.. where are we again?

[Cyrus Silverling]

They had done their fair share of walking. Actually, walking was more of an understatement at the moment. It seemed like more of a journey then anything. His translucent, at least in the current shade of light, hazel hues jumped from section to section until finally pausing their practicing in futility. "Hey, man." His left hand lifted to the back side of his head, fingertips scratching idly as he turned more directly to Fallon. "I have absolutely NO idea where we are. I, uh, guess this wasn't that great of a short cut." Cue the grin. Yeah, he really hadn't had much of a short cut planned.. but that direction had looked good when he first saw it.

"What do you think? What the hell, right? We might as well get a drink. I'll even call your wife for you and tell her you won't make it home before bedtime." That was pretty much his way of egging Fallon on. It usually worked. Still, his attention moved from his friend to the building infront of them. It would have been a lie to say that he didn't want to check it out himself, seriously, curiousity had always been one of Cyrus' constant downfalls. "Screw it. I'm going to go in." And that was all it took before he was making his way to the door, opening the door wide and stepping on it.

[Fallon Zane]

Fair share? They had been walking for like, most of the day! This just goes to show what a bad, bad idea it was to let Cyrus direct anything but the distribution of drinks. Head lost every sense of where he was about five minutes after Cyrus' feminine voice squeaked about that shortcut...

Cyrus knew the condition of the man standing beside him. Icy blues narrowed slightly. Glaring at him... not really angry. Just irritated. "Yeah, I picked up on that like three bridges ago, Magellan." Still... at least they weren't in the middle of some big old wheat field with a cow munching away... there was civilization at least. "Just remember, little guy, I can always bring myself home in a blink..." ... and leave your lameness stuck here!

A bit of a shrug offered up finally, after Cyrus has started off toward the door. Well... long as they were here? "... I guess a drink... or six... wouldn't hurt..." Following after Cyrus, Fallon sliiiiiiiiithered inside.

[Arcadia]

Arcadia felt the need to check in on Kyra and decided to have the Darkmane carriage take her to the inn. As the two men were standing there deciding whether or not to go in a carriage would pull up in front of the door. Arcadia sat there for a moment trying to prepare herself. Once the two men were inside she stepped out and headed for the door. Standing outside for another moment she made her way in and nearly bumped into the pair. A little embarrassed with herself she looked at both and apologized.

-Excuse me gentlemen did not mean to nearly run you over.-

Oh, he was hilarious. "You would blink without me when you can take me right along with you? What a great friend." Several shakes of the head followed, but only briefly, because he was already looking away to survey over the interior of the place. .. and, obviously, he would spot exactly what it was he was looking for. "Here w-.." The words trailed off when another women came out of the blue from behind, barely avoiding bumping into them.

"Whoa." His words escaped with a grin. "No worries. You actually might be able to help us out. This guy over here.." An extended thumb was pointed in Fallon's direction. ".. got us lost and we have no idea where we are. I'm hoping that it's safe to say that you know a thing or two about this place?" If not, well, they were in the same spot they were before she almost ran them over.

[Casandra Lightheart]

Casie was coming down from her rooms, the twins were at school and she was hungry. She made her way to the bar.

Kjay was on her heals. He saw the two men and stopped at Fallon wagging his tail.

Seeing Kjay’s reaction Cas stopped and looked closer at the man then smiled.

"Fallon, is that you?"

Looking to the other man she held out her had.

"You I do not know, my name is Casandra Lightheart."

[Cyrus Silverling]

People seemed to be flowing in left and right! It seemed almost movie like the way things were moving along there. While he waited for an answer from the women, his sometimes short attention span was grabbed by the sounding of another woman's voice. Fallon? Someone actually knew him around here.

A curious eyebrow lifted to the approaching woman, watching her move closer with a question for Fallon before she had turned to him. "Casandra Lightheart, huh? Name's Cyrus Silverling. A pleasure." The extended hand was taken and grasped in a simple hand shake before he retracted it, letting it rest on his side once again. "He got us lost, for the record." Someone was going to have to take the blame for them ending up wherever it was they were.. and more than likely that person was going to be Fallon. Despite the fact that it was all Cyrus' doing. Ahem.

[Casandra Lightheart]

"Pleased to meet you Cyrus, the wolf here is my protector, his name is Kjay."

