Premonition
Something was wrong. Earlier in the evening Elessar had decided in an unusual last minute decision to dye his hair dark for the holiday, and had ended up running late to the party. Now in the middle of re-braiding it, for he never went anywhere until it was done, he began to feel something was wrong.
The life-bond he shared with Ar had been quiet as it normally did, but suddenly it jolted to life, sending a wave of terror washing over Elessar. Something was wrong, and though he didn't know what, based on the feelings it couldn't have been anything good. Grabbing his bow, he headed out the door.
The Elf had reached the bottom of the stairs when the bond went dead. Close to panicking, Elessar was quickly across the room and out the door.

Re: Premonition
Elessar did not have to go too far. Once Epiphany was clear of the party, and she was sure that no one else was around, she underwent a partial shift. Epiphany wasn't a muscular female with great strength or anything like that so it was hard to carry him as her normal self - he was lucky that she had been able to remove him on her own at all.
Like this the change was hardly noticeable, especially with the outfit she wore. Now that he was a lot lighter she carried him with more ease, he'd have to forgive her for carrying him like a sack of potatoes. It was simply easier.
Getting closer she saw Elessar heading out the door and waved him back in. "Go back in. I gotta lay Ar down. He's alright, something caused him to faint is all." What it was she didn't know. He merely fainted.
