Venturing out for food

Kyra had gone and found her room and exploring it a little bit. She kept her cloak on until she was sure it was safe to do otherwise. Finally taking off her cloak she lays it down next to her bag and dug out a fresh outfit so she could wash up and go get something to eat. Ready to see what and who she would come across here. She wondered what type of creatures stayed in this place and hoping they were friendly. She tends to get nervous if she is around mean spirited creatures. She was sure she would get looked at funny because she was so small for her age; she stands 3 feet tall and weights 30 pounds (about the size of a 1 or 2 year old child). Opening her door she peeked out looking from side to side down the hall to make sure the coast was clear. Once she was sure it was ok she walked out into the hallway shutting the door behind her. Her wings fluttered behind her from nervousness. She makes her way to the place she was told she could get food and drink. Looking at the stools they have she shakes her head and looks around not sure if she should float up or just try her hand at climbing up. She opted for floating not someone to laugh at her and waits there patiently for someone to come take her oder. She looks around some more taking in the sights in the room.

Madeline makes her way to the customer. "Hello again. My I take your order?"

She simply nodded to Madeline and spoke softly.

"May I have some fresh fruit and orange juice?"

She wasn't really sure what to order but she knew those were things she liked and felt safe with that for now.

Cassie came down to the bar from her room and smiled to the new person with a slight nod to her head she walked up to the bar.

"Maddie dear can I have a glass of wine?"

Being a nervous one these days she would have flewn away if she wanted to draw more attention to herself but instead she stayed and her wings fluttered quickly because of those nerves as she waited for her food to arrive. She simply smiled softly to the woman trying not to let on that she was nervous around people.

Madeline grabbed a bowl of freshly cut fruit and juice from the fridge.
"Here you go friend, I hope you enjoy it."

She then poured Cas another glass of wine. "Here you go Miss Cas. Are you having fun?"

[color=darkblue]She sat there wide eyed staring at Madeline. No one ever referred to her as a friend.

"Thank you."

She turned her attention toward the food sitting in front of her and began to eat.[/color]

She smiled at Maddie.

"I have been haveing a lot of fun lately, someone has been occupying a lot of my time."

She looked to the new person with a smile.

"Hi I'm Casandra."

"Oh your welcome. By the way, just in case I forgot my name is Madeline, and Miss Casandra is a very dear friend of mine from my childhood. To be honest Miss Casandra is more like a hero to me. Her and a few others who happen to be at this Inn were instrumental in helpng me in a very bad situation."

She smiled at her and winked. "Thanks Maddie."

She looked up and started looking around thinking someone was standing near her that these ladies were talking to them and not her. When she saw no one by her she looked back at both of them with wide eyes not sure what to do or say. Her belly began doing flips when Madeline started talking about a bad situation. Kyra began wondering who told her that she was in a bad situation cause she surely did not tell her. In a soft nervous voice she spoke.

"I....I'm uhh Kyra. It's nice to meet you both."

Her wide midnight blue eyes looked back at both them in turn.

Madeline smiled at Kyra. She noticed she kept looking behind her.It's true Cas if it weren't for you. the Lady Venis, and Furball who know what would have happened. By the way please don't tell him I said that because I'll deny it." Madeline winked.

It's nice to meet you too Kyra. That is a lovely name. Sweetie, is their someone in this bar bothering you. I notice you keep looking around. If there is. I'll be glad to make them quit."

Krys was practically bouncing up to the bar. She saw Maddie, Cas, and a new person talking. Hi Maddie, hi Cas. Maddie I saw your note in the gym, if you're really brave enough to help me take on my mother, you're more than welcome to. Krys was about to explode with excitement.



Krys turned to the new person at the bar, and extened her hand. Hello there. My name is Krystal, you can call me Krys if you like, all my friends do.

She shook her head to Madeline and started to even relax until the other person bounced up to the bar. She jumped and all but flew away as that same person started talking to her. She was still skiddish around people she did not know. Her first thought being surrounded by three people was that she was going to be their lunch. She shakily spoke to the one called Krystal.

"Hi, Im Kyra. Pleasure to meet you."

She turned back to Madeline to finish answering her question.

"No ma'am no one is bothering me here."

Cassie had watched her for a while and knew that from her actions something was definatly scaring the poor fairy. She spoke to her in a soft voice.
"Kyra no one in this room will hurt you."

She looked to Casandra wearily as if she was not sure if she should believe her. She whispered to her not wanting to be rude or speak out of turn.

"You say that now but....you can never be to sure. Especially when there are ones like her bouncing around."

She nudged her head toward Krystal not wanting to offend anyone.

"Oh don't mind Krys, she's just a bubbly good antured person."

[Casandra Lightheart]

Well bubbly was one word you could use.

"She didn't mean to frighten you."

She looked at Krys.

"Did you Krys?"

She looked to all three of them women and shrugged.

"She might not have meant to but she did....Im easy to scare lately. Sorry."

She gave them a sheepish smile.

Krys felt bad for firghtening Kyra. Krys sat down beside her. "Oh please forgive me. I really didn't mean to frighten you. Honestly I just forget my manners sometimes. And to show it, I'll pay for your food and drink." Krys handed a few coins to pay for Kyra's, Cas's and her tab.
"That should be enough to cover Cas's, and mine to Maddie."

Madeline grinned"Sure Krystal, no problem!!!"

She looked confused at Krystal not sure how to take her paying for her food and drink.

"I can pay for mine...its not necessary for you to."

She wanted to make sure she knew that she did not have to do that.

"I know that, but I do feel bad for startling you, and I would like to make it up to you." Krys said with senserity

Cassie just smiled and sat back drinking her wine.

Madeline tried to ease Kyra. "Honestly Miss Kyra, Krystal is a good loving gal. She has had a good up bringing by two good parents, and wouldn't hurt a fly or anything else for that matter."