When he released her hand she also returned it to her side.

Hearing his human say his name he moved back over to her and licked her hand. He looked at the other man he didn't know and tilted his head to the side. Yes he was a lot more then he seemed to be.

[Arcadia]

Arcadia looked to the man that spoke and then looked to the man he pointed her and her jaw dropped when Cas came up and introduced herself tot he other man.

-Fallon? Wonders never cease.-

She turned her attention back to the other man and introduced herself.

-I'm Arcadia Nyght and I believe Miss Casandra here knows more about this place than I do. But I can tell you from what I have seen it is a wonderful place.-

Of course someone knew him around him. Fallon Zane was a household name! But still... wow. How creepy is this? Cyrus actually did something right for once! ... well sort of, since he completely screwed up bringing them here. But hey! Once he was inside and scoping out this new scene... he heard both a familiar voice, and then saw a familiar face! It took a second, his head canting all extra slow to the side like, before Casandra got something she might recognize as well!

... a vintage, trademark lopsided grin from the Madman.

"... Cassie!" Yes. Fallon still never used people's full names. Just the shorthand form, or some random name he tended to tag on people. The second woman.... seemed... familiar? So she of course would get an identical crooked grin, and a little wriggly fingered wave. He let Casandra finish up with Cyrus, before he slid into character. Which of course meant... heh! He was standing there with his arms out to her. Ahem, yes. Someone expected a hug!

[Casandra Lightheart]

She nodded to the woman that introduced herself as Arcadia. and when Fallon said her name she turned back to him. She laughed at the crooked little grin.

"How are you my old friend."

She moved over to him giving him the hug that she knew he was waiting for.

[Fallon Zane]

You better believe he was waiting for it! Don't see someone in many, MANY years - well, at least to Fallon it has been! - and you sure don't expect just a handshake and a smile. You want some love! Arms slink around her sides once she slid into them, and she got a hug returned right back to her. And a quick smooch on the cheek for good measure. Because Fallon was all about spreading the love.

"Well, I ain't pushin' daisies yet... not for lack of effort... but I'm still kickin'! How crazy is it that this tool over here would totally screw the pooch and bring us to you!"

Naturally, Fallon's head jerked toward Cyrus at the tool comment... had to identify the tard, yes?

[Casandra Lightheart]

She returned his kiss with one of her own. She stepped back to look at him.

"You have changed a bit, I almost didn't recognize you, but Kjay did."

She then looked at Cyrus and laughed.

"Fallon, I am not the only one here."

Venis had depleted her supply of blood wine in her room and didn't want to open that special bottle she had gotten for Christmas. So that left her with going down to the bar to see if there was any more. So many beings had been coming and going that sometimes when she felt someone she knew in the area, she let it pass. But as she was headed down the stairs, this one was not going to pass, because it was growing stronger.

She hit the ground floor and was headed to the bar when she caught site of the source of her feeling. Fallon Zane. Now there was someone she hadn't seen in many many years. The last time she had seen him was in the SBR, he was married to Airtia. Wow, small world. "Well, I'll be damned." Yea, argue the semantics of that later. "Fallon." She smiled as she looked over at him. She had no idea who his companion was, but there was still something about him as well.

She smiled a nice pleasant smile. "Arcadia. Good to see you. Hey Casie." She looked down beside Cassie. "And hello to you too Kjay boy." It seemed that more and more of the SBR members were showing up every day. Even ones who were hardly ever around.

[Casandra Lightheart]

Kjay wagged his tail and went to Venis, he licked her hand. This one was his human’s friend and therefore his. He then moved back to Cas.

"Hello Venis, I guess you remember Fallon as well."

She laughed.

"I was just telling him others were here, normally I wouldn't give up that information , but I think Fallon deserves to know."

[Fallon Zane]

He had changed... yeah. That was putting it lightly. He had gone through a whole lot in the years it's been since he was a kid running around the Society... man, he was a kid back then! Bizarre... how things have changed. He'd have to show Cassie one of these days! And... the other woman who had joined them... another vaguely familiar face... who the hell was that...

"... Venis?" It wasn't terribly clear? But he did remember enough obviously to come up with a name! ... which, cripes he hoped was the right one! "This is a total head trip... it's like seeing ghosts, ya know?" But that wasn't wiping that goofy grin of his off his face!

