Tasha gasped hearing Maddie's words. "No way, no, not Gary. Gawain said he came to his senses right before he died. No, he wouldn't do that to me. No, he loved me. He was my soul mate." Ok, panic was setting in again.

Emilia had excellent timing. She was trying to calm the panicking feline. Tasha was breathing heavily and could have ended up hyperventilating if she wasn't careful. So when Emilia tried to calm her, and it started to work, Tasha was relieved. She shook her head and let her tears fall as she repeated the word no over and ever again quietly.

Emmy could keep this up for a couple hours if she had to, before long a soft glow began to encircle Emilia and Tasha as she began to sing in her native elvish. It was just a simple lullaby, nothing magical about the song it was just a soothing melody.

While Emila sang, Madeline took a few pieces of white fairy quartz she had in the pocket of her cloak. White fairy quartz was used in relaxation, so needlees to say Madeline carried with her all the time.



Madeline knelt at Tasha's side and placed the white fairy quartz in front of her. "I'm sorry Tasha, you're right."

It was then Madeline clothes her eyes, and in a light whisper, as to not interrupt Emilia started praying.

Holy Goddess, holy Goddess.
Upon these holy ancient stones
Now cast thy lovely silver light;
Uncloud thy face that we may know
Unveiled, it's shinning in the night.

Shine forth upon my dear friend here,
Shine bright upon the sounding sea;
Send down thy tender light to my aunt who I hold dear.
All living things that pray to thee.

Maddie kept repeating the prayer concentrating her energy into the stones so that may make Tasha feel more relaxed.

Venis was still rather high from Gawain's blood. So she had no problem holding two forms. She reached her hands into Tasha once she had started to calm down. She was breaking the bones and resetting them as Emilia and Madeline kept her calm and got her to relax.

She looked up at Emilia singing, and then over at Madeline praying. She even looked over at Altonas. She knew who was physically present in the room. But there was someone else in there. Someone who was not a physical manifestation.

Venis couldn't tell who it was, or why they were there, but she could feel them standing at Tasha's feet watching over them. It was rather odd. Normally, Venis would know who it was. She shook her head and continued fixing bones.

Tasha opened her eyes and looked at Emilia, and then at Madeline. She turned her head and spoke to Altonas. "I am sorry our conversation got interrupted. Perhaps, some other time, I will give you that spar." She smiled at him, and this smile was genuine. She felt bad that someone had entered her head and upset her to this point.

She closed her eyes again and let the women do what they were going to do. She could feel herself relaxing. In fact, this was the most relaxed she had been in a very long time. Venis had finished her hands and arm so she laid back on the floor and closed her eyes. She wasn't getting that same feeling that she didn't know Venis was getting. The only ones she felt in the room were the physical beings. So that made it that much easier for her to relax.

Emilia's eyes were closed she was concentrating, but her face was peacefull and serene, how was she able to pass calmness onto Tasha? By making herself calm of corse. She had dropped all the barries she kept in place letting what she felt be picked up by anyone she chose to share it with, or by anyone that was empathic.

It was working so well on Tasha because she was conciously directing it at her.

Tasha seemed to be doing better, she was glad about that, but she wondered how well Emilia and Venis were holding up. They had both been there to help her after Benjamins attack, and had both been there to help her.

Since Tasha seemed to be responding to Emilia and Venis so well, she decided to give both Venis and Emilia a little energry boost. Madeline with one hand pulled out a couple of pieces of brecciated jasper.



Brecciated jasper gave endurance to those who needed it. Madeline stopped praying. She had enough energy going through the quartz to continue to help Tasha. She had learned with in her fourth year on Avalon how to channel several seperate waves of energy.

Madeline seperated the piles of jasper, one in direct line to Emilia, the other in direct line of Venis. She closed her eyes, for a few minutes to rechannel all her Chakra into both her arms. When she opened her eyes streams of Chakra went through the jasper and to Venis and Emilia to hopefully rebuild their stamina.

Venis worked in silence as she let Madeline and Emilia keep Tasha calm. Her stamina was good. Gawain had very strong and powerful blood. But she wasn't going to put a damper on Madeline's attempts to help. Because even though she was good, every little bit helped.

And maybe it was even that little bit that allowed Venis to finish reforming her paw into a foot. She sat back and looked at Tasha then. "Honey, I know you don't want to bother me, but you can always talk to me, or Casie, or even Manny. Hell, just about anyone. You should not be getting this upset. Now, is it just the nightmares?"

That feeling that there was someone else in the room with them was gone now. But someone had been there before. Venis was going to have to find out who and why.

