Filling a dance card Empty Filling a dance card

She got dressed in tight blue jeans and a baggy green T-shirt. She slid on a pair of green heels same shade as the shirt. She picked up the parchment off the desk that she had been scrawling on pretty much all day. She left her third floor suite and headed to the battle gym located in the basement of the second building. she was thinking about some of the things she saw on the television when she was back on Earth this last time. she watched WWE Wrestling a few times and it gave her an idea for a spar.

She didn't see anyone around as she headed through various areas to get there. Good thing too, she didn't want to get distracted from her mission. She reached her destination and went inside to survey the layout. It was rather large. Seating seemed a little sparse, but she could fix that. She saw how she could place various items along the walls and such. It was definitely going to work. She saw where tables could be placed and piles of various other items. Yes, she could definitely make good use of the area provided, she was quite pleased.

She went back out of the room and closed the doors. She posted the parchment to the outside of the door with a pen hanging from it by a string. It read as follows:

Venis' Dance Card

Pick your spar here, simply sign your name by a number and specify what dance you would like to dance. All are welcome, no one to be turned away. And these will be open to spectators.

Options:
Food fight, Water gun fight, Water balloon fight, Pillow fight {All women, as many as want to join, bra's and panties, WWE style diva's match}, Hand to hand combat, or other suggestions welcomed.

1.
2.
3.

It went on and on. She didn't know how many beings there were at the Inn or how many would step into a spar with her, so she made sure there was plenty of room for signing up. The bottom was signed and she walked away. She would check back later to see who signed up and for what.

((I hate the six second rule, all these will be dice spars. So if you don't want to use dice, please, don't sign up))

He saw the gym and knew he had to be there. That was until he saw the note put up. Figures his mother would be here first. His head cocked to the side as he saw a name on the list and that stopped him from putting his name on the list. Instead he wrote in huge letters, "NEWP!". Chuckling he went off looking to see if he could find Cas and see who else was here.

He so hated being on the mend.

Venis went to check the battle gym where she posted her 'dance card'. Only one name and a smart comment from her son. No, he didn't have to sign his name. She knew from the chicken scratch penmanship who had wrote 'Newp' on there. She hung her head for a moment then turned and walked away.

Krys walked up to the board and put her name or a two on one match with their Mom. Now the only thing she had to do was find Dre, and tell him her insane plan.

Krystal Crow two one Nerf Bat match.

She arrived at the gym to check her 'Dance Card'. So far she had Casie for a food fight, a firm 'newp' from her son, Shuda a.k.a. Sparky for an undisclosed match, and her daughter wanting a two on one nerf bat match. She wondered who the other party would be.

She knew of at least one more name that should have been on that list. Perhaps he was getting scared in his old age. Oh, the woes of aging. She chuckled. Was he worried that she would break him, or just singe him? Perhaps if she offered to drop the 'no holds bared' rule they had always had?

Well, it was nearing time to move on and get this party started. So she figured she had bettered get some training in. She hadn't been in a spar in a long time. And it required a lot more control than a fight. Spars had rules and structure. Something Venis loved. And besides, she needed to clear some things from her mind before entering into a spar. Not because she was worried about winning or loosing, but because she didn't want to accidentally hurt someone.

Cad had heard whispers of the sign up sheet on the door of the Battle Gym. Dre had warned him against fighting his mother, but Cad was just too curious. After all, she was a woman. How good could she be? So he raised the pen and signed his name next to number four. His spar of choice was 'Best of ten, arm wrestling.' He also volunteered to help the ladies clean up after the food fight in a little note on the same line.

Dalia had been wandering around thinking. She really had no reason to stay. All of a sudden she bumped into a man. "Oh my, please forgive me." He told the time after forgiving her to tell her about the sign up sheet. She figured that she could stay just long enough to participate. She signed her name to number five for water balloons and the pillow fight as well. Then she went back to her room.

She had survived another full moon, so she dressed and headed out. She heard there was a battle gym in the Inn so she went and found it.

Tasha read the note Venis had put up and smiled. "Heh, my turn." She was going to be number six. And her spar of choice, well obviously the pillow fight, but a little hand to hand combat of course. And in true Tasha fashion, she added 'No Holds Bared'.

((With the special permission granted these two charries by the admin this will be fought with 4 dice each.))

After a simply delicious morning she went for a walk. She came across Venis' sign up sheet. She grinned as she signed up for spar number seven. Squirt guns, oh and she wanted in on the pillow fight too. She signed and left, smiling.

Joseph, Derek and Shamus had been trolling the halls. They had heard of a battle gym in the building so they went to check it out. When they saw the notice on the door they shared a laugh. Derek waked up and filled in the next three lines.

8. Derek, hand o hand
9. Shamus, hand to hand
10. Joseph, hand to hand

They walked away joking about getting to fight the boss.

He came back and looked at the card. He nodded his head. It would be a busy day for sure. Looking at the names he grinned then had an idea.

He simply wrote: 'To Dance with you, you must get all to Dance with me. Same format as with you.'

He left it unsigned and just put a question mark next to spot 11.

She had returned to check her card once again, she would be heading in to warm up and practice soon, so she figured she had better size up the competition. She saw her son's chicken scratch again and giggled. Speaking to no one she smiled. "As you wish dear." She kissed her fingers and pressed them to the paper. To her room she went, so many things to do, including a dance card for her wonderful son.

Krys took a stop by the battle gym to see who all had signed her mother's dance card. ~My mother is going to be busy.~She giggled. Then she saw Maddies note and laughed. she would have no problem with that. She left the gym and headed to the bar.

Having managed to escape the watchful eyes of her children she headed down to the gym. She takes another swig from her flask, finishing it off. She chuckles at the sign up sheet and heads inside.

Venis hadn't been down to the gym in a while. Her plans for the spars had gone awry. But she was going to take care of them now, she was sure of it. So she revisited her 'dance card' to check the list. Derek was back at the keep. Maybe another employee would like to fill in or him. Krys and Maddie were both away at the moment. She would move theirs to the end of the list or give them theirs upon the return of them both. Other than that, it seemed that everyone was present and accounted for. There was still room for more to sign up if they wanted. She headed off to prepare.

inion had heard whispers of a dance card down in the battle gym, given that her days were empty lately she headed down to have a look. Sure enough there it was. She wasn't up for actually sparring but she hadn't had a good target match in a long time.

Stepping up closer she signed her name

Inion - Fairy target match - archery
