Notice Board

[Gawain]

Grumbling irritably, Gawain walked into the meeting hall, thinking that this would be the best place to hang the cork-and-wood notice board he had had fabricated at the local woodwright. After selecting a nice place where he thought everyone would see it as they passed, he pounded a tack into the wall and hung the sign he had already penned.

To Whom It May Concern:

This Tuesday, which falls upon the fourteenth, I will be a bit under the weather. As such, I will be retreating to my room, and, if it is not too much trouble, I would like a little privacy. My closest friends and family are welcome to stop by for a brief visit, but for the most part, I would like some solitude. In case there are no almanacs in these parts, the full moon falls on the fourteenth, and it is always a trying time for my kind, to say the least. Thank you all for your kind consideration, and be well.

I fear that Gawain is not the only one who will be a little under the weather on Tuesday. Perhaps he and I can commiserate together given neither of us is looking forward to this. Cassie saw the notes on the board that was newly hung and shook her head smiling.

"A bit under the weather, is Furball nuts?"

She made a mental note to go visit him knowing he would like to see the familier face. She had never really gotten that close to Tasha but would make a note to see her as well.