[Altonas Arken'neld]

He has his arms across his chest the entire time of the so called transformation. He saw a couple more people come into the Battle-Gym. He saw the lady that he saw before at the Bar, and then the other two ladies. He took a look at the woman with the red hair and took notice to something. He concentrated and that was when he figured it out. This one was a full goddess, not a halfgod. He then looked over and saw another female this one was human. He didn't think much of her. The ones that did intrigue him were the goddess and the shifter. Granted the shifting probably went wrong but what did he know about it. For all he knew that is how she changed. After a short while the goddess put her hands through Tasha and he could hear the snaping of bones as they were being mended. He put his hands behind his head as he kept on looking. After it looked like the lady Tasha was done with the transformation he heard her speak to him. He smiled and nodded, "Very well my dear I will keep your word on that." He went walked over to a few of the dumbies that were around. Looking at them he kneeled down and jumped straight up extended his legs kicking both of the dumbies in the head before twisting in midair putting his hand out shooting a fireball at the third train dumby. As the fireball went out of his hand there was enough of a blast that made him do a backspin. With his arms extended he lands gracefully. He smirked at what he had done before walking back over to the ladies. "Dear lady Tasha, if you ever want to talk about ever is upsetting you. Remember as a Drow we are taught to respect women and listen to them." With that he starts to walk off.

Tasha could feel the calm that Emilia was directing at her. It was almost enough to cause her to spill the beans even more. But something told her that maybe she should talk to someone other than Venis.

Madeline was a big help as well. The quartz was as beautiful as it was energizing. But now she thought she was calm enough and she knew she was healed enough, that she didn't need all the fuss anymore. "I'm sorry I was so much trouble ... Again." She sat up then and leaned over to kiss Madeline on the cheek. Then she turned to her other side and gave Emilia a kiss to the cheek as well.

Then she sat up and turned around so that she was sitting with her legs crossed in front of her Indian style so she could see Altonas to speak to him. She knew Venis was going to move so she was no longer behind her as well. "V, the nightmares are my biggest problem. They are what is keeping me from sleeping, and the lack of sleep is what is causing me to be so forgetful when it comes to things like eating." That was a plain and simple answer that didn't involve lying.

She looked up at Altonas. She had a genuine smile for him this time. Her emerald orbs even sparkled when they reflected the artificial light of the underground room. "Thank you Altonas. I do know some about the teachings of the Drow. And if ever I need to talk, I will check to see if you are around. Please do stop by again sometime so we can have that spar." She meant it, even after seeing what he could do. She had spared against Venis before, she didn't fear his flames. "Have a nice day Altonas." Then she redirected her attention to the three women.

And that strange feeling that Venis had before, when she felt like someone else was in the room. The feeling Tasha didn't know Venis had. Now Tasha had that feeling. She almost turned around to see who was there, but she knew that there wasn't anyone there, it just felt like there was.

She smiled at Tasha as she kissed her cheek.

"Your welcome, but for now I feel the need to return to my daughter, if you will please excuse me."

She got up and bowed her head to all in the room including the drow and left.

Madeline was glad to see Tasha doing better. Once she felt Tasha was going to be ok, she released the jasper. She nodded to Emilia as she left. "First of all you are never any trouble to me. You always be my Aunt Tasha. Second, glad I could help Tasha. Sorry about what I said about Uncle Garreht earlier, just trying to motivate you. Oh and keep the quartz. Always good to have some with you, and I know where to get more. Venis is right though anytime you need to talk, I'm here."

Maddie winked at Tasha." I'm not some little kid anymore you know."

Madeline then looked at Venis. "Is there anything else I can help you with Goddess?"

She reached over and wrapped her arm around Maddie's neck and pulled her into a playful head lock. She laughed. "Oh yea? Not a kid anymore huh?" She kissed the top of her head and let her go. "Bye Emilia. Thanks again." She took the offered quartz. "Hmm, maybe, if it's strong enough, I'll make some jewelry out of it. Thanks Maddie. And don't worry about what you said about Gary, who knows, maybe if the roles were reversed, I might have had the same thought." She was looking at the quartz. Who knows, maybe she would get around to talking someday.

The feeling of someone else in the room had passed.

Venis sighed. She knew Tasha was keeping things from her, but she couldn't blame her. Maddie wanted to know if there was anything else. That required no thought on Venis' part. "Yes, Madeline, can you go to the kitchen and get the Furgirl here some meat and potatoes. No alcohol for 24 hours." She stood up and reached her hand to Tasha. "Bring it to her room please dear." She took Tasha's hand and pulled her up.

She escorted her to her room and made note to get her door fixed. She waited for Maddie with her. She didn't press for information, just looked at some of the jewelry she had been making.
