Beckoned to aide another
He was going about some paperwork at his desk when a messenger arrived before him. He looked up to the messenger and beckoned for him to step forward. He takes the note from the messenger and reads it in silence. He rises from his chair and motions for the messenger to leave him.
He goes out into the hall and knocks upon the doors along the way. He gets into the meeting room and watches as the others enter as well. "I have a letter here, it comes from the Goddess' panther. She says that she is worried about the Goddess. I will be leaving immediately for Rhy'Din. Victoria, you will be in charge while I am away, I do not know how long I will be." He watches as they all nod.
He takes leave of the council and heads to his room to pack a bag. He makes his way out of the pyramid and stops at one of the pillars that house the servants. Taking a servant with him he sets out on his journey. He takes portals to speed him in his task. He feels the faster he gets to her the better.
Somewhere he makes a wrong turn and ends up at the Keep for The Society of the Blood Rose. "Hmm, it has been so long since I have been to Rhy'Din, and I know that there is no one here any more, it has long been shut down. There has to be another portal around here." Speaking more to himself than his traveling companion, but the man nods none-the-less.
He finds another portal at the end of the wall. Stepping through it he finds himself at the house of the God of Ice and Death and the Goddess of Fire and Protection. He was getting close. But the letter had said that she was not at home with her husband. Regardless, her husband was home. He would stop in and check on things. The guards allow him passage and he goes to the door.
Finding no one home but a servant he sighs. The servant tells him how to get to the location of the Goddess and JonLouis is once again off on his journey to his destination. He enters into the woods and wonders why there is no portal to get him there faster. They travel along an unseen path in the direction they had been told to go.
They arrive at their destination after what seemed like an eternal journey through the dark woods. JonLouis walks up to the door of the Inn and then soft quiet footsteps carry him in the door. He walks to the desk smoothly. His robes cover him fully. His hands are held in front of him clasped together, the sleeves of his robes covering them fully. He has his hood pulled up casting a shadow upon his features. He stops at the desk to await some assistance. He knows where he is going, the letter was quite informative, but it would be rude to simply go without announcing his presence to the staff. So he waits.
After a bit he figures perhaps he should just get to where he was requested to be. He would inform the staff of his presence later, right now, he was expected ... on the third floor.
