Dust from the road.

::Havin' traveled many many miles, how many even he had lost count of. Over several continents, vast oceans and even into parts of the heavens above. The bone weary man makes his shuffling way into the inn he only moments before noticed. That is what he needed, some food and drink and a very very long time to sleep. Hopefully the beds where warm and the sheets clean. Though at that moment he really did not think it would matter. Tired of sleeping on the side of the road he longed for a real bed. His eyes half closed from exhastion he looks around to see if maybe someone was around. Someone who could show him to a room, or maybe even an overstuffed chair. He really was not picky. Anyone that looked at him would tell he had been on the road for a long time as his clothes where so dusty and grey there was no way to tell what color they used to be. His hair was pretty much the same way. Coated in mud and dust its normal luster was all but lost. In fact the only thing about him that did not seem covered in dust was his eyes. They stood out completely from the rest of him as they were glowing a brilliant blue. He made his way to the bar, to find a seat. Hopefully they did not just throw him out thinking him a poor begger.::

[Emilia]

Emilia was sitting at the bar, she was on a stool her legs crossed at the ankles. She saw the man come in and hopped down from the stool, icy blue eyes reguarded him. He looked like he had travled a very long way.

She adjusted her skirt and sweater and stepped forward.

"Can I help you?"

[lordchop]

::the man smiled at the lady:: Yes maam I am in desperate need of a bath food and some place to sleep. ::nods to himself:: yes and that seem like the right order too. I am sorry for my appearance and ::sniffs:: unearthly smell. Been traveling a very long time.

[Emilia]

She smiled back.

"Lets just go to the front desk."

She walked over to the desk expecting him to follow.

"Lets see do you want to share a bathroom, have a private one in your room, or have a suite?"

[lordchop]

::follows her to the desk but still keeping a bit of a distance. He looks around and blinks a bit while he pats the side of his leg a bit of a jiggling as coins bounce of each other:: Well i better settle for which ever is cheapest right now. ::says with a bit of embassesment in his voice and on his face::

[Emilia]

"That will be the rooms down here on the first floor."

She grabbed up a key and handed it to him.

"The shower is at the end of the hall, you will find the tolitries and towell in the room. As for food when your cleaned up come see me and I'll find you something. Sign here please."

She passed the ledger over to him for him to sign.

[lordchop]

::the man steps up to the ledger and signs it as he takes the offered key. After looking toward the hall she mention he looks back at the woman:: Would there happen to be a laundry cleaning service as well? ::looks down at his clothes:: would be a shame to be clean and have to get back into the same dirty clothes.

[Emilia]

"That I do not know, but I can do a small favor"

She closed her eyes and the air around him shimmered, his clothes not only looked clean but looked new again.

"There."

She smiled at the man.

[lordchop]

::looks down and smiles:: Why thank you very much. That saves alot of time and awkwardness as i had nothing else to change into. By the way, my name is Frost. Wonderful to meet you. ::was about to hold out his hand then stops:: maybe after the shower we can shake. ::makes his way in the direction of the shower::

[Emilia]

She laughed as he walked off and called after him.

"Yes after you shower."

[lordchop]

::After about an hour Frost walks back into the main part of the inn to see if the woman was still here. He had taken a marathon shower to standing in the stream loving the feel of the water falling down his back. Now that he was all clean and dry and feeling like a new man it was time to eat. Yes eat and right about now he could eat just about anything. With all the dust and mud from the road his skin was back to his normal color, or lack there of. Frost was white, almost as if he had never been in the sun before. Not the paleness of say a vampire but just white. His short light brown hair was back to his normal volume and luster as his bounced and shined in the light. His eyes remained the same, still glowing blue. He still more shuffled then walked. Though the shower had worked wonderfully, he was still dog tired. But not tired enough not to eat, and that is just what he planned.::

[Emilia]

Was still sitting in the bar. She looked up and smiled as he came in. Underneath all that grime he was actually rather handsom. She held out her hand.

"I'm Emilia."

[lordchop]

::smiles and takes her hand as he steps up to her smelling clean and fresh like a mountain meadow:: Wonderful to meet you Emilia as I said I am Chop, Frost Chop. ::could not help himself:: Could I bother you for some substance. I am rather... starved. ::laughs a bit::

[Emilia]

She wanted to laugh, so she did one of her full musical laughes.

"Substance can come in many forms, what are you starved for? Food, conversation, companionship, or maybe all three."

Yes she was flirting, she coulden't help it. It was just in her nature and his little slip brought it to the surface.

[lordchop]

::blinks a fun times and looks at her. Was she really flirty with him? did she not know how bad that was for her? well then who around here would know him? smilin' more he steps a bit closer to her bringin' her hand to his lips:: I dear i am starved for whatever it is you are willin' to offer me. :: it was weird being around people again. how long had it been since he actually talked to anyone? oh well. Never hurts to start again::

[Emilia]

She smiled as he kissed her hand.

"Food first, then we will see what happens, what would you like to eat?"

She did not remove her hand from his, she was waiting for his answer.

[lordchop]

I don't know? ::thinks about it for a moment:: What about some roast with the fixin's? You got that? And some.... sweet tea. Yes that would go hard. ::nods.::

[Emilia]

She went to the kitchen and came back out with a plate that had chicken mashed potatoes and gravey, with greenbeans. Also a glass of ice tea and sugar.

"This was the best I could come up with."


She set it down in front of him and sat down back at the bar.

[lordchop]

My dear you are a life savor. ::sits down and starts to eat. Gets half way finished before he even looks up:: This is wonderful. Did you make it yourself? ::points to chair:: Join me?

[Emilia]

She laughed.

"Me cook? I would burn the place down."

She did move over to sit with him.

"Yes I can join you."

[lordchop]

::laughs a bit between mouthfuls:: Yes I have not yet mastered cooking either. I dabble but ::waves hand airly:: So.... where am I?

[Emilia]

"You are at the Tel'Ranaemyn Inn, it is just outside of New Haven."

She would hope, he would know he was in Rhydin, but if he didn't she was sure she would ask.

"So tell me, what happened that a man as handsom as you ended up covered in that much dirt."

[lordchop]

New Haven? New Haven! I have no clue where that is. ::eyes squinted shut as he was thinkin' it over:: Well i was doing alot of travelin'. Lookin' for people to help with my trainin'. And tryin' to hunt down people my father once knew. Traveled a lot so it is hard to find them. Well with all my travelin' i never stopped that much in the beginnin' so i got... dirty. Then people stopped lettin' me come in to places thinkin' i am a begger. So it all just piled up and piled. It really is surprisin' how fast you can get overed in dust and mud when you are always outside.

[Emilia]

"New Haven is a city in Rhydin, there is a port just outside the city proper."

She listened to the story.

"Begger or no everyone deserves to be seen as human. Some people just don't bother to look past the outside."

[lordchop]

::Nods a bit while he finishes up eatin':: Not everyone feels the same way. there are alot of places in rhydin that place to much in the class system.