"There's others, you say? Did I just walk through a time rift or something? Like... how many others are we talkin' about?" Yeah... for this colossal screw up, he might have to buy Cyrus a few rounds...

[Casandra Lightheart]

"Dreconis, Gawain, Airtia, thoes are the three I know you will remember."

She smiled.

"Looks like someones mistake has brought you good fortune."

Yes Cas was much the same but also different, she had been through much.

[Arcadia]

Arcadia stood there while everyone spoke to each other not having expected him to remember her. She smiled to Venis as she spoke to her and Cas she remembered from Krow's memorial. She knew that Venis didn't know that she was Kyra's mother because Dre was leaving that to her to decide if she wanted that known. Unlike her daughter she had no distrust or dislike for Venis and heck even Sheena was starting to get back to her old self now. She spoke to Venis before she went to find her daughter.

-Hello Venis its nice to see you again and Sheena asked me to say hello for her if I saw you. But if you will excuse me I need to go find my daughter and Dre there is much we need to discuss. Fallon it was good seeing you again.-

With that she started to head off in the direction of Dre and Kyra's rooms. She let out a breathe she had been holding a little nervous at what Venis' reaction was going to be about knowing she was her granddaughters mother.

[Guest]

Venis chuckled as she closed the space between them. "Hello there Fallon. It's been a while." She offered him a hug. "Oh and Kahn and Angel are also here. Not to mention Tasha. It's becoming quite the family reunion. But your mug is one I never thought I'd see again." She was all smiles at seeing yet another familiar face.

Two more things served to shock the Goddess. Arcadia said that Sheena said hello. That was cause for a heart attack in and of itself. But then she said her daughter and Dre. Kyra was Arcadia's daughter? "Um, thanks for the message Arcadia, and um, give my love to my son and Granddaughter for me please? And you can tell Sheena later that I said hello back." Venis was in shock for sure now.

[Fallon Zane]

... Fallon just sort of stood there, his face kind of blank of expression. There was a bit of shock with that list of names! Scales... Hairball... 'tia... those three names alone brought back a whole load of memories! Some of them not the nicest... but still, a lot of memories!

"... yep. This... is definitely gonna be interesting... I may have to come haunt this place a little..."

What a little world he had stepped into! He caught Arcadia's parting farewell, and gave her another little grin and nod. And went back to wondering.... what else could he dig up in this place?

He hadn't expected to have a hug thrown at him from Venis... he really hadn't been that well acquianted with her, had he? But hell, he never turned down a hug! Arms were around her next, and she was getting a squeeze!

"Khan and Angel too, huh? Is this just a big reunion of old school partiers moshin' together for one big hurrah or what! My mug... my mug had some serious issues to deal with. But it's good to see ya again!"

[Casandra Lightheart]

She smiled and laughed.

"And what an ugly mug it is."

She was of course joking.

"I am having a formal ball at Claremount for Valentine's day, you are of course invited if you will still be around."

[Arcadia]

Arcadia had turned to hear Venis and nodded to her. She caught the nod and a grin from Fallon and she figured she would have to catch up with him another time and maybe she can refresh that memory of his. She turned and made her way on to see everyone else. She figured words weren't necessary at this point.

[Fallon Zane]

... uh oh. Fallon actually kinda shivered a bit. One of those words Cassie spoke got that reaction out of him.... formal. Just wait until they saw the Fashion Victim in action.. they'd know how he felt about formal!

"... uhm? Well... I'll have to see! I got a wifey to drag out for a night on the town, most likely... but maybe I can drag her down this way with me, ya?"

[Casandra Lightheart]

"She would be more than welcome in my home."

She smiled.

"Are you worried about formal?"

Venis laughed at the squeeze. They had been close enough that he had been on the council's list. Potential beings capable of helping rescue the Goddess is what JonLouis called it. "Yea, I asked Seleen to find me someplace quiet to recuperate and it starts pulling people out of the woodwork. Married again? Addicted much?" She laughed again.

[Fallon Zane]

Worried about formal? Heh! Fallon simply just disliked formal! Rigid, proper and official never really did sit well with him... ever. Shoulders popped up in a little shrug, but he was still all smiles.

"I wouldn't exactly say worried? More like it ain't really my thing. But, ya never know! Stranger things have happened! ... like this..."
