girl defiantly had one of those attitudes. "Obviously someone is excited to meet new people."

[Fallon Zane]

... the daughter of Airtia Cauthon. The fact that a girl who was just a baby when Fallon last heard of her, was now a... well, kinda sexy young lady? Didn't phase Fallon like it did Angel. Fallon was a hundred and seventy one now, thanks to a whole lot of times playing with the time streams. Didn't make it any less surprising and such? But his intimate knowledge of the ways made its impact less intense. An eyebrow rising!

"... huh. Last I seen of you, you were just a l'il speck of a thing! Now look atcha! All.. well, almost all grown up?" Was he cracking jokes at her! Ha! Now that the signature was done, pen set down and all, that hand was stretched toward De'Ryanna, clawed fingers curled back a bit so he wouldn't gouge her up?

"A pleasure to meet ya, dearie."

And, of course, Maddy got herself a quick flash of that crooked grin once she came up to the group... and could Fallon help but snicker a bit at the look and tone she got from 'Ryan'? Heh! This was definately Airtia's child!

Unlike her mother, she hadn't adapted the ageless look to her features yet and therefore she looked to be her age of seventeen. Or pretty close to it. 'Almost all grown up'. She liked to think of herself as a put together and very capable young lady. To her that was grown up enough. Now that she knew who he was she shouldn't feel any way about the words he chose when speaking to her. This man liked to flirt. And marry. She couldn't remember all the times he had been married in the past, her mothers books had references to the marriages of her friends and his name was in that section quite a few times.

When he extended his hand she reached forth with her own. "Likewise." The smile wasn't forced, though it was slightly inquisitive. "Though I'm sure the pleasure would have been greater were I older and chose to fawn over you like your partner there." She was referring to Angel who had been laying on him. "I suppose charm only works on the gullible.." She had a firm shake of her hand and she chose to look him in the eye while she spoke to him.

De'Ryanna might not have the age to execute an intense stare, but she had the ability to start one as long as she stayed focused.

De' just called Angel gullible? That's a new one ... never in her like 500 years had she eve been called gullible. "I'm not fawning over him " Cough. Yeah maybe any other time she would be, and if she wasn't engaged. " I just woke up from a, gods only know how long nap, and I haven't eaten yet. The tackle I gave him zapped what energy I did have. " That was her story and she was sticking to it, truth every last word of it. And to further prove her point, she lifted her head from Fally's shoulders in an attempt to stand up right. Wasn't her best idea ever, but Angel was Angel. She started to fall forward and clamped her arm around Fally so she wouldn't fall. Light blues closing for a moment to let the wave of light headedness pass.

The moment passed and her head was back on Fally shoulder, she wasn't moving till he did. That Angel smile was on her lips as she spoke to De' "It is wonderful to met you and how grown you have become. Like Fally, I remember when you where a tiny thing. That little 'tude reminds me of your mother." Not a bad thing, not at all. Was just a statement on Angel's part.

Of course light blues looked to the one that entered and gave that smile to her as well. Arm not clamped tightly to Fally extended to take the offered hand. " I'm Angel, nice to meet you too."

AHEM! Miss Cauthon, should we notice how nice Fallon is being by helping Angel, letting her use him as a support to hold her up because she was obviously - as always... - retardedly underfed? He wasn't clinging to her, playing with her, flirting with her? He's being good! And Fallon had been married to.... what, maybe Malice? Were Malice and Airtia buddies? He didn't know, really. Otherwise, the other two marriages were to people she didn't know. So nyah!

Now, more pressingly, was Fallon cracked another wicked little grin. She had quite a tongue on her, didn't she? And, much as anyone who knew Fallon well could tell her, once people started to pack 'tude and sarcasm and smart ass commentary into their conversation with him? Fallon kicked it into overdrive! Never once did his icy blue eyes waver from hers, once he returned his gaze to them. And out came his stream of retorts!

"You damn right it would have! I make an awesome snuggle buddy... don't be ticklin' or nothin'. Don't worry though, by the looks of ya..." Pause for that grin to become a bit more devious! "You don't have a whole lot longer to have to wait..."

"And really, I dunno about all of that? Gullible? I mean, unless you really intend on tellin' me you think your mother is gullible? Or was at any point in her life? Because those charms seemed to work pretty well on her? Enough for her to marry me, anyway?"

Sigh... see what Fallon gets for trying to be nice to people?

If she were a different type of girl, the type that gets overly emotional, wearing their hearts on their sleeve and making intense outburst with their tongue waging and lips flapping, she would have had a thing or two to say to Fallon. Not that she didn't now, she just chose to take the logical route. Logical to her.

