Oh Dre dear ... Empty Oh Dre dear ...

Venis came through the forest cussing a blue streak. She had just been to the house and was not at all happy. Not only had Kahn not been there, but the house looked like a tornado had gone through it. The kids said that they hadn't seen their father in weeks. But what made it worse was that he had left the war room open. The kids, being who they were and being teenagers at this point, had been playing in there. The one room, other than her bedroom, that they were never supposed to go into.

She had collected what she had gone there for, told them to get the house cleaned up, and left off again. But not before she informed them that she would be back before Christmas to check on them and bring them their gifts. She also asked them to keep an eye out for their sister. Once she emerged back in New Haven she didn't even head back to the Inn. She was still angry and needed something taken care of in a hurry. She headed straight for The Fires of Hades.

She entered through the door with a bag slung over her back. She walked over to the counter and set the bag upon the top. "Hello. Is my son around by chance?" She was calming down, but she would be more calm once things were taken care of. Her voice was softer than it had been while she was cussing her way to the forge. She didn't even realize it, but it was a good thing, she wouldn't want to frighten anyone.

Kyra had done as she was asked and had gone by the forge the day before and left a note on the counter in case anyone had come by looking for an order or to place an order. The note read as follows -

We have closed down for the holidays anyone wishing to retrieve an order or to place an order can come back when we are open. Thank you for your understanding. Happy Holidays and see everyone when we return after the new year.

Venis then looked up when she received no response. Ahh, that would be why, there was no one there. "Great." It was just another thing to add to her list. She moved the bag and that was when she saw the note. At least there was good reason for her to have been talking to herself. Well, they deserved the time off. So she slung the bag back over her shoulder and headed back to the Inn. She could sharpen her own blades. As far as her claymore, well, there were always other ways of fixing her favorite blade.