On one hand, he paid her a compliment and she should take it for what it was: a compliment and not as an insult that she was easy to get. It wasn't her fault that he was rude and without any lack of manners. Even if some people would say the same about her. The most change to her expression was the slight lift of her right eyebrow. Snuggle buddy? That term, in relation to him, put a whole lot of thoughts into her head. Some of them she'd rather not think about. Still. Compliment. Take it as a compliment.

It was the next thing he said that was not taken so well. Besides, Angel had said that she reminded her of her mother. "My mother has been know to take pity on the unfortunate. You've obviously been the better for it. Uncle." That word was very short. The idea of having all this family suddenly was quite a thing to take in.

Her other hand came forth with his room key, holding it up and letting it dangle and inwardly chewing on her own words. He had complimented her. She should be nice. "Thank you. For your earlier compliment. "

Something De'Ryanna would learn quickly is that Fallon treated people the exact same way they treated him. Manners and common courtesy and decency followed that route. If they were cool about things, like she originally had been? Then, he was cool, like he orginally had been! If they started poppin' off at the mouth, like she proceeded to once Fallon had tried to be nice, then, he popped back!

Whether she wanted to realize it or not, De'Ryanna already had her tongue waggling and lips flapping. Which is cool! Fallon never minded a battle of wits! Especially considering many didn't expect Fallon to be the master of intellect, at first blush. Which made it all the more fun, making people walk away from that first fight going 'what the hell just happened?'

Fallon paid a lot of compliments... and not all of them were to seperater a woman from her panties, ya know. Most of them, if not all of them, were sincere! Just... half the time, they seperated said panties from said woman... but the one she had gotten, that little flirt he snuck in there? Was sincere, in a good way. He didn't expect her to interpret it as he thought she was a very beautiful young woman.... but that was one of the intentions behind it. The other... was searching...

... and he found what he was looking for, though it was one he already knew would work. The mommy comment worked like a charm! Even if she didn't show it physically... the air about her, and the bite behind her words, and the need to start insulting were blatant. He got under the skin there! And did it without a single insult! See how that works? But... bleh. It seemed like she had enough for now, because she was shifting the conversation track, back to his room, and to business. Which was fine. He could roll with that!

"You're welcome, dear!" That attitude back to bright and goofy... though it never really change much, did it? Reaching out to take the keys... but stopping just short. And still looking her dead in the eyes.

"And you know? You're right. Your mother helped me in ways no one else ever would have. You have your mother to thank for what I've gone on to be. Ask her about what she did to me, someday. You'll see just how true that little jab really is, sweetheart."

Cue one more glimpse of that lopsided grin of his, and he was plucking the keys from her hand! And then... yeah... focus on the dead-weight Angel still clasped onto him. "Okay, Rainbow Bright, let's get ya back in your room, ya?"

Angel listened to the friendly banter, knowing full well how Fally plays with others, depending on how well they play with him. She was actually expecting an all out war of words .. ahhh but that expectation was cut sure when De changed the subject. There would be other days, other times Angel was sure of it.

"Your mom has helped a lot of us, sometimes in ways she doesn't even know about." Little bobble of her head, in what was supposed to be a nod but most likely ended up just looking like her head was falling off of Fally's shoulder. That was just Angel's two copper.

Wait .. did he just call her Rainbow Bright? What's up with all the names for poor Angel? First she was called gullible and now Rainbow Bright? Give the vamp a break! "New name for me eh? Better then Mother Hen at least. Or Blessed Mary"Little eye roll at that name. She'd never live THAT name down. An attempted Angel grin was given to Fally then, followed by another bobble of her head. "Room sounds good. Actually laying down sounds even better at the moment."

She had changed the subject because she didn't want to continue with the jabs, thinking that to do so would be pointless. Besides, if she did all it would do is fueled her anger and she was trying hard enough to keep it settled. That silver chain, hidden under her skirt and around her waist wasn't helping.

Peeking her curiosity, that's what the two of them did by talking around the things that her mother had done. The only problem was in getting particular information from her mother, she hardly talked about anything she did in her past. What De'Ryanna had found out about those two were parts of general information books that her mother kept to document events. Maybe this why she was looking at the two of them with curious eyes .

What has her mother done to help the two of them? One family gene she did have: curiosity, even if she often tried to hide it or mask it with something else. Hearing Fallon call Angel 'Rainbow Bright' was funny and she even chanced a small smile, very small, and it could have been masked by her words. "I'm sure my Mother will be glad to know that she has done some good. Perhaps your paths will cross."

She was never sure. Though her family was here, she never sought them out.
